Yio! Technically both the toz and vpo builds were shotguns, apparently since.366 ammo requires smooth bore weapons, the VPO is legally a shotgun in russia 😂

Yeah, .366 was only viable in russia as you'd need to own smoothbores for a few years before getting rifles, but everyone wanted to have an AK NOW, so they'd get a "smoothbore" (basically rifled choke) .366 version and then be stupid with it
There were several accidents due to carelessness of .366 users and recently legislature changed
Hopefully .366 will die off completely soon
.366 is a rifle round. The weapons are classified as SG in Russia because their law says it isn't a rifle unless the entire barrel is rifled. It's a loophole people use to graduate to rifle ownership early.

No matter the price of the sniper, there will always be that shitty scope that reduces your FPS to ashes or the game freezing for a split second just when you took a shot LMAO
Same thing happens in squad. Has to do with pip render resolution.
If you have nvidia turn on vsync fast on your cp and turn on vsync ingame. Will lessen the fps drop on scope n make it much less choppy
@@tyerasd06 or just leave vsync off in game and let the control panel handle it. Limit the fps to one frame below the refresh rate via control panel, and if you have gsync, turn that on.
Enabling it ingame makes the option in your control panel work in the first place. Lol.
@@tyerasd06 no, the control panel overwrites the in game option, I mean Im just basing this off of the few games I did this trick in. Squad, FO4, Skyrim, EFT, and Ready Or Not. They all don't have screen tearing when I disable in game vsync, but run smoother and faster just using either vsync on or fast with gsync enabled via control panel.

This is also why I felt bad for it in the first few times I ran it, but in the PvP event last year I ended up using that weapon and it felt good to drop chads left and right.

over 5000 hours of tarkov, and Snipers being my most used gun category by far, I'll vouch for the SV98 as the best price/performance rifle. great and cool out of the box, great ammo, not too expensive, and the new polymer body lets it compete with the m700 later in the wipe. Very great all rounder.
what do you think of the dvl? i rarely touch snipers and it wasnt in this video
@@thepjup4507 Its really nice if you want silenced 308 specifically. Suppressing an m700 and maintaining ergo over 0 is very expensive and impractical. If you're not specifically attached to 308, you can run the sv98 with the body kit and a suppressor for cheaper, and i prefer 54r as a cartridge regardless.
@@MrGameSecrets i for some reason have just never liked the m700, i dont know why but it just has never felt "on" taking long shots. i agree 54 r is my preferred sniping cartridge, the muzzle velocity is so helpful. I am curious how bipods and mounting are gonna effect sniping.

that 2nd kill with M700 is super super nasty! One of the best shot I have ever seen as a sniper! I really love your repositions. I can never make that big flank since I am afraid that I will lose them . Great videos as always!
Honestly, when you first start making big flanks you might lose them. But the more you practice the better you'll get at predicting where they are going to be.
Ramen and Commentators, i dont know if you like the VP-215, or 366TKM, but be advised: EKO Ammo loose its ability to EASILY penetrate AC 3 after ~185 meters, an sometimes(most of the times) over that distance means: more shoots will be needed

About that 4000 USD M700 when you put there 5 round mag it gives you ergo boost. In case you didnt know. Its my fav build

For the rem 700 build you should have used the schmit and bender 1-8 over the vudoo. Its a cheaper optic than the vudoo as well as 2 more magnification. Lots of people find that 2 extra is too much but personally for the cheaper price of it and i prefer its 1x reticle more its a great optic
And for the M700 builds, I may also offer giving a shot to full AICS furniture build. With 6x scope and a fully-loaded 10r polymer mags, its weight is below 4 (four) kilograms. It may be not so good at ergo, but when going for long-range shots rather than CQC, this disadvantage is negligible. After discovering and trying this build I just cannot use any other boltie, they all feel clumsy as hell.
TOZ is a Shotgun but shotguns are cucked on the Zeroing as the Zeroing is on the buckshot, The slug will throw your Zeroing in the trash at further than close range and will regain a bit after mid range.
For the M700 you could have build the lightest one that with the hybrid suppressor and you can ADS for days :)

Cool vid, but the real hero is DVL-10 saboteur with Elcan or Valday, it's cheap for what you get, suppressed, good ergo and you get the 10rnd mag so you really need no pocket bullets or spare mags.

I love the mosin so much that I essentially got so used to the sway of the stick, got mastery on it over multiple wipes and i could contend with all levels of gameplay and gear, but that ov sv-98 is also sweat every time i get it

I think he has too much mouse sensitivy for these zoomed shots, you're supposed to change it to very low if youre aiming with a mouse button etc. when he struggled to get the crosshair onto a head

Lapua Magnum AP looks underperfomed this patch. I don't use them at all, but somehow it isn't oneshot anyone in a chest. Ridiculous situation: i sit still. plasing a camera south of sawmill on Woods, then i was shot by LM AP round. I was hit by three shots (!), i managed to escape, only lost an arm, half of hp and whole chest lvl 4 armor plate. Next my teammate was shot in a hand by same sniper. We escaped, and both found out thaw was AP round. We both do not understand, how we managed to survive this
Before new armor patch I run 10-15 raids with AP bullets against chads - only once it's bugged and didn't kill player. Other it were all oneshots in thorax.
@@rinaldoman3331 ok. So it looks like we meet VERY unlucky sniper, who cannot land shot onto chest, only on hands. But this doesn't explain destroyed armor plate thou.
@@trein4061 because I played night raids with Thermal I had enough time to make perfect shot right into thorax before pmc can see me. He played day maps where Thermal is useless cause it doesn't provide advantage of first early target detection

I love using the lightweight m700 with the black polymer frame. The weight is insanely low on it, and the other stats aint too bad. I wish my level 19 sniper rifles skill would help with the arm stamina a bit because I want to use the t-5000 and SV-98 more.

Good video, however, when you were using the mosin you didnt stop moving until you took a shot, this is a very bad idea because of the way human eyes work, our peripheral vision is designed almost solely to detect movement, so you have a much higher chance to be seen if you are crouched moving around rather than proned staying still

I know this was bolt actions only, but I would've liked to see the MP18 in here, I feel like it would've fit really well.
In all honesty, I agree that the 1k dollar build is a very good build that most of Tarkov's playerbase can run with.
It's affordable, great stats, good range. And hey, if you died, it's not a 4k or 10k loss each time you load up for another run. Definitely a long term investment if you're a good shot.

Higher price means more hackers gunning for you, I’ll take the $10 sniper I stole off a scav. I’ve rarely ran a thermal, but most of the time I decided to I was dead within 2 minutes.

I'm not sure about Tarkov, but Accuracy international rifles MSRP for around 9,900 dollars and most thermal scopes seem to start around 6,000 IRL.

LuL I fought Rashala with a VPO-215 a lot the last couple wipes. I'm generally pretty bored of tarkov a couple weeks after wipe and this becomes my go to gun for just fooling around or working on shooter born even though I'm not going for kappa. As soon as you really start getting the bosses going it always draws other players to the scene anyway.
Never played this game a second in my life always wanted to just got a pc for the first time and my specs should play it well
Calling the TOZ a sniper is a huge stretch. The only real thing it's good for is barrel stuffing legs and turning in for quests 🤣

Love the videos man. Great work, but how would you feel if BSG added ADS settings so for example you aim in and your fov could stay the same or when zooming in on an lpvo it does it +1x zoom each time… because I’d love it.
