In a previous video, I used a dollhouse kit to create a modern farmhouse. In this video, I created 22+ furniture and decor items for this mini space including a .75 inch long live edge dining table, a vintage style refrigerator, sofa, leaning ladder, wall art, a fireplace, teeny tiny boxwood wreaths...Things got a little out of hand but I had a ton of fun. I'll be finishing the top floor in a future video.

You’re a gem among us. I absolutely love that you held on to a stick you found last year!! When I was 15, I picked up little square chunks of broken glass from the ground at a bus stop. I’m 55 now and still waiting for the right project😂
I love that! I wonder what you'll use them in.
I pick up things off the ground regularly now 😆
My favorite room of the house are the kitchen and bathrooms for some reason. Doll house bathrooms are built like a small linen closet so I always expand them to fit my idea of them. The kitchens should be airy and full at the same time. You do great work Shyra. Have a great day
Thank you so much! I think the kitchen is my favorite as well.
I love miniature kitchens and this tiny farmhouse is, as the cool kids say, gaggy ❤
So true!
Love the wood table
It was SO easy!
Love the fireplace
Thank you so much!
I'm watching this with my mouth hanging open😮😁
Thank you 😊
The stack of plates amazing, I can’t even list everything I love here! Your creative energy is contagious
I appreciate that! Go make some minis!
@@queencityminisI can only dream of the ability to work with this scale! So amazing
My goodness that fireplace and the fridge are phenomenal ❤
Thank you 😊
I have died from cuteness overload! Freaking awesome!
Thank you 😊
This is my 4th time watching this video and it just amazes me how creative you are. Each time I’ve watched it, I’ve taken something new away from it. The chair backs you made that you said looked like little finger nails made me think of 2packs of little girl nails at the Dollar Tree. I actually bought them for the packaging, not the nails, but now I have a use for those too…!!!!!!!!
That's so cool! I've purchased fake nails for the plastic trash as well.
This also could have worked for a beautiful church!❤
That's true! Thank you
Oh My Goodness!! You Are So Gifted!! 💗🎶
Wow, thank you! I appreciate that
Really amazing. The way you can make things out of all the raw materials is very inspiring. I’d be measuring, cutting, redoing and completely overthinking each piece. 😊
Don't overthink it! Just keep it moving.
Oh my goodness! This is so flippen cute.
❤️🇿🇦
Thank you :) Imagine how cute this would be displayed in 1:12 dollhouse?
This is so insanely adorable!!
Thank you! It's so cute
omigosh, hinges! lol. adorable!
It's over the top but so necessary at the same time 😆
I love your content
Thank you so much 😊
Really enjoying this build. However, I can't watch while I'm crafting my diorama since I end up staring at the screen and not getting anything done. lol
My sincerest apologies 😆
Simply wonderful!!!
Many thanks!
Just found your videos! I’ve done 1:24 scale kits with a lot of customizations, I’m waiting on a 1:144 scale house now that I want to customize into a cottagecore type house. You’ve got so many great ideas I didn’t even think of, I’ll be watching all of your videos! I’m 65- hope my eyes can handle it 😂
That's so much fun! I'm glad you found my channel and you're making minis. Life is good!
There’s just too many impressive items! I noticed the beamed ceiling! I’m amazed at how small you can work‼️🤩
Thank you!
My GOD u are TALENTED!! My dumb ass would breathe really hard by accident,& everything would just disappear!! This is absolutely fascinating to watch! Amazing job!
🤣 It happens to the best of us! I did drop several things and had to hunt them down on the floor. I also found a piece of art attached to my shirt.
Love the live edge table! Cant be easier LOL
It really is! I love when things are so simple but make a big impact.
You are so creative, I could never work with such small pieces. I love watching you create
Thank you so much! It is definitely tricky
I'm in love with the first floor! ❤
Thank you 😊
love the living room and the bedroom best but it all look amazing
Thank you :) I love the tiny knife and the live edge dining table the most.
That was brilliant
Thank you so much 😊
I am amazed at how you work with things so tiny❤
Thank you! 😊
I’m amazed at your creativity!
