Installing Nitto NT55G2 tires on the cammed Charger R/T. The front size I opted for was 255/45/20, and the rears are 275/40/20.

I had a pair of NT555 G2’ on my R/T when I first bought it. I enjoyed them! But now I have Pirelli’s all around

How many miles did you get out of them?

@@DonnySRT So, they were already on the rear of the car when I bought them. (Just the rear) so I’m not sure if they had 100% tread on them But I think after taking them to the track, doing burnouts, and other hooligan stuff I got about 10,000-12,000 miles out of them in the 1 year that I had them before I got new tires. They probably had about 70-80 percent tread left.

G2s are my favorite for daily driving! They were nicer than my pilot sports on wet roads. Doing digs on them is hard tho 😅

Yes - the G2s are actually a significant grip upgrade from the Toyos. You can imagine how bad I was spinning with the old tires....

The 555R2s are a good summer tire. I’ve had them in the past. Like you said, you have to understand what they are and drag radials they are not. 😂
