I should mention, I really appreciate when you draw out the pathing in fights, it makes it a lot easier to understand for someone newer who doesn't know the maps that well.
Glad to hear this that it was worth the effort! 😅
Yeah, map/extract knowledge is the single most difficult thing about this game. I can research all of the barters, healing mechanics, best ammos, etc, but none will actually matter as much as getting into the game and practicing.
@@RamenStyle as someone who cant afford to get the game but really loves seeing content for it its extremely helpful definitely a great part of your vids
@@rocketp1ggy615bought the game and I dont play.
If you want I can share the acc
@@RamenStylecan you add timestamps
Sniping in this game is probably the most satisfying part of EFT. My personal way of sniping, is always take a leg then tap the head. Countless times I've watched people scramble, then lay down once their leg is gone, and the headshot is easy.
That’s honestly something I should’ve done way more in these 9 days, especially with how much less people are pre-paining. Such a good strat! Thanks for sharing man!
And I 100% agree, no other game has sniping like Tarkov.
Exactly sniping is so satisfying even more if you get that kill
Just the way the enemy goes down the loud sniper shot cracking through the silence of woods the way the gun goes up its just so satisfying
@@RamenStyle Too bad this game is ruined. Script Kiddies, and horrible developers make this game unbearable for 90% of players.
@@whitetshirt2819 tbh ppl like u are even bigger problem the last year.
@@whitetshirt2819I kinda agree, these are not balancing changes they make. The game was balanced and felt like a shooter looter about 3 years ago, but now it’s so slow and wipes often and it’s very annoying…
As a sniper main on EFT, its always fun to watch others who usually use full auto or semi auto weapons switch to bolt action. 😂
Hahaha I love sniping in this game man. When I need a change of pace, there’s nothing like a good bolty raid.
@@RamenStyleI will say, never forget to shoot the legs on someone constantly moving to slow them down and get an easy follow up headshot.
Also, try running a cheap MP7/SR-2M secondary build for those close encounters!
@@alexwendling7144honestly, that’s exactly what I was telling myself while editing this video. Lots of moments where I could’ve gone for legs first!
What is so fun about that?
@@Davidpromasterit like watching someone struggling with something you used to struggle at, it fun to see how you were just like that when starting out
Dude that last kill you needed for woods was me lmao. It was like one of my first few raids ever, my teammate you killed first was my brother showing me the game for the first time. I had no idea where I was, where the nearest extract was, and had no idea where you were shooting me from. All I had on my mind was panic and run with my brother in discord trying to tell me where to go and me describing trees and rocks for my location. Looking back I think and Welcome to Tarkov! 😂
For anyone really looking to get into sniping in Tarkov, a MASSIVE overlooked aspect of it is *Bullet Velocity*. The reason why those shots may have been missing in the first few clips could easily be due to the speed of the bullet and how far / short you have to lead. Personally, i find that 7.62 x 51 (m80, m62, m61 etc) is the easiest to use because of how fast the bullet flies without dropping. Good luck out there snipers :D
I agree, 7.62x51 feels like a freaking laser, i rarely ever even bother to zero because the bullet drop is so minimal
He never zeroed the Mosin in to 100 in the first few clips.
Zero'ing to 100 when fighting within 100 meters can be more counterproductive than not. When using a sniper within 50 meter or less, you'll almost always have to aim higher than what you're shooting at because of how close you are. Once you start talking the 100-150 meter range, then you can aim at the same level as your target. You can test / confirm all of this in the range too :D @@cLab2022
Hey man, I love that you show how frustrating and rewarding this game can be! Love from Brazil!!
Hey, thanks a lot for sharing! Happy to hear you felt that way. It was something I really tried to show in this video. Cheers man!
Brasil mentioned
I feel like the lows in this game make the highs that much higher.
That was some great storytelling & music at the end to finish it. Honestly I think you’re genuinely the person I enjoy watching the most.
