    I had the same issues with artists. I buy all my things now through a “party link” from artist #2 because she **correctly color matched** me with IIID and Demi. I learn soooo much more from her than I ever did from #1.
    As for the bubbles, I have several that came like that, too. I use them with no problems at all. I LOVE Demi for my almost black under eye areas. I usually use my finger and apply 2-3 colors to correct the different colors under my eyes. I experiment with all the colors to figure out what CC works best on my issues. I’m 63 and having fun with makeup like I did when I was a teenager. 😂 🤷‍♀️
    In my world, the bubbles are a minor issue in the grand scheme of my life. It’s all good. 😃
    Great video!!!!!!!! You’re so cute!

      I finally decided to put the tins in my pan on the stovetop and ever so gently melt them - they came out great. :) And work great too. whew!

    I was told by the manufacturer who is Seint that the bubbles are normal. They are air bubbles caught in the product while the product is warm and cools off trapping those dots. So it is normal for this product. I use 3D and their demi colors. I don't wear any 3D as a concealer. I only use demi to help the eyes and brighten. I love it! No creasing.

    • @MaryZeti
      @MaryZeti  Год назад +2

      That's good to know. I was really concerned. I wound up keeping all of the tins and just re-melting them a bit to make a nice smooth surface. I really like the Demi line for my eyes as well, it is nice at matte and stays where I put it.

    I just started using Demi also and had the same issue as yourself with using another artist as I also have been using Seint makeup for probably 4 or more years when it was called Maskcara.
    Artists sometimes have a party link and to my understanding you can purchase thru that link and they will get the credit for that purchase even though you originally signed up under another artists. You can also just use a new email and you will create another account with the new email and new artist. Gmail is good to make new emails with. Hopefully that is helpful to someone.
    I got color matched from Michelle Spieler the Mature Masterclass lady you talked about and was thrilled with her suggestions. She even suggested darker highlight colors than I was originally color matched to and I was blown away that they were so perfect!!
    And as far as the bubbles in your product….. I have had that happen also in the warmer months also or if I remelt my tins for whatever reason it may happen also. I have never had an issue from them though.
    I just found your channel and I hope to see an update ….. I am loving the Demi!! Just don’t give up on it.

      Thanks for the advice - I really do appreciate it. I'm still figuring the product out. I did decide to keep it and gently melted down the tins that were more bubbly. I will for sure post an update.

    I think you did a great job for your first go at it! There is definitely a learning curve.
    You are correct about using a small brush, although there should be less product on it. Dabbing with your finger does the trick as well as buffing with a fluffy brush right after. It should look like you’re “erasing” the discolorations on your skin rather than covering it up with color.
    I agree that O3 looks way better on your under eyes. I think it matches your undertones better. It looks smooth and seamless! You have really pretty skin so this formula showcases that nicely.
    As for the color selections…dark but vibrant usually means a blemish that is starting to heal. It’s actually not the “absence” of color, but rather, the “saturation”
    So, the saturation means the excess color in the darkest point of the spot. Blemishes that are healing tend to have a darker bluish/purple tint. The vibrancy is from the purple, and the darkness from the blue.
    The only true red that needs a green color corrector is usually a new blemish that is an angry red. A new blemish has vibrancy, but no darkness yet.
    I would try the YO1 on any older blemishes you have and see how that works. That is the one I use and I’m also pretty fair. Use a tiny pin point on the blemish and either tap with your finger or a few times with a fluffy brush until it disappears.
    Hope this helps! I think you’ll be great at this once you get the hang of it.

      Thanks for the advice! :) I agree, O3 is working out quite nicely and I'm really liking it. I do need to work on the technique and understanding how to use the colors in the right places. :)

      I found that if you don’t have the Double Demi Brushes and I don’t use my fingers because I Don’t want bacteria because then you could create skin problems and I sanitize my Demi brushes right after I have used Seint Brush Cleanser. Which I love but 2 times a month I really clean my brushes and all white and new. It does take practice I love Demi for my whole face. I add color where needed and also for my under eyes I use the Demi corrected color’s. Lot’s of younger women need to know you have to change your brain that it’s not a regular make-up. Just the opposite and I use a very light hand now in the beginning I didn’t but it’s not a makeup and I had to change my thinking. Love their Seint Eyeshadows but I use NV+1 or NB for eyeliner which are Demi but I also use NV+1 for contouring but I also use Bella bronzer and tanlines for adding color or use NO or NR or O7 to add color. But it’s a investment. Love Demi. Glad someone came out with it. Love your opinion also hopefully it helps her. ❤️💚💙😻Julie

    I totally agree. It should be easier to buy from different artists. Different artists have helped me in different ways. The bubbles are normal for cream makeup and storage/travel/heat/cold. It's a bummer. I got the same quality and felt the same way, though even my bougie stuff from major brands have that. It's not okay, because those TEENSY pans are 20 bucks a pop. I spent abut $400 bucks! I also find the product grainy, and professional makeup like Dermacolor is very smooth. There's a huge learning curve, and I am still learning. I am not a consultant, and don't plan to be.

