Thank you so much for putting all this time and effort into helping me out, I hope this video pops off and helps a lot of new players get more confident!
Thanks for trusting us man! Was super fun 🙏
Great run Zach! Hope to see more of you!
This was a solid watch.. I think I've played more than you and you are LEAGUES ahead of me skill wise and game sense wise. Good job man, I hope you guys team up in the future for a redemption story.
@@RamenStyle Oh and also, great editing. I was watching part of this live and this is a really good representation of key parts. I try to learn anything I can from your videos and I hope you venture into this coaching thing a bit more as this video felt super natural. Excellent work as always.
i believe according to zachs hairline, he may even have more potential than the dark lord himself, pestily. rooting for u zach
Not even thinking about placement, it takes a lot of courage to go play in a competitive tournament with people who have multiple times more hours in the game than you, not even counting the confidence it takes to run labs twice. So glad to see him grow!
100%. The balls to just get into a tourney was crazy enough!
bro i have 1900h i don't run labs LOL, i can't believe he decided to run that for the tourney he has balls of steel!
amount of hours doesn't always mean being better. People learn at a different pace and background also plays a huge role. People with a bigger amount of hours will always have something to teach, but they won't necessarily beat you in a game
so i think the tourney wasn't on private servers so technically he was playing normal games of tarkov just as an entrant in the tourney.. Not like it was just him and other tourney players every raid
That's half my hours and I still don't know how to play the game lol. Dudes killing it.
As an around ~250h FPS scrub, I related to Zack until I saw his aggression and skill. I prefer the sneakier playstyle, so your advice was still super applicable. Thanks for being our tutor!
Glad the tips work man, cheers!
A late ping, I play around bushes suck at solo still. yet definitely hold on my own. Just unsure whats the best playaround etc. Mind explaining your playstyle more?
is it preference or lack of confidence - always have to ask yourself that question. If its the latter the only way you can build it is to die 200 times.
Damn, him being able to easily adjust all of the things you told him in that short time is crazy...
Yeah for real, he's a sponge!
@@RamenStyle last time I saw something like that, was when my friend switched from R6s to Tarkov... someone being able to go from Push with all your might to play with 30 different things in mind, and position yourself properly in just few days was crazy to see. And I saw it twice now ^^
I thought it was pretty nuts too. Wish I had that much adaptability
@@CptDawner He has thousands of hours in FPS games, I can guarantee you anyone with that much experience will be able to adapt that quickly, it's just all about experience.
@@unearthlynarratives_ i have tens of thousands of hours in fps games and im nowhere near that adaptible..
I got chills when he said they still think I’m over there. It cost nothing to be awesome and you’re an awesome teacher!
I felt the same! Appreciate this a lot dude 🙏
I think out of all the people I watch your playstyle is probably closest to how I play the game. Slow, methodical, always thinking of my next destination and being mindful of where other people are likely to be at various times throughout my raids. Watching you has absolutely made me a better player and this wipe has been pretty successful thus far for the little time I've gotten to play.
Really happy to hear this 🙏
you can tell zak wanted to improve real bad. he took criticism so well. and, you're a pretty reasonable teacher and coach. great combinations here.
Never thought id watch a 30 minute video about tarkov without noticing the time. Beautifully done Ramone
Thanks Noc! This means a lot coming from you man ❤
Guy's got 200 hours and pulls better raids than I do after 3k.
I feel the same, trust me 😂
I’m sitting around 500 hours right now and have seen a big increase in my gameplay performance since binge watching your videos, adopting your slower play style and engaging from range more when I can.
Awesome, happy to hear this man! Glad the channel helps out 🙏
Watching the whole stream was fun . It's very easy to see mistakes from when we all started . But Zack did really well . If I were in similar situations, I would be greedy and not do so well . There's a lot to learn from you ,Mr ramen the sensei .
Appreciate it Ken! Zach made the job easy 👌
Thanks! Your content is so helpful. I've played 1000s of hours in Halo (Lvl50 player), but cannot seem to improve my skills (as I would expect) in Tarkov. Watching your videos gives great intel and hope!
He did good. First death, I would have prioritized healing thorax instead of cms on leg (grunting while running is client side and no one else hears it) but at 200 hrs I wouldnt expect him to always prioritize healing the chicken nugget above all else.
Yeah, I was already micromanaging his movement, I couldnt properly micromanage his healing in the moment too. Overall tho, just an unfortunate situation to be in! Nonetheless, he did well indeed 🙌
@@RamenStyle ya making a call in the moment is what it is. I will say I typically stay in that ditch and go for the mechanics garage when I get caught out near the ditch, lateral plays make resetting the aim of the other player harder than straight on or away shots plus you are out of cover for a much shorter duration of a run.