Wow, thank you!
Omg I could never do that small items! Love it
Thank you 😊
I make dollhouses too. It's my favorite hobby. Thank you for this amazing video
It's my favorite hobby too :) Thank you!
There is absolutely nothing that you make that isn’t truly gorgeous. I soooooo appreciate your creativity and your ability to turn a stick into a castle. I am SO glad I found your channel. I have been binge watching your videos for a couple weeks now. I have watched some of them multiple times. I told you this in another comment, but I LOVE your narration. It is soft, quiet and extremely helpful. So many tutorials think they have to go at Mach 2 and they make me feel anxious instead of relaxed and motivated like YOUR narration. 😊
Aww, thanks so much! The voiceover is so tedious, it's my least favorite part. But I think it adds a lot to the videos
What a wonderful job, you did!!! I love how you made your own furniture and other stuff!!❤❤❤😊😊😊
Thank you! 😊 There are more videos for the upstairs.
@@queencityminis Heading that way!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love it all
Thank you! This is a tricky scale to work in. It's easy to drop whatever you just made.
So very many ideas! Thank you. I am inspired.
You are so welcome!
I love your tiny details. Cant believe how small and beautiful it is. I’m soimpressed.
Thank you so much!
So fun and relaxing to watch.
Thank you ❣️
This is amazing!
Thank you 😊
Your amazing!
You are! Thank you 😊
This is amazing, you’re very talented. I myself could never do this…..my eyes just aren’t good enough.
This is a tough scale to work in. Thank you!
Super inspiring
Thank you 💝
I live your creativity and the use of everyday items. Tku, rosana
Thank you! I love using everyday materials and trash to make minis.
Very cute
Thank you! I'm working on a new 1:144 scale project now but it's the outside and the yard with gardens. It is really coming along!
Please please do a 144th scale Bali over water bungalo resort!!! I'm dying to see the detail you could do with that!! 🌊
That's the coolest idea! I wasn't familiar with that, so I googled it. Gorgeous 😍
This is insanely tiny!!!❤
I know! 1:144 is wild, but people make even smaller minis.
Really creative - Well Done!
Thank you :)
Wow, so awesome and intricate.
Thank you :) I'm looking forward to finishing the upstairs and adding some simple curb appeal out front.
I am mesmerised watching you work. I must use some of your ideas to finish a tiny dolls house for a dolls house. Thank you for sharing your wonderful insight and ideas to achieve wonderful small things 🙏🏻😊
Thank you so much! I have another 1:144 scale project coming out within the next couple weeks. Instead of the inside, I focused on landscaping for this project.
It's a miniature dollhouse for your dollhouse!! 😮😮❤❤
It's so cute 🥰
you are my new favorite RUclips miniaturist and I've been following Bentley House for years!
Thank you so much 🤗 BHM inspired me to start a channel
Omg you think of every detail. Its amazing
Thank you so much 😀
I had to come back and see these videos again- the farmhouse ones. I just started my own super tiny kit and wanted to come back to your videos to see how your creative miniature- genius mind created stuff. (Your creative genius- miniature mind, wait, that didn't sound right...that was a compliment!) 🤣
Hahaha 🤣 Miniature mind does sound like an insult but I get it! I hope your little project turns out great. That sounds like fun.
Oh my soul you know I can watch you all day. I love everything 👏👏👏
Yay! Thank you so much! I appreciate that 😁
Incredible!!!! 🤩🤩🤩👍 I loved how you gave the sofa a 'sat in' look. Perfect!
Thank you! 😊
I love it
Thank you 😊
Holy cow, it’s so cute. Also, I LOVE your dry humor! 😆
Thank you :) Now I need to watch the video back to see which bit of dry humor you may be referencing 😆
The part where you stop to check for comments 😅
Ha! Glad you appreciate that. Meanwhile, I responded to this comment 4 minutes later so I wasn't kidding.
Omg you’re wild! So many good ideas and tips. You fit like 100 different crafts in 13 min, kudos! Can’t wait to see what you do with the tiny attic. I really liked all of it!
