Thank you SO much for sharing all the details of your journey! Currently working on regulating my hormones through quitting my (otherwise) daily iced coffee, exercising regularly again, reducing sugar, getting reflexology sessions for the first time and eating healthier. I have a 3 yr old already - and we were so lucky and conceived on the first try with him. Now we´ve been trying for almost a year. The first 6 months my cycles were screwed up due to the covid vaxx (plus probably some stress), then I fell pregnant in month 7 but sadly miscarried in week 8/9 :(. My cycles have been all over the place ever since. Before taking the vaccines my cycles have always been regular and normal. Hoping the best for all of us TTC-women out there!
I’m sorry. Vaccines are screwy not only on healthy women. The sick are sicker. Most don’t know yet.. sad news about of what people thought it was their salvation.. I choose not to vax. Not my daughter, not my husband and several people in my circle didn’t. Please ask your doctor to add your case to VAERS so the research on post vaccination it’s updated.
I used those exact words “l feel betrayed by my body” when explaining this to my partner. I will not go into the details, but listening to your story makes me feel better. I am 35 trying for my second child; but it is nice to hear of a story of a younger person going through this. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the pregnancy
I understand your frustration Rosie and I can see why that's being projected cuz I am that person that hasn't have a baby in 12 years and I feel you but it is about hormone regulation and some people regulate their hormones sooner than others because they do the research before others, so I just want to let you know that once you do balance your hormones and have done everything in your power to make sure your body is good regardless of that time frame you will probably then really appreciate this video because even after you regulate will you realize that you will still encounter issues. I was like you it took me a while to regulate I was mad at everyone who didn't take as long as me, but I did my research and I just barely this very month became regular, so to me it seems like I've been trying for 6 years plus, when really I've only been regular for one month, see now when I encountered the same issues she encountered while being regular I was really able to really appreciate her video. and I'm sending you baby dust and hope you the best in your journey as well as all of you ladies thank you so much Embers and Ash for this video and God bless your pregnancy and journey. I hope all is till well. 🙏🏽
The way you describe your emotions is so great. I am on this journey and it feels so hard..this feeling that you have no control over your body..makes me absolutely crazy. I hope everything will end up great 🙏🏻
So glad you got your baby boy! You guys seem like an awesome family, and Rook is blessed to have you as his mother. I'm expecting my 3rd now, my youngest is 10 years old, so starting all over... After a surprise pregnancy and miscarriage we decided we really wanted one more. This baby took a few tries which caught me off gaurd... That two week wait is intense, then the 2 + week wait until your next ovulation can be just as trying.. You learn a lot about yourself in those times. We conceived the month that I started coming to terms with all of it, which I do not believe was by chance. I'm so glad you had sunshine after your storm. Also, I've heard a lot of women who struggled for their first baby find it easier after, especially since you took the health and hormone adjusting steps... Just a positive thought. Thanks for sharing. Im new here and have really been enjoying your channel.
I understand the people who are upset because they’ve been trying for years. 6 months might not be long but when you’re actively trying and monitoring everything, it feels like forever. I’be been trying for nearly 8 months now and it’s frustrating. Turns out I’m not ovulating every months and my periods are all over the place. Hopefully won’t be too long now
I’m also using the fertility awareness method (we’re not trying yet) and I’ve been using a diva cup for about 3 years so I really appreciate you posting this video! It’ll be nice to have this video to go back to if we ever deal with fertility issues as well. Especially since I’m around the same age as you and I prefer to go a more natural route with as much as is safely possible haha. Anyway! So happy for y’all and praying for a safe and healthy pregnancy!
I didn’t know that about the coffee! Makes sense why it does seem to affect fertility in some studies. I’ve been TTC for 11 months since a miscarriage and I’ll switch to organic
Thank you for sharing. My husband and I just started trying and it can be disappointed but I need to release stress and worry and have fun and enjoy intimacy with my husband. All we can do is maintain our health make some lifestyle changes as you said. Thank you for the mindset help. This video was so helpful. I don't temp. I just use strips. It's so emotional but staying hopeful as we just started 🙏🏼.
I am on year 10 of secondary infertility. I think it's due to estrogen dominance. I am in Canada as well! I am also seeing a naturopath and a nurse practitioner who specializes in hormones. Fingers crossed i can get pregnant with baby #2
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful journey of pregnancy. It is inspiring and yes going through similar phase where you don’t know what’s happening and what’s missing but I will follow your footsteps and hopefully it all works out ❤️. Sending you lots of love and good wishes .