This means a lot dude! Genuinely happy to hear this. Lots of new things I tried and learned from previous videos, so I’m glad all the small things came together. Thanks a lot man and glad you enjoyed this ❤
@@RamenStyleman this dude's voice is annoying AF tho😂
RamenStyle, always a pleasure to watch your videos. Great editing, great narating, emotionaly open to talk about your fears and doubts that we all feel in the game. Plus you are so humble. Great job for the quest, well played. Continue to be yourself ! Love from France !
Appreciate the kind words! Thank you! Cheers from the Philippines 🍻
Your vids are just great, made me look at how i approach every raid and take losses way different. Make the game 1000x more enjoyable
This means a lot man, really happy to hear this! Glad the videos help!
Bro, I’m not even into FPS games, but your content had me on the edge of my seat, there were moments I was almost jumping here! It’s incredible to see your dedication to improvement, the challenges you set for yourself, and the insane narrative... Above all, the quality is top-notch. I wholeheartedly agree with your approach to steer clear of ego and showing off; you’re clearly in this for the right reasons. Wishing you a path filled with greatness! Love from Brazil.
Appreciate the kind words. Always means a lot knowing someone from outside the genre still enjoys the video. Much love dude!
love your content man! the storytelling, the highs and lows, the thought process, the strategy and tactics, everything. I hope you had as great time making this as I did watching it. Thanks Ramen
Really appreciate the insight. I love hearing how you guys come along the rollercoaster ride. It was a great time, especially when I started writing up the narration, I felt like this was one of my personal favorites. Thank you as well for watching!
Great content! This was enjoyable to watch, even after the 45 minutes i did not feel a bit bored of the video. Loved that you showed the "low" moments of the game too, seeing also them makes it feel tarkov as it is and not only wins😂 Keep up the awesome work!
Awesome, thank you!
The reason you whiffed, is because your zero is off. You're set to 50, when you NEED to be set to 100. Use the Page UP and Page Down keys to do this.
Gotta appreciate the scav at the end being the greatest wingman to ever live.
LMAOO
Also, glad you made it to the end!
Do you have a time stamp I missed the scav wingman part.
@@Bane_Diesel Last two kills on interchange, no timestamp on hand but maybe I’ll find one later
I Uninstalled tarkov for 9 days straight and it felt good. You should try it.
Bro uninstalled it because he has skilled issues
Skill issue
hey mate, just wanted you say i really appreciate your attitude. You always attribute your death to a better play. You always say GG when you die, and sound like you mean it. Thanks for not being toxic!
One of your best videos to date, imo. I could tell you put in a lot of hard work into making this video. Can’t wait to see what you cook up next!
I appreciate this!
As a very average FPS enjoyer your content is a breath of fresh air for me! I love how you focus on your mental and how that's affecting your outcomes. It really shows how you can always level-up by playing smarter and staying in the right head space. Super inspiring!
Also, your format is great! Your edits really flow into a clear story and your voiceover is on point! Keep being amazing!
I always love a new RamenStyle video. The editing is always amazing but also provides for a good learning experience for me. But I gotta say, the gameplay, commentary, and editing here is absolutely immaculate. You're easily my favorite tarkov youtuber, rest well and I hope you grow quickly.
Happy to see another one of your videos, been watching them for a long time and has taught me so much on being solo!
Awesome, thank you!
In addition to great editing, your perspective on the game and the mentality you take into raid has earned a sub from me! Keep up the great work friend!!!
Thanks you, this means a lot!
9:46 glad you started shooting where the target is going to be and not where they’re at! Awesome shot
Yeah, it takes me a while to get warmed up hehe
Your editing and storytelling made this video super compelling! I was drawn in even as someone who's never played Tarkov before.
bro what a fanstastic video
i watched start to finish
you're really getting great at pacing these long form stories
i look forward to more!
Appreciate this a lot man, thank you!
I like how you explain your experience and decision making in your video. Much more enjoyable than watching Chad's sprint everywhere. Keep the videos coming
I appreciate that!
The best part of this playthrough is the realness. You show the deaths and the kills. These videos are what makes me recommend Tarkov.
oh man, you are rare excellent content creator with a slow a tactical approach and reflexes of a regular human
I love it so much, always waiting for your videos, thank you for your work!
(can you consoider adding a little more goblinlooting your kills? it's kinda satisfying to watch too)
Happy to hear this man!
