I have been doing pilates for 8+ years, and my physical therapist recommended I get back to fundamentals and do a few sessions really focusing on doing the basic movements with great form. I am an actual absolute beginner. I did a few discounted classes at my local studio and felt the benefit to my body, but when I looked at the ongoing cost of classes and compared it to the cost of purchasing my own reformer, I decided to purchase a reformer instead. I found this video easy to follow and very helpful. I'll probably keep doing it until I feel strong enough in the basics to progress. This entire type of exercise is new to me so I am very gumby. One thing that would be helpful is to have a second camera angle from your perspective looking at the footbar, so I can be sure that my feet are spaced correctly and are at the correct angle.
