Haha don't expect to see sharks in the sea. This is common, many sharks and notably hammer head's often hunt in shallow water. Usually chasing sting rays.
Hammerhead sharks are well known for their shallow water feeding habits. This is a very common sight along the northern gulf coast this time of year.
They are observing the people on the beach and attack them when they get in the water and steal their car keys and credit cards.
Sharks or colored folks?🧐😂
lmfaooo
You know this reminds me, we need a new Jaws movie its been to long.
Sharks swimming that shallow are not uncommon. The problem is you can't see them in Galveston's brown water.
Your going to need a bigger kayak-lol!
You can catch baby hammer heads all the time I dont know why anyone is clutching there pearls !! 😅
Baby shark???
@@randyg.7940 yea we used to catch little ones there all the time
@whateverheather Local news has become irrelevant, so they need something to fill the time. Look! There's a squirrel in that there tree!
@@Inigo_The_Son right lol 😆
@@Inigo_The_Son 😱🐿️🌳😱😂🤣😭☠️
wonderful you got footage...I wonder what groomed his travel twoards the shore/land
Food! 🦐🦈 Plus St. Luis Pass is just that, a passway to get into the Gulf of Mexico.😁
Most people told me it’s feeding on stingrays
it was probably hunting a stingray
Wow a Hammerhead, one of the most docile of the sharks. Super scary. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure there isn't even a recorded attack on a human by a Hammerhead.
Who said anything about it being scary?
@@feralhomunculus The title says its causing concern. That implies that it is scary or dangerous.
I’ve swam with huge hammerheads in the Galapagos. I wouldn’t be so eager to do so with other species of sharks. Like people, not all sharks are the same.
Yeah hammerheads have tiny mouths in comparison to other deadly shark boiz
Shark in natural habitat surprised to discover naked apes in living room .
*Tonight on reef 7 🤣
😂🤣😭☠️
Got a picture of me on Galveston Beach at the age of 3, holding a hammerhead shark my Daddy had caught on his rod and reel. Circa 1959. It is the gulf of Mexico after all. Magnetic poles are swapping. Look for more rare sightings to come. Stay out of the water!
Why?
Awesome. Lots of great whites over here in the California triangle. San Francisco Bay is full of Leopard Sharks - biggest under 5 feet, no danger to humans. ❤ Ocean 🌊
🦈💖
Imagine being surprised to see a shark in the ocean, they are commonly found in shallow water.
A shark that size, yes it is rare. So go wrestle with it and show us how rough you are..
Very true, the majority of shark attacks happen in shallow water.
@@TingTingalingy you realize he never acted tough, he just pointed out the painfully obvious sharks are in the ocean, and often in shallow water. maybe try not hearing what people arent saying.
@@petewilcox3354 he's mocking people, that's likely your habit as well. A mouth that needs closing, by force, until you learn to respect others.
@@TingTingalingy O be quiet corky, you couldn't fight your way out of a Walmart line. 😂
Why would you Not Expect this in the water? That is where Sharks Live? You Can't encounter one, at your local Deli or Pizzeria ?
You can encounter them at the fish and chip shop in some parts of the world. They will be fried and battered though.
Why not? I thought all meat comes from the store! 😂🤣😭☠️
@@ElephantsRock19
No sir, you can absolutely NOT get meat at just any old store… that’s right, meat ONLY comes from the “meat” store!!! I know it’s hard to believe, but it is true!!!
yeah sharks tend to swim in the water.
When you’re a hammer head shark, everything looks like a nail.
😂
Looked like a damn submarine surfacing!
The first time I saw it it almost beached itself where his head was out the water and can see half of his face! That’s when I started recording after that
@@FishingNgigging Cool! Is this your video?
@@jaytaylor2090 yes that’s my video lol I’m mainly on TikTok though
WoW 😳
Hammerheads eat skates. In shallow water. That’s where they go for breakfast. Nature bro
They are one of the largest sharks that will go into shallow water. They're made for it. I've dived coral gardens and watched hundreds of them school over head. Why anyone is surprised to see sharks in the ocean is beyond me. What isn't surprising is how stupid some fishermen are when they are pulling in fish IN the water and don't expect a predator to look for an easy meal.
Hammerhead Sharks nomally swim in shallow water to eat sting rays that burrow in the sand
Why would we be so shocked there’s a shark in shallow salt water.
At Galveston RV & Marina Resort, the fishing docks at night time was awesome for catching some crazy fish! There are 2 powerful led lights aimed at the water and using live 4-5" shrimp (you netted off the shore) you will be catching something big in 10 or so seconds. Ive seen some aligator gar fish that were near 5 foot and scary, lol...
I ve seen a alligator gar in rock port tx that was 16’ I know this because it was as long as the boat when it surfaced along side
Brackish water ???
next up, a fish spotted in the lake, AMERICA IS IN DANGER !!!!
"This is something you might not expect in the water out on the beach" LOL well it is the ocean so....
Good catch Jason!
Thanks!
It's not harmful unless your a nailfish
TURN THE GOD DAM PHONE SIDEWAYS....