Thank you! I also made a rug and a wall mirror I didn't show. The rug was just paper and the mirror was a jump ring glued to aluminum tape and topped with Dimensional Magic
I applaud you for working in such a small scale! Your work is amazing 💜💜💜
This was my second time working in 1:144. I assumed I wouldn't like it but it's really fun.
The little wreaths...OMG be still my heart...so cute. Love this whole project :)
Thank you! I should have mentioned their boxwood wreaths. I hope nobody thinks they're Christmas wreaths 😆
So cool! To work this small must take a lot of patience.
It does! It takes a lot of time just to find the tiny pieces you drop
@@queencityminis I understand. I’ve been there.
Wow! So tiny, and gorgeous! Your mind is hyper-creative (positive connotation)! Wish I could be as creative in 1:144 scale.
Thank you! It can be a tricky scale to work with but it's also easier in a way because things are so tiny. If I put a couple beads and paper plates on a 1:12 scale shelf, that would not work.
@@queencityminis True. I guess I'd have to get used to how to construct the items...
@@tinynina76 My favorite scale so far has been 1:48 (my Witch's Cottage). I haven't tried 1:24 though and I think that will probably be my new favorite scale. 1:12 is great though because there are already so many pieces available to buy so you don't have to scratch build everything.
I love your video! I'm working on a 1:144 scale house. This has given me a lot of great ideas
Awesome! Have so much fun
Beautiful work 👍🏻
For your poor fingers and hands. Get O’Keefes working hands cream. I find it amazing 👍🏻
Thanks for the tip! I wash my hands a lot. I do aerial silks, Lyra, & pole. I can't lotion them often or I'll fall off the apparatus.
You are amazing, love watching you, you make it look soooo easy!!
Thanks so much 😊
This is crazy cool!!❤
Thank you :)
I would love to make stuff this small but would hsve trouble seeing it in real life, let alone making it. I did try to make a dollhouse for a dollhouse a while back, but the less said about the outcome of that, the better lol!
You could always make a partially built dollhouse for a dollhouse. Most of us have half-finished dollhouses kicking around 😉
So much packed in there. I kept hearing "so I baked it with my heat gun...". You can DO that with polymer clay? Wow. Everything is so cute and much bigger on my screen than it is in real life, and that's mind boggling. I love that wooden table even though it was relatively simple, it's such a statement piece. But the kitchen counter and the shelves with their contents really makes it look lived in. Haha, I'd love to see an ant crawling around in there
I only bake polymer clay in the oven if it's thicker than 1/4 inch.
I love that idea! I'll have to find an ant volunteer this summer to crawl around and show how small everything is
@@queencityminis that really would show the size, or maybe a ladybug
@@recoveringsoul755 oh, that's super cute. A ladybug it is! As soon as the house is finished and I see a ladybug, I'm taking a video and some photos
@@queencityminis now you know how big to make the tub!!
@@recoveringsoul755 😂 a big, round tub
Omg you are so creative! I love the sofa
Thank you!! 😊 I don't work with polymer clay very often but I think it was the perfect material for that little sofa.
You are amazing. You have given me inspiration for a mouse house in a hole in the side of a riverbank - NOW I can see a way to make their furniture. I am going to put a 1:12 picnic scene on top of the riverbank then this teeny tiny mini scene to catch the eye lower down. I don’t suppose you could make this scene so I can copy your genius ideas?????
That sounds adorable! I have a lot of projects going on and I'm moving, so I can't commit to that. Sorry! Make it and let me know how it turns out.
Found you a couple days ago and absolutely love your builds.
Welcome! I hope you have fun catching up on my videos.
All of it looks great but the kitchen wins imo
I love the kitchen, especially the teeny tiny knife and the wall shelves
U should make that bottle at the end do more micro diy
Thank you! I will for sure
I love the open floor plan (my fav is the kitchen) - the Smeg fridge is adorable!
The fridge was one of the easiest things to make. The idea just popped into my head. I was initially planning to do a stainless steel fridge to match the dishwasher and oven.
@@queencityminis I loved the smeg fridge too. I wish I had a real one. Pink.