It's clientside????
@@arcticfox037 think about it, have you ever heard someone running making the noises you do on a broken leg? nope, heavy breathing from a low health head, stomach, or thorax everyone can hear same with ankles snapping, but the grunting from running on a blacked or broken leg is only something you hear unless they changed it with the .13 audio overhaul.
like holy shit he did good don't think a lot of big streamers would do this good on you man for helping him
I enjoyed this a lot. Thank you!
I've been watching Ramen for over a week or 2 now. His playstyle has taught me so many things and I have recently started to become an absolute fiend in tactical PVP fps games. Thank you Ramen. Your Teachings have made me better. I hope to become great in the next wipe :)
Really happy to hear this!! Goodluck this wipe!
Wow! This guy deliverd! I played my self in the eu tourny and looking that he did this good with only 200 hours is impressive. Also realy good coaching rammen 👏👏
Thank you, this means a lot!
Didn't think I was going to watch the whole video since its so long but man, this was so entertaining I love the mix of coaching, spectating and discussion for each raid or engagement. Great video 👍
Glad you got thru the whole thing, this means a lot man! Thank you!
same here
Bro this video was a piece of cake, lovely rly, i liked it from the start til the end. Amazing perfomance of Zach and amazing coaching by your side!!! would like more videos like this one, having this tips also make me improve hehehe (im under 50hours played but some day... :D )
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
ABSOLUTE props to GGBDK. Excellent raids, I'd be thrilled to have such a successful night raiding, let alone in a tournament with people watching you! Great job
thank you for making this video, im a complete noob to tarkov with only 60ish hours. and i relate to zack with the more aggressive playstyle. although i have pulled off a few nice plays close range but with my lack of knowledge and weaponry i usually resort to snipers. however i am trying to learn to play slow and get kills with ars and smgs and this video helped a ton
Happy to hear this man, glad you got some value from the video! Enjoy the learning curve man, Tarkov is super exciting as you continue to learn it.
This was awesome! I'm a new player as well and Tarkov is a tough game to figure out... Sometimes I'll go on streaks where I feel I'm the Chad of Tarkov then get humbled and just lose kits raid after raid... difficult to asses yourself sometimes. Well done on the Coaching Ramen
It's the classic Tarkov cycle. Win some, lose some, but when you do lose some, it's quite humbling! You're on the right path though. Keep trucking my man! Cheers dude :)
As a Sherpa & Tournament enjoyer, this was very very enjoyable to watch! I'd be down to coach anyone that wants to too :) GGs to GGBDK!
Thanks man, this means a lot! :)
Your story telling is second to none.
No idea how you've not blown up yet!
Keep em coming chief.
I remember watching the live, it was a lot of fun gg to Zack ;)
Yes, you were there the whole tourney! Appreciate the support man, cheers!
same lol
i picked up a guy in factory with one of my most agro friends who ended up killin the guy after i told him we were friendly i could tell he was new and felt annoyed that my friend broke my word and made him give the guy my gear. later i added him on disc and found out it was his first wipe and like 5th raid. hes been playing in my group since hes now on his 3rd wipe and a phyco. man goes crazy out there and its blood for blood with him. i love the dude and am happy i made the right call that day. it would have been easy to laugh off a headshot on a noob in factory but i couldn't shake it.
Happy to hear this dude! You made someone enjoy Tarkov a lot more than he should've 🙏
Nice👌👌i'm sure he wasn't lying when he said None of the veterans wanted to coach him. A tip of the hat to you good Sir
thanks for the video, this is gold content over here, you not just coaching GGBDK but also pointed out most new players problems, I learned a lot from this and actually prepared for next wipe :)
Happy to hear this man, glad you got some value from this! Cheers!
@@RamenStyle i learned a lot from your videos, but there is actually something on my mind,i tried your flanking mindset on pretty much every map except lighthouse , for some reason i cant flank in that map due to the map narrow and straight-line nature(except the water plant zone),hope to see more of your content on lighthouse so i can learn some tips to survive the map :)
Will look into some Lighthouse PVP! Appreciate the insight man :)
i was sad i missed the stream but im so glad you made this video. Your video content and editing are amazing i love it. Keep up the hard work my guy
Thank you, means a lot!
That fight and repositioning in customs was so good. great job both of you.
Thanks my dude!
honestly never watched a tournament and been so invested and immersed in rooting for a player/team loved the video.
