Neat product. It's kind of like having a hybrid. Looks like old skool...drives like the future! What type of cell chemistry are you using? 96 cells at 307 volts is only 3.16V per cell. Ok, I know you're just speaking in general terms but since you're potentially selling to people who don't know anything about EV's it's important to teach them and using the right terms is critical. You have 96 72 amp hour CELLS which makes a 22 kilo Watt HOUR battery and adding more batteries will NOT increase horsepower. Trying to put 600V into a 300V inverter will end very badly. I love what you're doing. I think it's a brillian gateway for a lot of "shade tree mechanics" to make the jump into electric drive.
That’s correct the batteries are 3.2 volts apiece. The motor is the same but to get the higher horsepower with the second battery pack in series you use a different formatted controller than the 307 volt .A lot of the motor manufacturers are doing bus type motors and aren’t interested in tweaking the controllers to get the high pony’s the hotrodders want. Not common for diy to be doing the higher voltage unless they are doing the wrecked Tesla scenario. Thankyou for the insight
Brilliant ! Absolutely Brilliant I’m am interested in all respects of this project. Please keep me updated. I will order a shirt so I can help promote your cause here in the state of Arkansas. Best car related project I’ve seen in my 66yrs. Pulling for you guys. Hope I can participate in some way. May God bless all your efforts and plans. Sincerely. Jeff
You have to convert a 1968 thru 1982 Corvette i think that Cat is so cool looking i have owned two of them over the years and the looks are great but neither my 79 or 81 had much power. Heck but batteries in place of the fuel tank and try to get 200 miles or more with a fast charge capability. That would be awesome. How much are planning to sell kits for?
Beautiful job, what is the weight? Can it be adapted to the.Ford Mustang latest gen. (rear independent suspension)? Keep on the good work, you are an artist.
I have a 37 Packard and would be interested in converting the car. But would want at least 150 miles of range would that be a possibility with the kit? and if yes, what kind of money are you thinking it would cost?
This is amazing!!! If you need a street rod to use for a proto type I would be very interested. Please feel free to reach out to me. My ford is a show winner and this would take it to the next level. I would love this in my 1947 ford business coupe!!
I would love to put out pricing but I am still in the prototype stage ,should be in production in about a year. Takes a lot of time and money to scale this .
Interesting idea. I like that you have made this all on one and modular, but how would we deal with power steering? Is there a way you could also run a pulley out front that would be able to run A/C and/or power steering? This could make for my 1967 chEVelle once my gasoline engine quits.
Hi Brad. If you have a look at my first prototype I did actually run a shaft was a pulley that runs the alternator and you could of course run your power steering off of that. Of course there are also electric pumps that take care of that if you do not want to run the pulley.
Really awesome 👌👌 how much would it cost me to pick up what you got there ? i know is not cheap but would like to have a total price of a swap if i do it my self
hi chris, i like your motor, i have an older jet boat that had a stock 454 in it but it was siezed. i've been thinking about putting in some type of electric motor in it and this one looks perfect for it, anxious to see the pricing and availability when you work it out. i'm in central nj.
Not very common yet at putting electric in the high speed planing hulls. A lot more common in a sailboat or displacement hull. That being said it would be awesome
@@WebbMotorworks I am definitely interested. Would love to discuss using my vehicle as a demo unit. Email me if you want to discuss details and work something out. Love the idea. I signed up at your website. Wayne L.
I'm an idiot when it comes to resurrecting an old ICE. Something like your design is EXTREMELY attractive to me. Who wants a beat up primer gray 72 Plymouth Fury station wagon that's electric? ME! I got the wagon, so far so good! It would be so much fun to document something like that.
Oh man, I'd love to get one of these installed in my 78 c10. No more having to deal with CA smog.
Love your ideas, I 've been looking to see if anyone would be doing electric street rods!
Ever since Teslas became more mainstream I wondered when some genius would do this exact thing. You sir are that person.
Dude, I wish you the best. This seems like a real wining idea. Cool
Just came from your other video. Addressed all my questions. Super impressive build! Probably one of the best.

Might get one of these for my 70 c10 for my 50th. Just subscribed
Awesome retro style hidden electric conversion. I want an electric SVO. I want to learn to convert cars to electric as my profession.
Brilliant ! Absolutely Brilliant

Thanks Geoff I appreciate that. If you go on my website you can also sign up for the newsletter and we will keep you updated on the beast
How much more weight does this add over an ICE engine and transmission?
Could you put a transfer case behind it for a 4x4?
It will weigh the same as your ice motor so it is great weight distribution. No problem tying into a transfer case

Think is great concept but what if batteries good bad how hard is it to replace the batteries.
Who makes the transmission...
That's totally sick- loving it!

Dose it's work on a Nissan Titan
Can you build one out of a dodge v8 if block is sent
Does it sound like a V8?

Extra batterys with custom size? You might wanna publish some price range.

You want $50,000 to $70,000 per motor? You're a funny guy.
How much for a electric motor

Need to seal better for marine
I have a real slick 88 Chevy extended cab WITH a 62 diesel heavy duty trans can I hook this to torque converter and and use it?
You wouldn’t need your torque converter. This comes with its own trans
By adding more batteries would the range increase as well?
Yes you would get double the range even if you increased the voltage
this would be a great package for my 2012 chevy colorado !!!!!
Can chrome plating be used without disturbing the system? There's an idea...chrome!
Sure no prob
I would like a big block size motor cover.
The "look" of the engine cover needs more of a real engine look...go extreme.
That's awesome 😍
Definitely need some pricing
Yes, I am still in prototype phase, once I get a couple demos done and bugs ironed out I will have a better idea

So many good american bodies ready to receive an electric motor, way to go.
