  • Hello guys,
This video will show what I had to do to get this knocking engine to get back in good running condition. Nothing too special about this one, we’re just rebuilding to oem specs as it is going to be my new daily driven car.
This is a 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX that I bought with a knocking engine. It was a extensive job a lot of cleaning and measuring behind the scenes.
Hope you guys enjoy this full engine rebuild video.

no you don't. buy a regular impreza and don't drive it like a rally car. you literally can't have any fun in these cars in stock condition. when you upgrade to a forged engine they only last like 100k miles. unless you've got 20k sitting in your bank account AFTER the cost of the car, you don't want a turbo subaru. especially if you arent able to do engine work yourself. Don't put yourself in a situation where you're making payments on a car with a blown up engine that you have to pay shop labor rates to fix.
