Love it! I’ve been doing sober October the past 3 years and plan to do it again this year. It’s a great reset and excellent way to check your drinking. Great stuff man!

Can never go wrong with child cancer research St. Jude comes to mind. Or even a local children's hospital. I know in my area one local children's hospital specializes in a burn unit. Can't think of anything more important than helping children.
I love this! There is an amazing local hospital to Patrick. The foundation for AdventHealth Avista in Louisville, CO, is currently raising money for additional NICU equipment because they serve more high risk babies than almost any other area hospital.
I do 1 month 2 times a year where I don't drink any alcohol. I do February in memory of my brother who died in 2023 from alcoholism, February is his birth month. I have one asterisk for that month is for the super bowl I drink a six pack of non alcoholic beer, it's my way of still participating in the fun that day plus it's my way to "telling" my brother that you can drink NA and still have fun. Then I do August, it's the hottest month of the year and I don't want to drink whiskey mainly bc of the heat so I just x out any beer as well. I enjoy drinking whiskey, stouts and porters in fall and winter so I don't do no drink November or sober October etc.. February and August are the 2 months I do.
I love the idea. If you are concerned with attendance with an auction, how about partnering with another RUclips Bourbon channel. One that comes to mind is Bourbon Real Talk. Either way great idea, and we are here to support.

Live raffle sounds great. You may want to set a reserve of MSRP for each bottle. This means MSRP would be minimum of what bottle would go for.
I usually go dry over the summer just because I don't enjoy drinking alcohol when it's hot and humid, I'm a bourbon or rye drinker only
Try a raffle. Every 5 donation gets you an entry. You will raise money as I wouldn’t spend 90 on a Blanton but for 10$ pledge I’d participate.

Love this! There is a great non-profit local to Patrick that does amazing work for children and families. I also love supporting food related non-profits, as food and whiskey pairings go great together. Three great ones local to Patrick’s area are HungerFree303 in Denver, raising funds to support food insecure children and families on the front range, Broomfield Fish food bank, and Food Bank of the Rockies. I have have worked directly with all four, and I think any of these could be great!
I love this suggestion. I know Avista well, I had one of my kiddos with Boulder Medical. Nothing but great things to say.

The National Bison Association's headquarters is in Colorado and they put on a Bison Judging Contest every January at the National Western Stock Show in Denver. Businesses sponsor scholarships for high school and college students who compete. Since you like Buffalo Trace products, why not sponsor a scholarship for a kid who's learned a lot about bison and probably wants to go into the agriculture industry?

Good idea, however, I will not be on the Oct-Nov sober train because I will be going to college football games in the Fall. 😜