I’ll definitely keep in mind the whole loot thing for the future for sure. Appreciate the insight!
I found this guy real, I would feel the same emotions as he does. Unlike the other Tarkov's content creators who fight like robots this guy gives feeling that not only me can do mistakes, failing and being afraid of. This definitely gives confidence on going solo PMC raids.
This was thoroughly enjoyable!! Really loves the editing, voiceover and music, the narrative was expertly built-up to a super-satisfying conclusion, thanks for taking the time to put this video together! :)
Happy to hear this man, thank you!
That pistol head shot at 39:37 was my favorite one, it was so damn smooth and his hands went up and he plopped to the floor. Boi got skillz.
Nice job on this video! I came across it from the trending tab!
Did you bot your subs lmao
@@chewbacc17 Of course he did. Either that or he bought an old account and scrubbed it
SBiH is always gonna be one of those quests I would love to complete but unless they make a character that doesn't wipe its just too much effort/time with not enough reward
Been watching your videos since I started playing about a week ago and it's massively helped my gameplay. Accountability has become a HUGE part of my progression and improvement. Always happy to see a new video from you, mate. Keep up the great work!
Glad to hear the videos help man! So cool to hear stuff like this. And I agree with accountability man, it’s something I still try to do until today. Much love!
Legend. Love the content!
Yo man! Appreciate you checking out the video, I’m honoured! Much love dude 🙏
I just love the content bro, keep it coming!
Thanks man! Will always do! I plan to do this thing for a very long time :)
Your editing/style is some of the most unique and entertaining ive seen from any Tarkov youtuber. Ive been binging your vids. thank you!
Very cool, Ramen. Well done.
I don’t know what it is about this game but it’s like an addiction I suck so bad at this but come back every time no other FPS can fulfill what Tarkov does watching these vids make it better
Nice another one of your long format story sniper videos haha
Thanks man!
This was by far one of the best ans captivating tarkov videos I have seen. As a player my self I respect the failure and the lows that you openly project. The hours of losing just for that tiny speck of hope that you can win. Love the content can’t wait for more.
This is amaaaaaaaaaazing.
Hehe thanks Lance!
29:25 Why not to wear glasses in Tarkov
Excellent video, as always :d
LOL
Thank you!
Huge shoutout to BSG for changing the quest to something a lot more fun and engaging. This is the first wipe I truly went for SBIH, because it was way more fun than the usual, "sit in these few spots on each map and pray someone comes by".
Hey Ramen,
just discoverd your channel this week. I've not played EFT this wipe yet, but watching your vids wanna make me start at all.
Love from Germany - keep it up.
Much love man, really appreciate this! Cheers from the Philippines brotha 😄
dude where have you been! I love watching your content and style of play. I watched most of your vids and it has helped me be a better tarkov player for sure. I not longer have solo anxiety and i love playing as a sniper using your style. Keep up the good work!
Just been cooking this up tbh is where I’ve been 😅 but thank you man, really appreciate the love!
A few tips from experience.
If your target is moving and you have little time to take a shot unless you can guarantee the kill don’t take the shot it gives away that they are being watched.
For me the rifle doesn’t really matter but the scope does if the scope doesn’t have a designated cross or dot then I don’t use it. (Patterns like a ^ v ! ) I don’t use but I do use (• + °) hope the use of sub patterns explained it well, to sum it up you need to be able to understand your scope and it’s measurements easily.
Love these kinds of videos I hope to see similar content like this in the future if you enjoy it.
Your storytelling is fantastic, the long way with all your thoughts about this game makes this super entertaining ! +1 Subs. Really good quality content.
One of, if not, the best made Tarkov video uve made. Video had me on the floor at times😭
Yo dude this really means a lot. There’s a lot of subtle new things I tried in this video, and I’m glad it came together and you think it’s the best on the channel. Much love man, made my night ❤️
I thoroughly enjoyed this one man. I’ve been watching you for a while now, I’m really happy to see you growing and getting the views you deserve. Your content is clean, well edited, and the pacing is just right. Keep it up bro!
