First story: We had an 'Angie' in my office years ago. She always tried to one-up the other women. It was exhausting.
One day, a new hire snapped and called her out on it. Angie burst out crying and ran to the bathroom. Everyone looked at this new hire, but she just shrugged and declared, 'Well, I'm not wrong, am I?'. The entire office nodded in approval.
Later that day, manager came to find new hire, with Angie in tow, who was demanding she be fired. Without hesitation, I stood up and said, 'If she's fired, I quit!'. To this day, I have no idea why I did it. Suddenly, more people did the same as me. In total, 8 people. Manager knew we would be screwed if all of us left. So he told Angie to 'get over it' and walked away.
Turned out, the new hire was head-hunted (basically un-fireable) and groomed to take over VP in a few years. She took no s**t from anyone, and we instantly liked her way of working.
So, the "Angie" in your Office was fired or did she quit?
@@JadenYukifan28 She's still there! Fair play, she does her job efficiently and is rather good at it. We just didn't like her attitude.

A dealer charged my sister over fifteen dollars apiece for plastic tie wraps among other things. Plus labor to install them. I told the dealer I would be posting the bill on line and most of the charges were removed. You can buy a couple packs of tie wraps with a hundred in each pack for fifteen dollars.
First story: widower going on 11 years and while there's all the things you'd expect one would miss in a situation like this I've really missed those times when my wife got to show off her hubby with her that's right ladies he's all mine and he hung the moon in case you didn't know attitude. And woe be upon anyone talking shyte about her man.
Would always tell people don't know what I did to deserve God sending her my way but I'm sure glad He did.

Angie story: If all she has going for her is her looks, she's not likely to last long. But keep an eye out for her, people like her don't take being a distant second very well and do stupid things to get revenge.
Tire story: That was shady AF. They wanted to sell OP a tire, not simply charge for repairing one, so they deliberately damaged it.
I would sy that Angie's hangover is the petty revenge part. Bring in the 4 year old's drum set at full volume. Cue Evil Laugh!

The 1st story is what happens frequently (and we hear about it often) -- Men try to get ahead in their careers by working harder and better than others in the department, trying to stand out among their co-workers. Women, however, try to get ahead by bringing the other women around them down, talking negatively about them, "backstabbing" them (to use a cliche).
The last story. I am kind of amused about rich people often are the most penny pinching people. Only matched by their entitlement

I got this story from one of my supervisors where I used to work. Once a year the company would host a dinner for all the people who were supervisors, foremen and on up the ladder and their significant other. This one year one of the supervisors showed up with his wife and everyone was stunned at how beautiful she was... some even said that she would put some famous models to shame. Well, that didn't go over very well with many of the wives who attendant and they started whispering to each other that he must have hired her or something. Finally one woman spoke up and said, "Just wait till you are 35 and have 3 children!" The woman looked at her then started laughing and replied "I'm 39 and have 4 children!" The women were speechless and her husband's chest puffed up being so proud of his wife!

My husband refers to dealerships as “stealerships” for good reason. At least if you get screwed over you can call someone higher up n usually be made whole.

Contractors Story: If I was Gabe, I'd have simply called a Lawyer to send the Contractors a Cease & Desist Notice to keep their vehicles OFF Gabe's property and if/when they ignored the C&D, I'd call the Police to have the Illegally parked Contractor Vehicles Ticketed (Trespassing and Illegal Parking) and Towed...
Then, I'd Sue Dick for half the Maintenance & Repair Costs for the Well and Septic System...

I have problems with car parts places and Big Box Store HOME Improvement places. I can take the car part I need to the parts store- it doesn't even matter which one because they all do the same thing, they will in turn give me a new part that does not even resemble the old one. I am not that stupid, but that is how it goes every time. My husband never has this problem. The HOME improvement place is even better. I can go in and have the exact name of the product written down and they cannot find it for me. Husband goes in and locates it within minutes. It is even better when they tell me they are all out of said product and husband picks it off the shelf.

The “Car” Business is loaded with unscrupulous people/mechanics because the average consumer knows little to nothing about cars,tires, brakes, etc. They will say just about anything about your car/truck just to make a sale. If & when you fine a mechanic/Auto Shop that has a good reputation in your town, send them business from friends & family. They will do you a Solid & not try to BS you.
