    I found your video and disregarded the importance of taking those vitamins, but kept it in the back of my head. Came and went about 6 months of trying. I said fuck it whats the harm and bought all the vitamins u talked about (in gummy form of course) plus a bit more. I got pregnant the first month of trying...

    LH surge actually occurs 24-48 hours BEFORE ovulation. It’s a precursor to ovulation not actually a sign that it’s currently happening. This is a super common misconception and I feel like the directions need to be more informative.

    • @helenarichard
      @helenarichard 7 месяцев назад

      Yes this is why you have more chance getting pregnant when you start having sex right after the first positive test rather than try the days before it. Sperm doesn't survive that long in the uterus in practice. And most women get pregnant 1 day before ovulation which is theoretically the day on or after the positive ovulation test. So dont start having sex too much.

    I know it’s an old video but instead of a bbt thermometer I use a Tempdrop which reads my temps through my sleep so I don’t have to remember to temp first thing, and having an irregular sleep cycle doesn’t affect it. It made temping a lot easier for me as I sometimes sleep with my mouth open which makes temping with a thermometer unreliable.

    • @munira4
      @munira4 10 месяцев назад

    It's like that, no matter if you’re 40 or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.

  • @karineill7132
    @karineill7132 2 года назад +2

    I had an early mc in Jan and I racked my brain trying to figure out if it was a vitamin or hormone I was lacking, my doctor had me do a bunch of bloodwork one of the bloodwork test was vitamin D, I denied to get it drawn because it was going to be $250 out of pocket long story short they ended up processing it anyway. I saw that I was on the very low end of it, ever since then I put myself on a D3 supplement I can’t say that it was the reason why but at least I can be proactive for the next one. Just funny how things have a way of working out and showing you what you need!

    • @SimplyAnaCristina
      @SimplyAnaCristina  2 года назад +1

      I’m so sorry to hear that!
      A lot of people don’t know, but vitamin D plays a huge role. As well as the other vitamins.
      It’s always best to get these vitamins through food and being outside and active. But even still it may not be enough, and a supplement is necessary.
      If you’re not already, I hope you get pregnant again soon 💕

    I read your description so I have a couple follow up questions. Did you have regular or irregular periods when coming off bc pills? How long were you trying to get pregnant?
    I have recently come off the pill 2 months ago and still haven't gotten my period back, been trying so much to conceive but also to get my period back so I can conceive.
    Thank you for all your help!

    • @SimplyAnaCristina
      @SimplyAnaCristina  Год назад +1

      Hi! I stopped taking the pill in October and found out I was pregnant January 7th. I had two periods. Both were very light. I’d say they were pretty regular though.
      & we tried in November and I missed my ovulation window, and again in December and got pregnant then. I have another video that explains the journey a little more. It’s the “I’m pregnant” video lol. I think you’ll find that one helpful also 😊
      Try not to stress about getting your period back. It’ll come. But know that you can get pregnant before you period returns. We ovulate before each period.
      I’d recommend opk tests to track and get a better idea or when you’re ovulating.
      I hope this helps! 🩷

      @yellowbeachgirl Год назад +1

      @SimplyAnaCristina Thank you so much for responding! Absolutely, I've been doing the opks, bbt each morning, changed my diet since coming off the pill to whole foods and also been supplementing with a prenatal, vitamin C & D, maca root, teas, and going to implement omega 3 fish oil soon as well. Thank you, I will check that one out too!
      I also exercise daily, always variety in my routines. And I have gotten a blinking smiley face when I did the clear blue digital opk but never got the solid smiley face.

      Hi Cassie! I used OPKs about 5-7 days after my cycle ended. Just in case. I didn’t want to miss ovulation.
      When I started to see the surge happen, I started testing twice a day. After the line was as dark as the control line, or darker, I knew ovulation was about to happen/happening, and then when that line went away, I stopped testing and waited to test HCG 🤗

    Cortisol is good. You produce it to deal with stress. Low cortisol is a bad sign. With low stress hormone (I would prefer the term anti stress hormone because stress hormone has a negative connotation), you get jitterish from stress, lose weight and hair, and can get drowsy and develop chronic fatigue. This is because with low cortisol, your adrenaline starts dominating, and constantly makes you feel that adrenaline rush or what is known as stress. It helps to lose weight though.

    • @SimplyAnaCristina
      @SimplyAnaCristina  7 месяцев назад +1

      A healthy balance of any hormone is good. The issue is when you have high cortisol. Your body goes in survival mode and that last thing it wants to do is reproduce.
      That’s what I was trying to say. :)

    Just so you know (and everyone else!) too much Vitamin C can be detrimental to a TTC journey. If I recall correctly, it causes problems with implantation. So just be cautious with how much you’re taking 🙂

      Yes, I know…an excess of anything can be detrimental to your health

    • @SimplyAnaCristina

      I also think it’s best to have vitamin levels checked prior to taking supplements, & I also believe that the best way to receive and absorb vitamins are actually through food. But not everyone has a balanced diet or gets the appropriate amount of vitamins, which is why supplementing is helpful.
      Especially when you’re preparing your body for a baby.
      I discussed with my healthcare provider and she told me that the amounts and vitamins I was taking are perfectly fine. But again…this was my experience and what was helpful to me. It’s not going to be the same for everyone.
      I hope that’s helpful.
      Thanks for watching!

    I was afraid to use vitamin C because in medical school we were told that using over 1000 mg a day can be an increased risk of miscarriage..

      Interesting, I never heard that. What did they say vitamin C did that increased those chances?
      All of the literature I’ve read had said it reduces the risk.

    You believing that ANYTHING you have done did have ANY role in being pregnant at SECOND try freaks me out. You making other women believe this, makes me SICK. You will only make a lot of women, which will try to do what you did and won't get pregnant, just miserable. Be careful when addressing such topics. I don't mean that what you did doesn't help. I mean that you can't say it like "do it, thank me later" like it will work like magic.

    • @SimplyAnaCristina
      @SimplyAnaCristina  2 месяца назад

      @@MidriVisna I never said “do it, thank me later”. There are many women that have serious underlying issues & it’s not as easy for them to get pregnant. What I did isn’t going to work for everyone & I’m pretty positive that I mentioned that in the video.
      There is no “magic, snap your fingers, perfect recipe” for baby making. But there are things that can help you be in a healthy space physically and mentally in order to create life with your spouse.
      I’m sorry if anything I said offended you. I’m just sharing what I did & how I got pregnant quickly. That’s all.
      I hope you have a great rest of your day.
