I was thinking about this, and even if you don't make it fully look like a stock engine, the idea of making an electric motor package that uses the mounting style of popular V8's is a pretty cool idea. It'll definitely make doing retrofits a lot easier when a guy can buy a package that will more or less bolt in to the factory mounts.
I love all these videos, they are informative, entertaining, and funny all at the same time. I can't wait to see more. I'm sure one day they are gonna blow up and be really famous like Rich Rebuilds.
hello Mr. Chris. I would like to take a moment first to congratulate your magnificent work on this build. Also I wanted to discuss with you the possibility to have you as a guess in our Electric Vehicles course we're taking in our school. of you could please contact me so I can arrange things with my teachers. it will be an honor to hear from.you and your experience about this build since we're the first group 9f mechanics taking this specialization in Canadá ( At least in Montreal - Quebec). thanks in advance and hoping to hear from you soon. God bless you and keep up the magnificent work
This is really neat! What do you tell people at car shows though? An EV is hugely popular at shows and should be shown off but you've done an amazing job at hiding it...
Brilliant! Can you tell me the Total weight and Top-end speed of the truck? I am looking to buy a motor for my truck conversion. just wondering if the dual AC-34 would be powerful enough.. Thanks
Peter Bradley Hi Peter. Truck weighs 6000 pounds. Once I get the brakes working I can get more info to you but so far it is awesome! I was worried it wouldn’t be able to move this baby, but I was pleasantly surprised
Very nice craftsmanship. Gas engines weren't made to look like horses why make an electric motor look like a gas engine? Storage space or something cooler with the extra space instead?
Until now I have not been enthusiastic about electric cars but this has me thinking! Great job. Thank you.

Very cool project, hope we see more from you guys 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I'm so glad I found you and this channel. You are super talented, and it seems Canadian too? Beauti eh.
this is amazing. just, breathtakingly amazing and im not even an electric car fan.
So what is the final cost for all this awesome conversion? And what range (distance) can that truck travel? Its awesome.
Well done! Humorous and fun. Maybe their is a future for hot dodders. But I'd suggest a sound track to mimic an overcammed small block.
Brilliant! Well done!
amazing work
Nice to complete it and have alot of fun drive with it cool electric hotrod truck.
I love it! Thanks for sharing.
It looks great. Amazing work. Love it..

It took a hammer blow better than the cybertruck!
I don't care if it looks stock. But this truck looks fantastic. What a great job. I'd love to have one also. Much better than the usual EVs
How can i get pricing on this electric sbc
I love the dig at tesla... 0:19
#bulletproof
When are you gonna have the ls block style ! Can’t wait
I liked the idea for my 83 Ford F100. Just need a manual trans for it and get rid of the AOD.
I hope you add speakers and sound effects of stock V8
why would you?? the advantage of electric is the quiet.

Where are you located? Those trucks were made "Logger" tuff. Really cool project.

@@WebbMotorworks Thanks for your reply. I'm thinking of using that motor. its a bit pricey, hence the inquiry.
it's beautiful.cool. поместить в старый двигатель электро начинку - гениально....
It’s a cool concept but I don’t think it can replace the sound and the feeling of the rumble and pure raw power.

3:20 You can still produce synthetic fuel from renewable like methanol (CO2 + H2 + O2) and run these old ICE engines if you really love old mechanic 🤔
I wish there was a ❤️ button.
I'd love a flathead for my 36 Ford
I was loving it until he said "I don't have any brakes!". Then I thought those girls are crazy.
Haha. Call it artistic license. The brakes work sort of ,there is just no vacuum assist .
@@WebbMotorworks "The brakes work sort of", you are the real man around here.
It's a beautiful motor but I'll pass. With no clutch and transmission and engine sound you kind of lost me