This is super helpful! My husband and I just went to my OB/GYN and I’m going to be getting those same blood tests done on day 21. Hoping this is the month for us!
I'm on my 10th month and it has been so heartbreaking every month to try and gather up hope for a new month. I've always had some of the symptoms you were explaining and so I'm going to try supplementing some iron for my body. I'm hoping this helps. We're doing everything: opk's, basal temp, preseed, eating heathlier, limit caffeine. We just want something to stick. :(
I feel your pain. I have been TTC for my second child without success. :( 10 months. It's so hard this is Taking my life. My emotions 😭. We wish we can get our BFP.soo
I wish you both lots of luck 🍀 for me stress at work was a huge factor. Only after a vacation I was able to conceive... not saying it's a solution for everyone, but I hope you can remove some stress factors - maybe it helps! You'll get there! ❤
i just turned 25 and me and my fiance been trying for 10 months now.. so heartbreaking each month so see not pregnant. it makes me feel less of a woman 😩
Hi Ashley! I just discovered your channel yesterday and love your videos! Congrats on your babies! I was wondering did you need to supplement with progesterone during your 2nd pregnancy as well? And also at how many days past ovulation did you begin using it? Thank you so much!!
So happy for you that you were able to conceive! (I know this video is old as I have seen some other videos with said baby haha). I appreciate you not saying the names of the pills you were taking. I'm a medical student and doula and I know it can be really frustrating that docs can't do much until after a 6mo - 1 year. I would just advise you against using the term "balancing your hormones" as this isn't actually a science based term. Unfortunately it is being used by companies (not doctors) to sell things meant to "balance your hormones" to desperate people trying to conceive or who have other issues and is just a waste of money. Not trying to be negative haha just in case other people see this post :) (A great OB/GYN who also has some TTC videos is MamaDoctorJones)
Hello Ashley, what were your iron levels before and after the treatment? Were you tested for hemoglobin? If so what were the levels before and after? And how long did it take for you to treat low levels of iron?
I feel and hear her words. Ive been trying for 15 months, been tracking opk and the last 2 months ive had 2 chemical pregnancies. Its been such a struggle. This month ive not ovulated and i feel like im back to square one where i was having anovulation. I just want to give up 💔 i think this month, its time to finally reach out to the doctors. Instead of ovulation this month, i got hormonal anxiety 😢
Sorry if this is a TMI question, but I’m just curious about your cycles and if they were irregular or fairly normal (28-35 days)? My husband and I have been trying for 6 months now, however I’ve been dealing with VERY irregular cycles for a couple of years, and we’ve just been trying to figure out why and working on getting them back to normal, with somewhat success.
This was super helpful and comforting knowing I'm not the only one and someone else knows the feeling. May I ask..was one of those pills called myo inositol? Just curious..I understand if you don't want to answer that
I feel like it wouldn't matter if took a month or two or several years to get pregnant if you had someone tell you exactly how long it will take. It's the not knowing and endless waiting that drives you crazy.
this might be a rather wierd comment but it's so funny to be watching these old videos after your current one's, because you're so childish in these, worrying about small things and getting upset. and now you're a proper grown up, rather balanced and mature which really suits you
OMG! I have bad ones normally but like once a year i get one that knocks me out for at least 2 days! the low iron could be a factor as well! I learned so much to help me go forward in our journey!!!!!!! I'm so happy you shared!!!! we have been trying for 4 yrs . . .
Just keep in mind that naturopaths are not accredited and their practice is not monitored. I see a lot of harm happen to patients from them too so make sure you see a qualified professional

I clicked off as soon as you said “we’d only been trying for 6 months”. Lol. My husband and I are on our 5th year. 6 months is literally the normal amount it takes for a couple to get pregnant. Or it could take up to a year. 🤷🏻♀️ idk why I thought this would be a video of a woman who actually struggled 😂
I don’t think we should discount someone’s struggle because it’s “not as bad” as someone else’s. I know I didn’t try as long as some, but I did have a hormonal imbalance and my journey would have been longer if I didn’t address it. I hope you’re able to conceive and enjoy the joys of motherhood.