As someone who absolutely hates playing this game, I have never been so hyped for a guy getting kills in a video game before
Haven't been keeping up with Tarkov recently but these vids are always nice to enjoy some good gameplay and perspective. Love the refreshing style of play. Keep up the good work!
This means a lot, thank you!
36:39 This moment would have been the last drop of pain for me...
It for sure was near that for me lol
This was really well edited and I liked how you explained your thoughts.
Man I love your vids. Your play style is exactly what I enjoy watching. Wish your were live more often. Keep it up ❤
Appreciate this a lot man!
This is why I love DayZ. You shot a man with 10 pistol shots. A shotgun and a sniper and he just about dies… I’ve never played this game but DayZ just seems so much more tactical and realistic
Man, your choice in music and commentary are some of the best of all the tarkov content in English.
Lighthouse is a really easy sniping map when you learn the spawns and common pmc routes.
Those last 2 kills on Reserve were so cool. I bet that second guy heard you crouch walking and said "bro you crouch walking?" and other guy said, "yeah I am" completely oblivious to you.
GOD! That cottage kill on Shoreline! the mind games!
Man its so good to see how a week of sniping can make you so much beter take the first encounter 2 a notice to the last.
when you camp like that (0:25) instead of just rotating with your mouse (This causes your character to pivot and make sound) - move a little and rotate while moving, so your character doesn't pivot - no sound of it, only the quiet sound of steps
Great video ! Great tips and fun to watch, ivent done shooter born because i hate boltis but this is the kind of motivation to get it done asap!
Hey dude!! Thanks man, really appreciate this 🙏
I love your videos, love the conceptualisations and contexts. Great story telling and its fun to to see someone play the game creatively. Cheers for the vids!!!
This means a lot, thank you!
Love your content
Narration as challenger and adequate soundtrack usage at certain situation were so immersive! Keep up the good content mate❤
Hey man I never played tarkov and watching your content has light a fire in me I love your content keep it up
Always appreciate it when I find out someone who doesn’t play enjoys the video. So thank you for this!
Fantastic story telling as always! I appreciate the use of music as well.
Thank you!
Great editing with the music, one of the videos you can enjoy even if you don't play the game.
Means a lot man, thank you!
Hi there. Just wanted to say thank you for your videos. I'm new to the game, so they made me actually think while playing. Last week I was getting into rly bad fights, wasn't thinking about my positioning and planning anything. Now I'm feeling much more confident and comfortable playing. So one more time huge thank you. Can't wait to see more
Well i think "Greatness" of a content creator is not determined by how good the person is at a game, but at how presentable and put together the content is.
And this here is top tier enjoyable entertainment for the biggest chunk of the tarkov community. :)
So, well done and thanks - once again. ;)
You show the beauty and heartache that is Tarkov. I love what you're doing brother, keep it up!
Appreciate the kind words man, thank you!
19:15 dude's the Sherlock Holmes of Tarkov! Spotting the bag was oof
🕵️♂️
Usually I enter vids pretty much expecting nothing, doom scrolling etc, something that runs on 2nd monitor. But your vid actually got me to stop playing that game and watch this very well put together vid, keep it up man, I enjoyed it alot!
that bit about losing the 2 players really made me think. How many times have we done a raid thinking we never ran into an enemy, only for them to have been watching us through a scope the entire time?
great vid man, had me hooked right to the last second
Glad you enjoyed!
last 3 wipes shooter born has been so fun to do. I love bolt action sniping.
hard agree! bolties are fuun
That's so cool. I love the strategy. Being a sniper can be really difficult because your sidearm will usually not be a help in close fights. And you have to strategize accordingly.
Hey Bro, I love so much how to make this video, and every explanation about the situations. The storytelling and music is so amazing too! Nice Work!
Thank you so much 😀
That fight headed up to sniper rock was both of you throwing everything but the kitchen sink at each other lmao
Hahahaha no better way to put it man 😂
@@RamenStylei laughed so hard I woke up my toddler 😂 great video btw
Protip: zero your scope to 100 or 150m. You'll still technically also have a second zero at 50m and you won't have to comepnsate for bullet drop as much (or at all under 200m).
