    Interesting theory as to why you put a valve on your line itself… but that’s not needed at all… you do have some good insight on nitrous it’s a good beginner video for sure. 👌🏻

    Hey Chris, I was thinking doing 75shot with my future H/C/I on my 2V. My proposed numbers should be 340-380 N/A. I was always intimidated by it because of that fear of it blowing up lol 😂

      It'll be hard to make that power at the wheel with hci, not many aftermarket intakes out there, and only one set of aftermarket heads.

      @@centraltexasfoxbodies I got the heads for great price when all said and done it will be cheaper than forced induction. Plus I’m not a big fan of heat soak. I know it’s unorthodox to have high compression 4.6L but it will be unique.

    can you feel the 75 shot ... I have a 97 rebuilt the top end new cams , valves ..ect,,, I put a 5000 watt sound system and want a little more power

      Definitely, probably add 75 hp & 150 ft lbs of torque

    Tune? Injectors and Fuel Pump with the NX kit ?I have a 03 GT 4.6 2V and I wanted to know what else you replaced to do the kit other than top end of the motor? I’ve always stuck up for the 2V. Nitrous is the way to go. Make some haters mad 😂

      Tune, Fuel pump, and colder spark plugs is all that’s necessary aside from a complete kit (nitrous kit, purge kit, bottle heater, burst valve, window switch, etc.) If using a nozzle setup, I’d get a metal cold air intake. Used to have a 2v with nitrous and sold it to a buddy of mine, still work on it for him. He’s bumping it up to a 125 soon. Cheapest way to make power for ~2.5k

      For instance, I did 3 1/4 mile hits and it wasted 3lbs of nitrous

      Yes, generally speaking 2 degrees of timing per 50 shot

    Ive had alot of people tell me to use a dry kit since these cars have plastic intakes and tend to puddle with wet kits, is this not true?

      Not true as long as you got the right setup for proper distribution

      @@ReyesBuilt its a 98 4.6 and has a accufab plenum and 70mm tb, a cold air intake, msd coils, exhaust and gears, motor is stock... ive been trying to write my own tune, not having alot of luck, cant get the dumb idle air controller valve to act right

    Its 98 4.6 motor is stock except for a accufab plenum and 70 mm throttle body, a cold air intake, 2 msd coils, exhaust and gears

    With the top end build, whats the highest you could rev it to? I wonder how it sound with it being a 2v, I imagine its just not efficient enough but would that even be possible?

      My cams power band don’t make more power past 6000 but I can probably rev it to 7500

      Shit a little 50 shot would do it! Let me know if you wanna get something ordered. Known plenty of coyote owners with a Paxton or vortech use a 50-75 shot to get going and they love it

      I would consult your tuner on that! Some tuners you don’t have to. You might be able to get away with a dry shot also.

    In the long run, if you’re not gonna do any of the work yourself, finding a shop that can do a coyote swap is a way better value. The cost will be about the same, you’ll have a more reliable setup, and you will probably make more power with your stock coyote engine than your heavily built 2v.

      Wrong. My turbo 2v makes more then a coyote swap and it is plenty reliable. The coyote is a great platform but the cost is still high fir the return. Yes it has a higher ceiling but most won’t even sniff the ceiling of a 2v

      ​@oreosstang3 I agree, 2v are like $500 at a junkyard, a forged rod and piston kit is roughly $1500, a cheap turbo kit is roughly $2500, thats $4500. Tuning will be around $400 and fuel system can be had for around $1000, you'll be around 5 to 600 whp for less than a stock coyote engine, you can also get trickflow heads for around $3000 for a 2v. There are tons of options for 2v plus they are super cheap compared to coyote power.
      Coyotes are awesome but just not necessary to make big power.

      @@centraltexasfoxbodies yep. Yes of course the coyote has a higher ceiling but most won’t even see the full potential of a 2v. I’m making 1000+ with room to grow. Is it the fastest thing? Of course not. But it still makes damn good power