@@ghoulgoil5029 Me TOOOOOOO!
@@queencityminis The stainless steel fridge would have been nice, but the Smeg just put the sprinkles on top.
This is so so adorable! I especially loved the kitchen!!
Thank you :) I really love the kitchen too. The tiny knife Fran Sussman taught me how to make is the cutest thing ever and I love the wall shelves.
@@queencityminis Plus, now I feel like making thousands of real wooden little tables!!
@@clara945 Thank you! I am so happy with the live edge dining table. I made it in literally just a couple mins. It was so easy and so so cute.
Your imagination, attention to detail and patience are amazing! I was especially impressed by your use of staples as table legs!!!
Thank you very much! I got the idea to use staples as table legs from Fran Sussman. I took a class with her making a kitchen in 1:144 scale. She was the teacher. Her website is somelikeitsmall.com
Gosh, this is so small ! With so BIG ideas !!
Thank you! 1:144 is the hardest scale to work in for me
@@queencityminis oh yeah !! 😵🧐
The sound effects made me laugh!!
Thank you 😆
unglaublich gut !! 👍🏻👍🏻💞💞
Thank you :)
You are incredible! I'd have never thought to use staples as table legs for this!! 💕
I learned that from Fran Sussman who specializes in 1:144 scale. I took a class with her and made a tiny kitchen. Truth be told, I only signed up because there were no other openings left in any other class. I had never worked in such a small scale and thought I wouldn't like it. It was such a blast!
@@queencityminis this is absolutely amazing. I just subscribed, so I'm catching up on your previous videos, and I'm definitely looking be forward to what's ahead! 🤗
@@jennip8585 That's awesome 😁 Welcome! Enjoy
Love these videos! Wish the playlist was in order tho 😁🤍🤍🤍🤍
Oh damn! That stinks. Idk how to fix that
I've just ran across your tutorials a few days ago, and I'm just now seeing this incredible video! This is amazing, incredible, fantastic and I am in awe of your work! The detail is just so detailed.
Thank you so much!!!
Bless your heart your finger look just like mine! Mine crack horribly when I am doing crafting on a regular basis, which is most of the time lol. Have you ever tried new skin the paint on liquid that’s kind of like a nail polish? It really burns going on but oh my goodness it really helps, keep you from going out every time you bump the split in your finger.
I have! It works so well. I wash my hands so much, they dry out. I'll try that if they crack again this winter. Thank you
So amazing!!😍 You're so talented! I'm obsessed with your videos now😁
Thank you so much :)
Oh, I forgot- I loved all of it, no favorite part, but if you put a 1:144 scale gun to my head, I'd have to say that it'd be the shelves with the dishes, canisters and all that you put on them.
Hahaha 🤣 I really do love the shelves, too. It really adds a lot to the space. Thank you
🎉I'm making a romantic castle kit boy it's fiddly I have started to change it up as its all pink lol 🎉
Haha that's awesome
@@queencityminis you got me brave enough to do it lol xx
A job very well done. I love what you did with fireplace, couch and wood bench. Pretty impressive considering the scale you had to work on.
Thank you! I always assumed I wouldn't like 1:144 but turns out, I've loved every scale I've worked in so far. It's challenging since things are so tiny but it's also easier in other ways since items don't need as much detail because they're so small
Oh, so cute! So many good ideas. I'm a new subscriber 😊
Thank you :) Welcome to my channel. Check out my latest video where I added a bedroom upstairs for this little dollhouse.
One of my favorite scales!
Love it. So clever! 💖👍
My first foray into 1:144 scale was a class I took with Fran Sussman. I didn't think I'd enjoy it but it was a blast. This farmhouse is my second stab at it. So much fun. I'll finish up the top floor soon.
Bravo! I'm motivated to make some furniture for a 1:144 house I put together. One thing I wanted to tell you-please be careful shining the UV light on your skin. Repeated exposure can lead to skin cancer.
Go for it! I thought I'd hate 1:144 scale, but I had so much fun with it :)
Thank you for that tip! I never thought about it before, but I just read an article a few days ago about the dangers of UV light. People who get gel manicures have a higher rate of a rare type of cancer, probably due to the UV exposure. It causes cell damage and death. I'll be careful from now on.
