- Don't tell anyone, but I kinda copied this from a commercially available gold bucket sluice. Hardest part was finding a big enough funnel for the job.
Works very well and speeds up the constant panning of buckets of concentrates. Brings it down from half hour or more to 5 minutes plus 1 pan out. Хобби
Terry, you should put an extension tube on the funnel so it reaches slightly below the surface of the bowl. That'll keep the flour gold from floating out.
Hello Terry
Your Sluice Bucky is a very interesting idea, but when I'm by running water I prefer a sluice.
But for lakes, the thing is very cool.
I'd be happy to give you a BIG LIKE👍 and an ABO.
Greetings from Germany from Golden Christian 🤠
Awesome. Thats cool that someone from Germany watched my video! Thanks!
@@terrybirkholz2794 Hey Terry
I always enjoy looking over the shoulders of our gold panning friends in America.
We all have the same passion for panning for gold.
And if I like something, these friends are also happy to receive a BIG LIKE and subscription from me.
I wish you many more great ideas when it comes to panning for gold and I wish that you would also film and share them.
Greeting Big Like and Subscription from Golden Christian🤠
Hey Terry, James here. Awesome idea ! Looks like gravity works . That's the key.
Yes it does! It keeps amazing me how it catches even the tiny gold!
great invention for a sluice :) does the job :) some nice pieces :)
“Nugget bucket”, I like it, clever.
Looks like it would catch anything bigger than flour.
Terry Great job! How about a "How to" build video?
I will certainly think about that! Thanks!
They used to sell thing called the roto pan
Gostei muito dó seu canal é sou garimpeiro 🙏
Interesting gadget. I wonder how well it works with fine flour gold.
It seems to be very good. I really do not find much in the overflow at all.
@@terrybirkholz2794 Cool. Thanks for the reply
Interesting video…..
Where did you find that big funnel?
Looks like one of the rivers in western Washington or Oregon.
Good question. That was awhile ago. I know when I bought it I bought 2 because not easy to find. It could have been from a beer making supply house/ They use large funnels
A little miners moss in the pale and you will get more gold
Do you mean in the bottom of the bowl or the bucket?
@@terrybirkholz2794 the bucket
Physics first, for the win!
Looks like a copy of the gold rush nugget bucket
Ya, they likely copied me.....
@@terrybirkholz2794 I don’t know man they was on shark tank years ago
I was only kidding my friend😃
would like to know how it works and the design of the bucket sluice
David, the gold, being heavy, gets settled down into the bottom of the bowl. The hardest part of the build was getting a large funnel and making it fit snugly into the bucket. I put a "bumper stop" to hold funnel in place. Used tacky weather stripping about a half inch down from top rim. Took some experimenting. But works great now!
@@terrybirkholz2794 thanks for explaining, i'm going to watch your video a third time lol
Terry bien hecho con sus manos y gracias poe mostrar
