Only 79& of the votes for Holloway for KO of the year is a landslide, but still surprising because it´s that obvious it´s one of the best KO´s in history.

I can see how Pereira got fighter of the year, but Ilia really should’ve gotten that. The level of talent that they both faced is night and day difference. Volk and Holloway are on the Mount Rushmore of UFC featherweights (I would put Aldo and Conor on there as well) and Ilia KO’d both of them. Pereira didn’t fight anyone that we would put in the Top 5 (or top 10 even) of UFC Light heavyweights. Im not a fan of Ilia as a person, but you can’t discredit his accomplishment.
I don't think it's fair to say Khalil wasn't competitive vs Poatan when he was actually giving Poatan problems on the feet that nobody else at 205 has been able to.

Volk and Holloway are on the Mount Rushmore of UFC featherweights (I would put Aldo and Conor on there as well) and Ilia KO’d both of them. Pereira didn’t fight anyone that we would put in the Top 5 (or top 10 even) of UFC Light heavyweights. Im not a fan of Ilia as a person, but you can’t discredit his accomplishment.
I don't think it's fair to say Khalil wasn't competitive vs Poatan when he was actually giving Poatan problems on the feet that nobody else at 205 has been able to.

I don't think Topuria for Fighter of the year is a bad pick BUT at the end of the day winning 3 fights in a year is alot harder than 4, not to mention Alex breaking the Lightheavy weight Curse and beating 2 former champions + Khalil. So in short, I Agree with the audience and pick Alex.
