"It's that time of the month again"
Must be October because the calendar is getting exciting. Coy Hill might take my wallet! Always appreciate this video!
The c923 Larceny is sooo good
I heard that which is why I picked on up. That was the first one I bought since b521!
I can usually find a hidden gem or two at spots I frequent. And always at retail or slightly above. I’d love to find a coy hill. A
Great vid as always Patrick!
My pleasure. It's awesome to have a few honey holes here and there. Cheers.
That OGD is at the distillery today for $200
I love some OGD and I really wanted the 16 year. I guess not now. No way it's 10 times better than the bib. That is what the price suggests. Hope to find a reasonable pour of it somewhere.
I saw that. Damn why so much. I know its 16 years but god damn.
Look for some hardin's creek 211/17 year for 150, banger stuff. I'm surprised ogd 16 is 200 @ 100 proof. I was expecting 150 for 107 (middle ground of 114 and bib) or even 114 proof. Also the old overholt 11 year is out at 90 to 100, the 10 year was great but it's a rye FYI.
Did you try the High West Petit Sirah Cask? Maybe my favorite whiskey they have
I've had the diu me Rye finished in sirah cask but I don't recall petit
I won't hold my breath on finding a JDCH or Russell's at MSRP, but if I found either close, I'd grab it. I'm definitely hoping to get an OGD 16. I'll hold off on the ECBP and LBP until I see a few reviews. Cheers.
There's supposed to be more coy hill coming out this year. Like you ill just be hopeful.
Already seeing MM Cellar on secondary, it's gonna get goofy. Looking forward to trying the CNB though, just a short distance between F & B, wonder how it will affect taste.
I hope it they put out so much it equalizers the market.
Almost $200 for the MM 😖. OGD 16 is another matter though 😋 mmmm 👍 Cheers 🥃
Big prices for big releases is the saying now says.
From the reviews I’ve seen don’t waste your money on the OGD 16. And for 200 it’s a pass for me I’ll stick with the 114. And as for High West I believe they should stick with Ross Squibb juice only their mash bill seems to not improve their bottles. And for that kind of money we should expect more. Anything from these legacy brands that are over 130-350 are hard passes just can’t justify spending that kinda money on alcohol. Good luck!
I bought one lol. I had to. Haven't tasted it yet. Holding my breath.
OGD16 is 180-200
Damn I heard that recently. This was filmed about 2 weeks ago.
@@TheWhiskeyCove it's delicious dropped in wisco this last week. Better cost value ratio than RR15 I think
Oh shit. I'm going through ky in two weeks. Hopefully the distillery will still have it
Most of these are over my cap so not gonna look for them. I believe 100 is too high for a bottle of alcohol. So 300 is way out. But if you think it’s worth it you do you!!
Prices are going way overboard every year.