You were slaying them bro. Good show!
Appreciate it!!
Love the video dude! Great story of your tarkov quest!
Hey, thanks!
19:24
nice "i found him" bro
seems legit
Dude I love your content so much. It makes me want to play Tarkov again but I'm not confident enough with most maps to play on my own. Maybe one day!
Thank you for this man!
what an enjoyable watch, thank you mate. Not only did I enjoy it, I picked up tips for my vids.
Great Video man! always enjoy watching what you put out
Appreciate it OX!!
Your narrative was top notch! I am not even a tarkov player yet i was soo immersed in to the whole thing after like ten minutes i just got my self some popcorn and watch the whole thing like a movie. Also your narration was suprsingly inspiring as well. Great video!
This is why I love Tarkov, even as a new solo player and total noob at the game, this tension in fights or even just looting something nice is indescribable. Wish I was better haha
i completely respect that u dont stream so much anymore but miss ur streams… on the other side i love ur story driven videos and thanks to you and your videos im much more encouraged to try it out each time i have that damn solo anxiety as except of few ocasions im solo all the time and im oscilating between complete confidence to rock like a king and beeing completely scared and stucked in a bush afraid of each noise even that i dont hear 😂😂😂
Thank you man, really appreciate the understanding. I’m glad the content helps you out a lot! Been meaning to get a couple of streams in soon too. Need my livestream fix 😅
Well done, Ramen. Another super entertaining video. Hope you had a great time making this one!!
Thank you man!! I had a ton of fun. One of the more fun edits I've done in a while! Cheers man!
How sweet of BSG to throw you the distraction scav assist 😂I'm surprised that scav didn't get you there at the getaway.
Lmao for real, sometimes BSG gives me secret teammates but I pay for them with a couple of Head, Eyes prior 😂
Hey man! I just started getting back into Tarkov, realizing it wiped (I know it was ages ago) and now I'm starting to get you recommended again - amazing to see you're still going strong! Keep it up mate!
Per your mosin issue look at the MOA stat. Basically that's how big your aim point is at 100 yards in inches. For some reason in Tarkov they use the radius not the diameter for their # so you have to double it. Meaning a mosin with a 2 MOA actually shoots a 4 inch spread at 100m and an 8inch spread at 200m. A DVL and T5000 Are about 0.5
This compounds with ammo. LPS has -10% accuracy, (meaning hit radius x 1.2) while m80 has neutral accuracy. So your mosin is shooting in a dinner plate sized TEN INCH RADIUS at 200m while your dvl shoots a golf ball sized spread.
God help you if you use flea market (scav grade) mosins because they're going to be low condition too making it EVEN WORSE.
39:35 that must be the most satisfying oneshot ive ever seen in any game
i enjoy the change up on this task for being bolt action only, and with any distance for this task now makes it much more manageable. good shooting
I love when Ramen drops a video! A man of the people of tarkov for sure
Appreciate you man!
That one firefight at the start where the dude literally ate a whole mag of 9mm and several 12g shells was fucking hilarious. Bro was munching on them like they were cookies
Just like real sniping and combat, if you are shooting out of a window, you need to be far back into the actual room to avoid being seen very easily. Same with ledges.
using only a bolt rifle improved my shot consistently in a massive way. playing in the context of if i miss or die improved every aspect of my gameplay and translated to how i use my AR/DMR kits in a helpful way. My positioning, decision making, and overall shot accuracy was greatly improved after maining all the tarkov shooter/SBIH quests for a couple of weeks. I really enjoy using the t500 loud in any context from close range to long range. Its so satisfying to hit that headshot with the t5000 against a player 10 m away pushing me w an m4, or wiping a squad with back to back one taps
Great video bud - the thoughtful way in which you present your videos and the production quality is top notch!
I love that shotgun in your sniper+pistlol walkthrough
As someone who loves the mosin all I’d like to say is. Skill issue
😂 video was great my friend
You. Are. Not. Wrong. Mosin is defo a skill issue for me, I couldn't figure it out. I use the T-5000 too much in the past so it's what I'm used to heh
But thank you my man, glad you enjoyed it!
