The masked man is pretty clever. A similar idea is to take an extra collar and weld either a huge washer to it or a small weight plate to it. Basically it's the same idea but not everyone welds and paying someone to do it isn't very economical. I think this is a great idea! Many have a saw and a drill...
The objective answer to "What is the lightest wood" is Balsa wood, since it has the lowest density. However, the price of that wood can be quite expensive. I did my blocks from regular "2 by 8" lumber, which for sure wasn't the lightest choice, but even still the weight of the full-size blocks is just 2 kg each. I don't think there is even wood that would give you a higher weight than that, so if 2 kg (max) is light enough for you then I don't think you need to worry too much about what wood it is.
Great video I’m going to copy what you have done but can you plz tell me what length of the spin lock part is on your bar as I’m wanting to have adjustable up to 50 kg like yours but I’ve notice all bars have different lengths , thanks 👍
I can measure them the next time I visit this place. I do not live in this house anymore, so can't measure them immediately. Eventually the needed length of the dumbbell depends of the width of the plates you use.
Sorry for missing your comment. I bough them from one Finnish online company, which doesn't sell the longer (45 cm long) dumbbell anymore. This company was www.gofitness.fi
Not really if the weights are heavy, since the wood blocks only weight 1 kg. Like you don't even notice then, and if you do you can just grip the dumbbells lower so that you are now grappling from the center of mass for sure.
Don't want to get too personally involved with this RUclips thing, nor people who I already know to find my channel. I like to live my life with low profile and doodle with stuff to maximize my peace of mind, so I figured that this type of anonymous mask channel would be ideal for me. I have noticed that when I tie my personality to things it just leads to an unhealthy relationship with it where the thing ends up consuming my life and soul to the extend that I kind of lose my peace of mind, which now that I have found it, is very important to me.
Nice incline bench my friend with 55 very good 💪

Actually brilliant, this can be used for microloading as well
you can also put a tennis ball on the end
not heavy
Brilliant👍
What kind of wood is best and lightest weight? I don't think it is good to have extra 5 kilos on one side imbalanced.

@@510bronson The length of one of the plate holding sides is 15.5 cm, aka the length of the spin lock part