Happy to hear this man, thank you!
Inspiring to say the least. most players in tarkov dont know which way the gun points in 200 hours and this man came so close to passing round 1? sometimes the best teacher is the struggle to push yourself harder. but you should do more of these man, you are too modest, your pointers are very good, on point and concise. you could make a REALLY good beginner couch.
I have the feeling he is a very focused guy but you are also a great helper and you guive guidelines very very precisely, and that's what you want from someone who is teaching you. Great job man! This video works for studying Tarkov basics really well :)
Yea he could’ve kept moving @ 15:00 but he took the wrong decision at going through that long back way instead of inside drug lab or he could’ve ran left. I do believe the urge to keep him moving was a big factor on why he took that route. Also it’s cool to see when we first start we go reserve. Honestly the easiest map to remember and close to always pays out when you survive that map.
This guy got the BEST Tarkov coach there is.
LOL thanks Duck!! ❤
love seeing your content still ramen. i miss you. picked up tarkov again this wipe. i hope you are doing well man. i think of you often when see anything tarkov related!
i dont even play tarkov and have no knowledge of it whatsoever but this is still so interesting to watch
Damn dude this is a great idea for videos it's interesting to watch I'd definitely be down for a lot more of these it's a breath of fresh air in the tarkov content. You make me wanna play but I have gear fear like no other lol.
Happy to hear this man, thank you!
Don't be scared bro we lose all our gear to the wipe anyways
@@zakizdaman bro I be stressed out when I hear foot steps 😂😂 I gotta learn the maps more too lol I be playing with ppl who get mad when they die too so that don't help lol
i have 4 wipes and this dude is way better than me
I felt the same
I just got into this game so I’m pretty late, but as a new player seeing this, it’s inviting and dope as hell to see! Well played in your tourney Zack! And what you did to help him all the way through was cool as shit Ramen! W vid
bought tarkov a few wipes ago and never really got into it until this wipe, but this video just makes me want to play even more haha. definitely subscribing
bro just broke the record for saying the words "I" and "me" the most amount of times in 30 minutes
Really like this content .people working together . Screw not hitting the goal. It was awesome
Appreciate this a lot man, thank you!
I started playing tarkov last wipe and I've managed to get ~1000h of this game in 11months, I love it, and I love seeing someone else that turns into a chad with less than 200h hours
Love your perspective on this one!
Great job GGBDK. Huge steps of improvement. I do have 3 tips of advice you can use if you’d like. Turn on AA to TAA to help with the jagged lines & can help spot enemies easier. Also Prepainkill before going through heavy contact areas to help stay in the fight. & lastly use your free look more! Especially running across doorways knowing theres enemies & repositioning! None the less fantastic video!
I didn't hear a lot of these tips enough when I was starting out. Repositioning NOT only when you are in an engagement, but when you are unsure about a situation.
18:56 Birds going crazy i love it
LOL
Ramen, I discovered your channel 5 days ago. Some of your vids have helpedme tremendously (5th wipe here).
You are what I am playing Tarkov, if I was good, and let me explain: I will never be a Veritas/Lvndmark type of player. I play solo. I like to hunt, track, not front facing PvP. You teach how to play your/our style the right way. Even tho I have countless hours in this god forsaken game, just watching your vids, like the tracking one, made me level up instantly. So thanks for that.
On a side note, Im also a small content creator (diferent account, not related to Tarkov), and I know how infuriating the "you deserve more subs!", "Why this channel has not at least 1M subs" type of comment can be. Im going in a diferent direction: You should be proud of your content. Your attention to detail (E.G: You explaining a flank throughfully, the reason behind the movement, then showing the actuall map) is top notch. I have no doubt your channel is gonna keep growing, getting bigger and fatter, you thicc boi. Looking forward to keep learning with you on the inminent new wipe.
Keep up the good work.
Hey dude, really appreciate you taking the time to share your insights and the kind words man. This really means a lot dude. Really happy the content resonates with you, and thank you my man!
I can for sure say that he preformed much better than I would, ggs to him!
the first death was preventable because he was on PKs so if the sniper shot him in the leg he would keep moving but if he quickly healed his thorax he wouldnt of died to the sniper if he got shot there again instead of getting one tapped
just found your channel! started getting into tarkov more and have been learning from you! ur a chad. keep it up!
bros gonna be an absolute menace if he sticks to it and gets thousands of hours like a lot of streamers
Agreed!
Wow! I loved this video! Thanks Zack for this masterpiece! I want a second version for the next tournament he's in!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
great job guys really glad to see how much hes improved from just aa few simple tips thanks for helping him ramen
He did amazing man!
