  • www.ventrac.co... There is nothing more rewarding than quickly clearing a path and leaving a clean surface. The Ventrac HB580 Power Broom allows you to do this in a breeze. Designed to remove snow, leaves, dirt, light gravel, and even thatch, the Power Broom makes your day anything but hard work.
    Transitional ground surfaces like sidewalks can have varying imperfections that make operating equipment with a leading edge, such as snow blowers or blades, dangerous and damaging to your equipment and surfaces. While the HB580 Broom glides over uneven surfaces and allows the operator to work at a higher speed while clearing snow or debris.
    Industrial strength clearing power, yet compact size for tight spaces makes this attachment unique to Ventrac. The 21-inch diameter broom stands alone while detached with its self-leveling feature that keeps the broom horizontal at all times. As with all attachments, it is able to be easily connected with the front hitch arms in a minute or less.
    The Broom’s application angle is adjustable left or right and even up or down depending on the surface requirements. What’s more, the design of the Power Broom is completely corner-less for sweeping against curbs and allowing the cleaning of corners and maximizing effectiveness.

      How do you make it turn backwards

    • @FerroequinologistofColorado
      @FerroequinologistofColorado 6 лет назад

      Don McMannamy you need a special kit for the broom to turn in reverse. It’s stated in the video that you need the 2 extra hydraulic quick connect couplers and the 12-volt kit

      The actual process should have been pointed out, but with the 12V kit on the tractor, the larger handle on the SDLA lever that controls lift/float gets an add on that includes buttons to control the 12V. That will change both speed and direction of the broom.

    There is a problem with the videographer.
    He forgot to take the rear side of the sweeping machine to understand how much it really sweeped.

    Quick question. I just bought the broom, should I put weight transfer on or off?

    • @ventrac
      @ventrac  5 лет назад

      With the broom, it can be a bit of personal preference. Find your preferred settings with it off, then you can add it while in use to see if you like the effect. Some broom users will run it all the way on to help it ride up over imperfections. Others might run it somewhere in the middle. Others don't use it at all. If you use full weight transfer in combination with a non-aggressive gauge wheel setting, there may be times that it will skip over spots that are a bit uneven, etc.
