The Denneroll gave me extreme vertigo. Started out moderate but became severe after about 5 or 6 times of use and had to stop. My right ear has been clogged for years (about as long as neck problems). Thoughts?
Hmm...did it give you vertigo or more dizziness? Dizziness could happen, but vertigo would be unusual and would warrant more testing to see if is appropriate for your specific case.
@@drjonsaunders I thought vertigo and dizziness were the same thing? I had crystals years ago but it eventually went away. Thinking the Denneroll stirred it up again but not sure. My chiropractor said to refrain from Denneroll for now and that dizziness should go away. I also scheduled an appt with my ENT to get his take.
Thank you for the video, very informative! Is this alone enough for the correction of straight neck? Or is the regular adjustments necessary for results?
hey guys. When patient start to use denneroll due to bad posture, stiff neck, constant headaches, military neck. Is it expected to have more stiff neck and more headaches when we start to fix posture? I jumped into fixing posture full throttle, use denneroll 4x20minutes neck + 4x20minutes upper back a day and after 3 days i have to admit i am pretty stiff everywhere and headaches due to stiff neck are worse. Can i consider it as a "adjustment period"? (on denneroll i feel fine, no redflags) Another thing is, when patient is 37yo, little bit polyarthrosis but nothing serious, is it still posible to get good shape? thank you
Yes it can certainly cause some discomfort, please speak to your chiropractor, as you need to slowly increase time on it, while you are being monitored. This the reason there are indications for its use and that sizing is important when it has been prescribed. Best wishes.
Unfortunately they are not available on Amazon as they need to be sized properly, shown where the placement of the peek should be and finally making sure ot the appropriate for the curve consideration...you need to find a provider who can do all of this for you...best wishes.
@drjonsaunders ty Dr. Saunders! I appreciate this! Do you think this is common knowledge for any chiropractor, if I ask them to measure me for one, with my curvature in consideration? I've seen chrios before and none of them ever offered such a device.

There are a few reasons that this may occur, the most common one is to make sure the placement is correct - did your x-rays indicate it should be placed at the top, middle, or bottom of your neck? Best to confirm with your chiropractor that it is the correct size and placement and it is indicated for your underlying condition. All the best!
@@ygbodybuilder3023 There are a number of reasons - for example here are just a few: if there was a spinal deformity causing the hump like scoliosis, if there was significant forward head posture, if there was an old thoracic compression fraction - these are only a few. Best to ask your health provider to be sure it would be indicated...hope this helps!
@@ygbodybuilder3023 Typically a chiropractor would be best suited for something like this, especially one who is trained in posture correction techniques, or a good physiotherapist as well.
I have neck pain and so I had x-rays taken. I was diagnosed with the following.... "FINDINGS: 7 views of the cervical spine. Seven non-rib bearing cervical vertebrae. Straightening and slight reversal of the cervical lordosis. No fracture or malalignment of the cervical spine. Anterior atlantodental articulation and bilateral atlantoaxial articulations intact. Multilevel degenerative disc disease, greatest at C6-C7. Secondary to uncovertebral spurring and facet hypertrophy, there is moderate to severe left and mild to moderate right foraminal stenosis at C2-C3, moderate to severe left and moderate right foraminal stenosis at C3-C4, mild to moderate bilateral foraminal stenosis at C4-C5, mild bilateral foraminal stenosis at C5-C6. The prevertebral soft tissues are unremarkable." My doctor just wants to give my pain killers but I would rather treat the cause rather than simply mask the symptom with drugs. Will using this device help to improve my condition?
