    Nicely done mate done mine a couple of weeks back took my symposer apart was shocked it had failed didn’t even notice any issues lol

    Very useful video. Thanks for the info as it's my next job. What I can do pal is advice on is that oil you can see from the timing belt cover @ 1.01min looks like mine did when the seal had gone! I would look to see if the timing belt is wet or contaminated.

    The symposer works by having a flexible membrane inside which vibrates from boost pressure and that creates a noise which is piped into the cabin via the hose going to up towards the back of the dash.
    I’ve removed mine using a blanking cap so you don’t have the extra piece of hose still connected.