Great video bro! I was hooked!!
Thanks man!! Means a lot dude.
Only thing I would have done differently is had Zack heal his thorax before running. Otherwise it was a well directed and well played tourney!
Thanks man!!
This advice helped me so much this wipe. My friend and I have been following this video and are doing amazing so far. Great video
I have watched many of your videos and actually like them but for some reason this one made me like and subscribe just starting the video!
Appreciate it man!
this was so worth the watch. I'm still a scrub, not quite a timmy but this dude makes me feel terrible haha. game sense and timing are on point.
Glad you enjoyed the video! This dude's an anomaly. I definitely wasnt this confident/good at 200 hours. Hahaha. Cheers man!
Great video. I love these kind of movies, so its great to have one about tarkov now.
I appreciate this, thank you!
Best part is that format was kryptonite for your playstyle... Not needing extracts to confirm points from kills probably made just rushing into every fight significantly more viable
i have not played EFT in like 3 or 4 months. or watched any videos. but i gotta say im enjoying this.
This means a lot man, thank you!
This was amazing and I just discovered your content, so good man and much deserving of more subs. Great stuff friend
Appreciate it man!
14:23 I would've recommended he followed the hole in the ground and make his way next to mechanic for quick cover instead of being out in the open. He would've have many more options knowing that there's more cover at that end of the dip.
Coach Ramen ftw! Learned so much from this video. Slow and steady playstyle. 👌
Heh thanks bro!! Long time!
Man here i am unable to even find extracts, but that's besides the point.. Big up Zack's mum for the bird rescue operation!
for briefly 200h, that's very confident play, love it
this video is awesome and i really think you need an emote for zach the picture at 7:46 of him in concentration mode would make a really good one.
my 2 cents as a random guy who found this video on a whim lol
Honestly? This video helped me a lot! I'm on around 330h and I still kinda suck. I win some here and there, I lose some here and there.
This Video really helped me improving bit by bit aswell.
Thanks man!
Awesome to hear! To be fair, I still die way more than I'd like! Hahaha. The learning curve is a long, but super fun journey. Enjoy it man!
What an amazing wholesome video what a story zak gg and ramen you the man for coaching this guy gg also.
Appreciate this! Glad you enjoyed it.
Can we just comment on the guns that Zack is running? At 200 hours I was using scav guns
Lmao I feel that
what gun is that
@@adammotzer2751 m1a, mdr (though it might just be starting mdr), m4, rd-704, etc. those are mostly endgame guns, especially if you’re using them effectively which is hard without a lot of modding.
No! No..... I don't care what you say, he is a dangerous killing machine.
This is my 4th or 5th wipe and I know a Chad when I see one and nothing u say will change my mind. So what if he has less than 200 under his belt, Zack is badass.
Congrats to you both 👏 👏 👏
Hes badass indeed. Thank you!
really enjoyed this style of vid. gg's to you and zach both!
Thanks man!
i havent watched a 34min video in one sitting in a long time well made
Thank you! Means a lot 🙏
I heard that popping off at 16:30 and knew immediately what was going down and who it was lol
amazing concept and video idea! and we ALL WISH we was getting the help that you give GGBDK XD
Hahaha thanks my dude, really appreciate this!
I just discovered your videos. I absolutely love the way you edit, and present the videos. My first watch was "This Keeps Tarkov Addicting" video and I had no idea it was 40 minutes long, I swore it was a 15 minute video. It was so intense watching both videos. As someone who has just hit 1000 hours in Tarkov, I am still miles away from Zach's skill level. I'm great at keeping more money than I know what to do with but I absolutely suck at PVP. Like Zach I come from a pretty heavy FPS background and have great aim but in EFT I just can't seem to win most fights. I'm happy he was able to be coached by you. I need to start playing with someone more skilled and learn some things. I've been a solo player for 99% of my time played.
Love this video RamenStyle fun to see you analyse and coach others gameplay.. I enjoyed this and learned some thx ;)
Amazing job Zach!! And fantastic coaching by Ramen :)
He killed it! Thanks my man!
On first death, should've ran through ditch towards garage, lots more cover. Running through backside of crack is a fatal funnel from fort.