I recorded it for TikTok is why it’s vertical. I know it bothers me too but I ended up dealing with it
That's Jim Adler.. if you know you know😂
And let the Jaw's music begin 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 🦈
They asked me that lol if that song played in my head when I started recording during the interview. 😂😅
I should’ve said that other song, that “Baby sharky doo dooo dooo baby shark”😂😂
@@FishingNgigging 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for not fishing and killing it.
I wouldn’t kill it lol but I would definitely take a picture then let it go lol
What a monster!
Dont go swimming there. Sharks are there in the water.
OMG!!! A Shark in the Ocean!!!
Leave the shark alone you guys. It is transitioning to a land shark.
A shark at the beach? Wow that’s amazing lol 😂 lol lol haha 😂
You would think they would be on a mountain top instead.
@@artyfhartie2269 or climbing a tree...🌳🦈🌳😂🤣😭☠️
Lol it was cool experience though, do u see sharks often when u go to the beach that big?

LOL...yeah she's cute
Lol that’s me! 😅 not so shocked that there’s a shark in the water. Just u don’t see it that often come shallow and catch it on video, was cool to see! But I’m still going in the water still 🤷♂️
Yeah, you don't often see the big ones come into the shallows that close to shore - especially when there's human activity around. Galveston Bay is only about 10 ft deep in most places, so they have plenty of hunting ground without coming ashore.
Extremely Rare ✅ I’ve Only Seen One…When I Lived In Panama City,Panama In 1975
This just in, sharks are in the ocean. 😂
O noo a shark in the ocean who would have thought 😂
Something is happening! My dog constantly looks at the waters and gets nervous
WOW
Why would you not expect that? Those waters are full of hammerheads!
Wow, sharks in salt water!!
Shocking ????
Causes concern ????
An animal in its OWN HABITAT is a reason for concern ????
CHASING stingrays i bet...
Top of the food chain.
A news story, on a natural hunting behavior. Wow... stunning.
But it got 4 million views on tiktok ;)
@@feralhomunculus and truly, a clear indicator of the intelligence level of our society. ;)
Lol but I captured it on video is the cool part 😅. Oh well even if it’s natural behavior it was still cool to see especially in Galveston
@@feralhomunculus 😎
@@FishingNgigging Yes, it's cool to see animals hunt in the wild, especially where we individually live and not on an adventure with a guide pointing it out like it's staged, and even cooler you got it on video!
My criticism is of the fact the news thought it worthy, to distract the most intelligent species on the earth with it while feeding us bullsh** / propaganda on everything else or not even reporting on some really big stuff.. like all the volcanoes going off or Biden receiving $5mil while being caught in an FBI 'pay for influence' sting in 2008. 🤷♀️
Baa haha. On another point, sharks only attack you when you're wet. (Allegedly)
what's a "beache?"
Looks like a great hammer head
OH MY GODDDD!!!!! It's almost like SHARKS LIVE IN THE OCEAN!!!
And whens the last time a hammerhead shark attacked someone?
A couple of people got bit in South Carolina last summer, but nothing some stitches couldn't fix.
😂😂
Beautiful fish. Another reason i don't swim in saltwater.
@0:01 Should have been rephrased! Seriously??? Not expecting to see a shark, in the salt water ocean, when you are on a beach??? Do cattle live in a field? Do bears live in the woods? 🤦 😂
a shark in the ocean wtf .......?????
You get a line ,I'll get a pole , there's BBQ in there. Grilled Shark steaks.
OMG 😱 WHAT??? A SHARK IN THE WATER??? Only in America are people surprised to find them in their natural habitat.
Jump in and wrestle it.
Today in sourh parade Island 6 people were attracted by a shark
Oh noooo a shark in the ocean? What next, birds in he sky?
no differant from a allagater
Why would a Shark (any shark) cause concern?... Water = Sharks... Land = Humans... it's not rocket science!!!
It was just cool to catch on video like that. Especially in Galveston. Don’t get to see that often over here
Peeps still videoing with potatoes…
I caught a small 3 foot one when I was a boy
Scary! We’ve done this, it’s our fault. He’s at home. When we swim in their environment we have the responsibility to be aware.....
swimming and trashing trying not to get stuck in the shallows.
he’ll ‘hammer’ you into the ground
Omg!! 😮 A shark! In the ocean! What do we humans do?
How about swim somewhere else for awhile.
It is their home, not ours.
I love how most comments are the same as mine, but it’s the Karen’s that are; make it move! My kid needs to swim. 😠
Something you may not expect in the water at the beach🤔😳r u serious right now😂that's the shark's backyard....my lord,it is just me or are humans still blind to reality after everything we've learned 😂😂😂people that love the water still get shocked when they get bit😮😮😮
Lol u just don’t see a hammerhead that often there.
I’d like to catch that one
Wonder how come they didn't toss someone in there so we could watch them wiggle and yell?
Ughhh it's the ocean really?
Next- republicans move to ban sharks in shallow waters!
😂
Also Hammerhedd will be in Houston July 23rd with Havok and Toxic Holocaust... Also with Houstons own Wulfsküll... its gonna be a banger🤘
