What a great idea! Now I'm going to hold off on getting my 327 reconditioned and keep the 4 speed.
I feel like this channel is about to go viral. What a cool idea! Subscribed
Wow Chris what a great project! Can't wait to see it "humming" down the road.
Chris, that is going to be awesome. I look forward to seeing it finished. I know what you are capable of doing so I know it will be top notch.
Hey Jon, thanks! Happy to have you following along!
Chris, cool video
This will be nothing short of amazing when you get it done.
I'm not a motor guy but I may become one with your help :)
Gino
Awesome stuff very creative and innovative stuff I like it.
*Just a super cool brilliant idea...*
*Just subscribed...*
Instant subscribe. What a brilliant idea!
Amazing! Can't wait to watch the process and see the finished product!
Maybe a nice British Racing Green TR6 could be your next project : )
Rhonda
Nice job sir
Very cool!
Build a box with a fan propeller setup put it on the crank pulley the box with one Inlet and one Outlet where the water can flow through and spin the crank
Innovative and impressive
Awesome!!
Thanks very much, kelsey! We are working hard to build an incredible product and make people laugh along the way.
Make this into a kit, using the KISS method...
i thought about useing 2 electric motors 1 to run the drive train and 1 tpo run alt and power steering, i wounder if that would work
On this unit the front pulley works so you don’t have to worry about that. Just use stock power steering and alternator
This is 3 years old?!?! I’m way behind!!!
whats your cost for a old truck
Use hydro pulley and electric water pump on crank pulley
Can you 3D print your engine replicas? Big block chevy 572.
SHOOT if my BFF heard me mock her just like he did @ 5:47 I would hear " I sound like that!" All day long Never hear the end of it.
Haha Kelsey’s a good sport , but ya her voice is a lot nicer than mine
So since this is a Hayes and you're Canadian I'm assuming you live near me in Vancouver area. Why did you go to so much work making all these parts instead of just following out an aluminum block?
Look at the v12 GMC from the eary to mid 1960's. It's a BIG engine that has a unique look(good) This will give gobs of vvolume to play with. How about a V10, 12 OR 16 CYLINDER LOOK A LIKE EITHER BIG OR SMALL BLOCK CHEVY ENGINE? sorry about the caps, my computer went insane and i'm working with what I have .
Put me on your mail/e-mail list! I'd like a SBC one.
super fot knight rider lol i need lol
The concept is super cool, but electric helping the environment is a big lie. Your electricity is powered by fossil fuels unless, you have wind or hydro. And yes, nuclear isn't a fossil fuel but it does have worse longer lasting effects.
Kyle Sluys ,,,, the future is electric, wind, solar, water, hydrogen,,,,,it could have happened 20 years ago but was killed by the fossil fuel - internal combustion industries,,, study a little more before bad mouthing from ignorance
@@mmiljour dumbass like I already said above, coal produces 70% of the US power. Yes you can take coal away, wind and solar each produce 1%. Wind and solar require massive real-estate, you can't put wind and solar in remote areas because the power loss is to high. The shear cost of an inefficient power system doesn't make it feasible, maybe in the future technology advance enough to lower the price. In the future Michael how about you take your own advice or shut the fuck up.
@@xtremeboost7 open your eyes Kyle, there are already several euro countries doing 80%+ of their electric via solar and wind. The turbines are in a very remote area, the middle of the sea! There are dozens of ways to make electricity and more being developed every day. Oil only comes from one place and they aint making any more of it.
You talk about flatheads and electric in the same phrase. They are very different from each other. Flatheads and small blocks have so much disadvantages that why even compare the two. I don't understand why your conversion needs to look like a gasoline motor? People will know once they hear it. You need to do this right and get enough battery to get her around at least 150 mile range. I think you're asking for problems trying to enclose the controllers inside a "box", how will they adequately cool? Most EV's try to lighten the load as much as possible. Your best bet is to buy a wrecked Tesla and use the batteries, electronics and motor(s), otherwise you will have too much money in the car....more than what it's worth. I personally won't have my own daughter drive a car that doesn't have the minimal safety equipment such as air bags, ABS, collision control, etc. Her face is much too pretty.