This is amazing! Great job! I haven't worked in 1:144 yet, but I do plan on making a doll house for my dollhouse. I will have to rewatch this video to get some tiny ideas!
Fantastic! On the one hand, it's a difficult scale to work in because everything is so tiny but that also makes some things easier to make. For example, if you cut a square of fabric and glued it to a 1:12 scale sofa, it would look awful but it looks adorable in this scale! I think the key is filling the space. Visual noise is the secret
On another video you mentioned using aluminum foil to shape curtains and throws. Then you mentioned aluminum tape. My questions are: do you use the latter for both? If not how does regular aluminum foil stick between curtain and lining? Is "heavy duty" foil tape for electrical (without the mesh fiber) what I should get if I do use that for shaping curtains? Thanks for all you do. Your videos are well done and very helpful.
I like Little Gretchen's Workshop's method for making curtains. You wet them with watered down glue and pin them to shape them. She uses cardboard covered in packing tape, I believe.
Fantastic crazy details as per usual! Love it!
Thank you! The top floor should be interesting. I am 99% sure I'm creating a bathroom. Sorta dreading the idea of making a teeny toilet and tub 😬
It’s so cute! The details are incredible. I love this! It’s so tiny. I cannot pick a favorite. Everything looks so good. Awesome job! Looking forward to the upstairs!
Thank you so much 🥰 I'm trying to decide whether I should create a bathroom upstairs...I'm not sure how I'd pull it off.
@@queencityminis a claw foot tub! I bet bathrooms one of those things do we need in a mini? But it would be interesting to see what you come up with.
@@ghoulgoil5029 Yes, a clawfoot tub! It would be so sweet and cute but definitely a pain to make. Maybe not though. I know I'm definitely doing it.
@@queencityminis I've got a regular scale dollhouse with only 4 rooms and I was thinking maybe an outhouse to deal with that. But love the clawfoot tub idea. I was thinking about clawfoot tubs one day, went to the store for groceries, but a store I don't usually go to. They have other stuff besides food, like a toy isle. But I got hooked by the dishware. They had a whole bunch of dishes just white ceramic, but one quirky dish was shaped like a clawfoot bathtub. So I had to get it. It's too big for my house, it could be a butter dish, you can microwave it so I can heat up dip in it, I could put a few tealight candles in there, I could put it in the bathroom as a soap dish, on a desk to hold paper clips or rubber bands, in a craft area to use for whatever. I don't know why they made a bathtub dish for a kitchen but OK.
I am a new subscriber you are amazing
Thanks for subbing! Welcome 🤗
You have comments now! 💕
Very true! It worked 😉
Wow that stuff is tiny. How do you see that 🤣 I can't find my glasses without my glasses 😂
I own some lighted magnifying glasses but I don't use them. My eyesight is good up close. I do need glasses for distance though
@@queencityminis oh I'm very very very near sighted. Like Velma when she loses her glasses near sighted 🤣
Hi, how did you get into miniature building? You have awesome ideas, love your videos.
Thank you! I grew up absolutely loving Barbies and all things little like Polly Pocket. I sporadically made miniatures over the years as an adult but never had a dollhouse.
Then, 18 months ago in December 2020, a friend of mine was moving and gave me a vintage dollhouse kit. I started assembling the house and decided to buy minis to furnish it. I ended up buying 13 large boxes of miniatures from a woman for $210 😲
I have been making minis since I got that house. I ultimately sold it for $25 because I was overwhelmed by wallpaper and paint options 😆. I assembled it, installed the wood floor and shingles, and then sold it.
I really wanted a RUclips channel like Bentley House Minis so I started learning how to film and edit and started my channel 5 months ago. It has been such a blast!

😂
0:00 what is your glass? You join is?! You making is all?
Hi! The dollhouse is from a kit that I modified. I made all the furniture from scratch.
So detailed! Where did you get your 1:144 scale plate pattern printable?
From a Fran Sussman class