Yep thats a fair decision too! Thought about this after as well. Just hard to tell in the moment what the coverage was like. If there was more than 1 covering another angle or something. But yeah, might've been a fair decision
@@RamenStyle at least running towards garage, wether or not there's more people covering angles there, the distance from ditch to cover is way shorter than running back of crack.
another option could be stay around the ditch (could hide in the grass behind the digger/backhoe machine thingy, surprising amount of people don't look down when passing through there)and be patient enough for the people shooting to either push him or leave, them pushing him is likely to put them at a disadvantage if they've waited a while since it can spark doubt if he even left in first place, but I also get why he wouldn't or shoulnd't have for the sake of time of the tournament.
anyway first time I come by your channel, I like your vibe, you come across as very calm, supportive when giving advice and not focusing too much on the negatives. good job.
@@RamenStyle 2nd death, reserve bunker is usually my playground and hardly ever lose any fights there. that said I disagree with it being a good decision to "reposition" as he ended up going back to the original position. this allowed the second guy to push further in and gain better cover and recovering his mates loot.
the play for me would be either of two, option 1: stay and hold that hallway as the opponent has to push through the water section to get to him which ever way he chooses to go through the water it slows him down considerably and a good nade can get the kill, additionally could pull back a little bit make it sound like he is feinting a reposition and then peak when the opponent is passing through the water to the hallway, either way the opponent is at a disadvantage since your guy has 2 ways to peak from and is in no rush.
2nd option: this is a bit more risky but satisfying way to go about the underground part. he could run back up through king and into medical to then shoot the guy in the back if he is fast enough. That would be the good repositioning instead of forcing himself into a stalemate.
People usually forget that you can run back up through the buildings upstairs to gain more ground and reposition for better advantages with the benefit of as soon as you're far enough up there is no directional sound so they won't hear you coming.
the 14:40 death was caused mainly because he did not heal his thorax, he should have healed his thorax to full before continueing to run away. he already had cover, he already was able to take a moment and heal if he wanted to, but instead he kept running and this got him killed
Ramenstyle, i used your basic maneuver tips and i defeated a 3 man in reserve. thank oyu for making me a better player
Good run Zack. Personally I think you should have skipped the looting of the players. Just get their dogtags and go. Also premake full loadouts in the stash to quickly gear up and queue again. Could have gotten a couple of more raids in but overall, great job!
That's fair! But yeah, he killed it!
This is awesome. You're an absolute G Ramen.
Thanks Warwolf ❤
I’m sittin at 1200 hrs played and this game will constantly surprise you and how you’re play style changes from wipe to wipe great tips and keep up the good work it’s a love hate game
This is mad inspirational. I'm gonna start going to the scary spots and try to learn something myself
Here's a few tips... try to learn about the difference between cover and concealment and how to use it in different situations (like bounding from tree to tree or car to car while keeping in mind what can an can't get shot through and what can brake up you're outline) also try not to pop out against you're background (like standing in infront of a wall or on top of a hilltop or building)... last one, you got a good sense of timing and good reflexes use them to your advantage but don't over reli on them... you did grate don't forget that! and remember no matter how good someone gets there is always room for improvement, so keep it up :)
This is so cool to see- really amazing job- I struggle a lot with Tarkov but it's given me some tips :)
tip if you run pratice walking and hitting shift while you throw you can bounce nades wayy farther than you would think
Great video! Your video just popped up on my recommended list and I am not disappointed. As a Tarkov noob myself this is just great!
This guy is a gamer - "Lets go Labs" said no noob ever.
Going left of crackhouse is a bad decision when taking shots from fortress. It feels like more cover because you have the wall and a building but fortress has good line of sight in that alley. Going right into the conexes offers more cover and more route options. Just a map knowledge thing that you wouldn't expect 200 hours to have necessarily.
helpful tip at 19:00 when he's peaking raiders on the ramp you can actually crouch near that big bunker door and use alt lean to wiggle yourself and peak the crack in the door where it connects to the wall, and the ai have never shot me there
Ah, smart!
@@RamenStyle i actually learned it from watching lvndmark, love watching other players so i can learn from their movement and map knowledge. thanks for this awesome video! i just found your channel but you got my sub for sure!
Good to know
tarkov: the game where you can be still considered a "noob" after 200 hours
this is my first video watching you. You deserve a sub :)
Appreciate this a lot man!
@@RamenStyle ive been watching your videos nonstop lol. Main thing that I like about them is the editing keep doing what you're doing
As a player with just over 200 hours, this video is INSANELY helpful
Again...great video! And respect to GGBDK...well played! GG! :)
Thank you man!
Ngl his gaming IQ is high up there. What a gamer!
Agreed man!
14:53 - I thought the same thing before you said it in this part. I'm still watching and enjoying it though.
200h Tarkov player - This dude has over 3k hours in comp shooter games - you cant just call him fresh
This is so great to watch! Cheers guys