  • @JuliesDemiColors
    @JuliesDemiColors Год назад +4

    I’m 60 and I won’t ever use anything except Demi. You do need that spot brush and maybe 3 other Demi brushes and they’re very concentrated and it looks like you used to much. That is why you need a spot brush also it takes practice. I worked Estée Lauder so it took me 5-6 weeks and you need a lighter hand and use less also Demi is a investment if you know how to use color science & you need patience to Demi and it really won’t work right if you don’t have Demi brushes. I use Demi I use it for adding color and also I use the color correctors also I use R7 for blush or R5, O5 if i want Coral color for blush very concentrated. I have received little bubbles like your photos and it’s fine their is no grit in it. I’m in Tucson and my weather effects my box because it comes from another place with different weather and you can melt them & No if doesn’t effect the chemistry of how Demi works.
    My Opinion is you need to decide if you have patience and definitely get the right brushes & they are $20.00 but if you want drugstore quality then Demi is not for you.
    Also your skincare products are very important what you use as far as quality of products as far as Essence & serum’s and vitamin C or Retin-A or a bleach prescription 4% you have to let your artist know everything you use and if you need help email them and ask the right questions but even professional Make-up Artist had to practice because it’s not like regular make-up. You have to know color science. I love Demi and I have a 20 compact and most is all Demi except for bronzer or a cleaning tile & couple of eyeshadows. But I use NB for eyeliner & that’s a Demi. Like I said it takes time and need very very little and I wouldn’t use my fingers especially if you don’t want bacteria in your Demi’s . I will never go back to anything else. Hope this helps. Julie

    The best advice I got from my consultant is that Demi should disappear when you apply it. Just a tiny bit applied directly to a dark spot or blemish. If you can see the Demi product, then it’s the wrong color. It took a couple of months of playing with it and now I love it. I’m using so much less makeup.

    Hey I just wanted to let you know that I use Seint and Demi. I just got into the demi about a month ago. I ordered the Wide awake edit which comes with 6 colors. My whole point is that is normal. The makeup is a wax and it gets hot then cold or cold then hot and makes those little bubbles. It's actually happened with my original 3d highlights as well. I'm also in my 40s and the demi is awesome. It takes time getting use to. Xoxo

    • @MaryZeti
      @MaryZeti  Год назад +1

      That is soo good to know. And I'll have to check out the wide awake edit. (I'm not sure if they had those edits when I ordered mine) I'm still getting used to using the product, but I'm persistent and am really encouraged by being able to wear less makeup overall, especially in the warmer months. :)

    I had 3 different artists colour match me from photos and none of them got my demi right. And 2 are big players in demi. I think you have to get to know your own colours. I posted a video recently with my honest demi review if you’re curious. (But from my other account, not this one.) it should come up in search if you type honest demi review. I find your videos helpful and watched your IIID videos before I first ordered from Seint.

    So if your package sat on on your porch for a while before you brought it in that could be the issue. I had this happen with some Mac lipstick. For the lipstick to prevent it from breaking or not rolling up I left it in my refrigerator for a bit. I think since it was all of your tins and not just a few that this was heat related. Also use very little. Barely touch the brush to the color. Too much product makes it cakey and creates texture.

    • @MaryZeti
      @MaryZeti  Год назад +2

      I know they didn't sit on the porch for long because my kids ran out to get the package the second they saw a delivery. However I do live in TN and it has been hot so possibly in transit is when it happened.

    You should email the company directly about your concerns with the bubbles. I don’t feel like the artists can or have the ability do anything; gets shipped directly from the company. When I had an issue with a shipment that was lost in the mail, I emailed the company directly, not the artist I ordered through. They sent me a replacement order.

    I know this is old. But the 0r1 is for brightening. The Or3 or 03 should be used only on the blue shoots under the eye. Then the 0r1 can be used with a fluffy blush for brightening on the under eye.

    • @MaryZeti

      yes....the pricetag is $$$ in my opinion. Especially if you buy the whole product system with compact, makeup and brushes. I try to cut corners where I can, like using brushes that I already have on hand.

    • @JuliesDemiColors

      If you want good skincare for your skin that’s a investment because good Essence and serum’s & eye creams & serum’s and if using Retin-A or Hydroquinone 4% cream and vitamin C and a great Hyaluronic acid that has the 3 molecules to go into the dermis and Dermaplaning every 2 weeks. Then yes Demi will work because that is a great investment for your looks meaning the no make-up look which i love people saying they love my skin and they think I’m 10 years younger and I’m 60 so I’ll never go back to anything with full coverage nothing like suffocating your skin and creasing in wrinkles or your under eyes. It’s fun to play with demi 💚💙😻😹Julie
