    I am super late to your journey, but found you while starting my own. Currently battling the mental, physical, and financial stress of trying to have my first child. Currently in the phase of being angry at my body, angry at the costs, and angry that some people accidentally get pregnant while I am going into debt trying to just see a positive ovulation test. I know I need to alter my mindset, but its so challenging. Congrats on YOUR success.

      @@kaitlinbell9373 please keep going and don’t give up!! I can relate to the resentment to your body for not doing what it’s suppose to do, each time you try each cycle keeps giving you another chance, the odds eventually will be in your favor 🤍 it’s a draining time, I would obsess about it every chance I got, it pretty much took over my life until I got my baby. Hang in there, do the opposite and keep attacking the failure. I have 3 kids now since I never gave up!

    Wow thank you soo much because i have gone to fertility specialist and they r not telling well ur progesterone is not high enough. They gave me the fertility drugs would help and ye they had me on estradiol and progesterone but not telling me that this may be a factor. But now I can work on making my progesterone higher and I have severe allergies which makes me build a lot of mucus that may be hostile for pregnancy and taking Clomid at the time could make that worse. Thank you soo much!!

    My daughter just turned 26 a few days ago and she has never gotten pregnant. Dr said all her tests were normal. There has to be something off or she would have gotten pregnant years ago. She just did her first round of Clomid. The app said she OV'd. She had a peak on the CB advanced when the days prior was an empty circle but the cheapy strips came up neg. This whole journey is confusing and frustrating for her and even me because she wants to be a mom so badly. She has been tracking BBT for 5 months and it only showed one Ovulation in Jan without clomid or anything.

    HI!! So happy to find your videos as I am going to start my IUI journey. Quick question for you, I have constant low progesterone as well and the month i took 200mg vaginal progesterone once a night & 2.5 mg of Letrozole, my level was still only at a 9.4 so my question is, did you do progesterone more than once a day and what mg did you take?

    • @meetingthemiones
      @meetingthemiones  3 года назад +4

      Hey! During the cycle that I conceived, I actually was taking 100MG of vaginal in the morning, then 100MG Vaginal around 5pm, and then because I had left over oral progesterone, I took one pill also that was 100MG, so all together I was taking 300MG! The only reason I didn't take more of the vaginal was because I was paying everything out of pocket and it was very expensive vs the oral progesterone, but I very much feel the oral wasn't nearly as effective as the vaginal and gave off horrible side effects, which is why I took that one before bedtime! At the point were I took the 300MG a day, I already had 3 failed IUIs and this was my forth medicated cycle, my dr only knew I was taking 200MG, I was just so fed up and followed what I felt was right to do, and figured why not!

    • @meetingthemiones
      @meetingthemiones  3 года назад +6

      Also, just want to say this also, my Dr. said there are normally two reasons why you have low progesterone, one being an immature egg being released, or it is a bad quality egg. I was almost convinced I had poor egg quality because I had a history of MC, but also I conceived my daughter naturally eventually before all of this so I had some hope. During my IUI cycles, I would normally take the trigger injection, that was around CD13. My follicles were either 18 or 19MM, and per my clinic they were ready to be triggered. On the cycle I conceived, I took 150MG of clomid and we decided to try timed intercourse for the first time with OPKS, I got my positive OPK at CD15. So an entire two more days my egg was maturing vs getting triggered at CD13. I have no idea how many eggs or how big my follicles were the cycle we got pregnant because we stayed home that cycle and figured why not try it that way. But what im trying to get to is that maybe I kept having low progesterone because they were triggering my egg to soon, leading to poor progesterone ( even while taking supplements ). I really have no idea if that is why it worked, or if it really is because we just kept trying and it really was our time. I highly recommend you purchase the book it starts with the egg, also start taking COQ10 for egg quality improvement

      Thank you!! and your welcome. I hope it helps you in some way! Definitely try out the mucinex and make sure the only ingredient in it is guaifenesin. I took the highest strength at 1200 MG. Clomid makes you dry and I noticed I had way more CM and also forgot to mention I used preseed. Ask your dr. for a progesterone supplement also, I had the same exact issue. Also keep in mind you have proven fertility. I also had a baby before this and sometimes you just need to find the right thing for your body for it to work again, baby dust to you and I hope it all works out for you!

    • @meetingthemiones
      @meetingthemiones  3 года назад +2

      @@tiquito1239 I would start taking CoQ10 ( 400-600MG ) a day. It's suppose to help egg quality. It will take 2-3 months to start having a effect because it takes 2-3 months for a new egg to get picked to fully mature and ovulate. It wouldn't hurt to take baby aspirin also. I have a history of recurrent miscarriage but I found out I have a blood clotting disorder called factor 2, so i'm on baby aspirin & blood thinners. I took the mucinex CD 9-17

      I guess my issue is my age/egg quality. I’m taking Ubiquinol, I’ve been on it for years now. My amh is low but normal for my age and my fsh is on the higher side but again, normal for my age. I’ve done the hsg and both tubes are open and i had a SIS sonogram which showed “something “ in my endometrium. Turned out to be a polyp that I just had removed in November. Hi i have a drs appointment on the 15th and I plan to ask for progesterone since I’ve learned something is wrong with my progesterone I was just wondering how much did u spend all together with the progesterone and clomid I’ve been told by my obgyn that the clomid is gonna be 75 dollars so I was hoping u could help me for how much yours was

    • @meetingthemiones
      @meetingthemiones  3 года назад +1

      Hi! so depending on your insurance, clomid for me was around $25, and out of pocket before I knew they covered it was $75. Now with progesterone, depending on if you get it for oral use, I believe it was around $50/$70 from what I remembered. I hated the oral and felt it never worked for me, so I went onto suppositories of progesterone, which unfortunately insurance did not cover at all, it was $277 for 3 weeks of meds, and then towards the end not sure why then they raised it to $340. I was on suppositories from 2 days after ovulation up to 10 weeks of pregnancy
