- Void Terrarium’s glowy world and cute robot had me intrigued ever since I saw the first trailer. I loved its Japanese demo, so when NIS America sent me a code for this game, I was so excited to try the whole game. Hope you enjoy hearing my thoughts, let me know yours in the comments!

I keep an eye out for a good dungeon crawl, and this looks absolutely adorable
I was a little on the fence when this game was revealed. I'm not a fan of Mystery Dungeon games usually but I do like Rogue-likes quite a bit! I couldn't click on this review fast enough to find out your thoughts on it and you've completely sold me on it. I'm a total sucker for cute robots in games as well and it seems pretty unique too with the tomogatchi mechanics. Very excited to download it later!
Got the LE version. Will probably start this weekend. Thanks for the review. I’m now really excited to play.
I’m glad, the limited edition looks so good too :) enjoy!
Got the game and The Princess Guide on Switch not long ago during one of NISA's eShop sale and can't wait to play both. I really enjoyed the team's The Firefly Diary, A Rose in the Twilight and both Yomawari games, so I'm pretty sure this one'll be another win. I started to enjoy Mystery Dungeon-like games ever since I beaten Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo's Dungeon on Wii and am checking for more of them whenever they come out in the West, this one included. Thanks for the great review, Tara! :)
I bought the physical edition for the Switch and I'm loving it so far.
Vomiting expensive after so many years (like yomawari) but it looks cute💛
Nice review! It seems really cute. And that limited is tempting me 😅
this just looks like mystery dungeon, but with an anime girl
*_I’ll take your entire stock_*
😂😂😂
When I saw the ad I thought it was like pmd with anime and immediately got it. The game was so different and I love this game currently in my first endless ruin run, a few floors away from 50 I have the two most powerful combos right now. All I need is good luck and more damage resistance so I can hit 200.
I got crashes, but since the game has auto save, it didn't matter much. Never lost more than a few minutes. Fantastic little game. With the contamination theme, it came out at the worst/perfect time, and I've had a lot to chew on, emotionally.
Good review, I'm buying on your recommendation :)
Hope you enjoy it! :))
Thanks a lot for this. It was a little pricy and you convinced me
Hope you enjoy it :))
Cool !! keep doing
I wasn't on the fence with this game but with this review it's almost at the ASAP buy; damn my backlog. Cheers :D. On another note did you see the new trailer for Ryza 2 via the Japanese direct?
I did! Naturally super excited :)) (hoping to talk about it some videos soon too ^__^)
@@JRPGJungle Woo. It's strange how you get too play as Ryza again; but it's a change that I'll welcome. The only thing I'd love to see from this entry is the trait systems from past games. Still it's not a deal breaker if it's not here.
Preordered mine & it still hasn’t arrived yet. I’m so tempted to just buy the digitally but I’m trying to hold off 😭 I knew this game would be a hidden gem & I hope it’s successful!! Great review 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you! I hope your copy comes soon and you can play!! :3
Pokémon mystery dungeon with a Binding of Isaac mindset.... I love it!!! 😍
Well you sold me on Zanki Zero which I'm currently playing through, and now you've sold me on this one too. It looks so cute but still challenging.
Zanki is fantastic too :) hope you keep enjoying zanki and this if you try it ^__^
im thinking about buying this tomorrow, ive had my eye on it for a little while now. it looks adorable. how long does it take to play through roughly?
It took me about 24 hours, but I’m sure you could play it faster if you’re better at the roguelike stuff:))
@@JRPGJungle that sounds just right. im more into games now that are a bit shorter but more satisfying. i think ill go ahead and give it a try! thank you for your review and for answering :)
@@JRPGJungle omg the robot is piloted by a mouse!
I kinda had to take a break from this game because the idea of your level restarting from 1 everytime you go into dungeon while getting random stat boost and skills is a great idea that i like but going thur the later dungeons is rough and tough considering the random traps and getting bum rushed by enemies , glad you enjoyed the game
Can understand, I was getting destroyed a lot my first couple of dungeons. I had a learning curve at some point and got crafting to get permanent stat boosts and then I started to feel more powerful :3 but can understand lol thank you, hope you enjoy it if you ever go back to it :)
@@JRPGJungle yeah I'll go back soon just gonna clear some smaller stuff in the mean time, i did craft alot of stuff to get the stat bonus but I'll let youy know when i do
played htol niq and loved it, sadly this sequel isn't on steam :(
I played it a few hours on ps4, i like it, i like the fact you start at lvl 1 every time. It remove the grind present in some other roguelike rpg.
Nice review!
this game look like something that I´ll love to play, but I only have PC so waiting to see if any announcement about a steam realease.
@Let Tice PC have good Jrpg but you're right a lot never leave the consoles, the last years the number have go UP but a lot of no AAA titles like this never arrive, but I see Nisa there and they make a lot of ports so the posivility is here.
@Let Tice Maybe in the past. But, over the past few years there has been a rise of many JRPGs getting ported to PC.
@@Anishiroisekai its mostly because pc players dont buy lots of games beside high discounts... i mean, even persona 4 hasnt gotten more sales on steam than on vita yet. We are talking about of the best vita games, sold at half the price on pc than on vita, and a perfect port... thats the reason why pc gets not all sorts of games.
Will you be reviewing the sequel as well?
I really hope to! I've done a first impressions on the JP demo for 2 so far, I really hope to play the full game as well :3
Sequel coming soon
well, I think this looks a lot like Touhou Genso Wanderer Reloaded (look on Steam), and that wasn't a bad game. actually, there are a lot of clones of this kind of game out there (Omega Labyrinth Life would be the Ecchi Variant, also on Steam). Interested!
I played the JP demo for that and it was fun :) they’re both roguelikes so yeah :) if you like that kind of gameplay, Void is reaaaally fun ^_^
this game is legit difficult
I thought it was difficult at first it's not so much that as you were 1. unprepared 2. outplayed 3. missed the critical hit
Luckily there are skill and mods to fix every one of your issues
@@hulkex6575 are these mods permanent cuz if not it's annoying to redo
@@eb.3764 No they are quite frequent you need to learn how to manipulate it to your advantage you can get similar perks from crafting knacks and parts which have a heavy impact on the game
Good👍
I just keep dying trying to make Penny. It’s not even fun anymore.
Now that I know that it's a roguelite my interest dropped to 0 quite fast
