I really think Goldi mentioning the fact that it takes a lot of energy to be a rockstar was a pretty relevant comment when it comes to Ronda and that fight specifically. It may not have been the best time to discuss it, but in hindsight I definitely think the stardom and feeling of being invincibility was a factor in her downfall, and it's often said about fighters who get too famous (ie mcgregor). I think everyone just hangs on Rogans word so much that nobody even bothered to consider why he said that, and instead just pointed and laughed
It was actually Randy Couture who used the “shot his wad” reference first while commentating for the UFC. I don’t recall which fight it was, but I remember Rogan clarifying that it was a gambling term and then using it himself later on.
