@@Sleepezi It was a great video man, well done. I like where you're going with a lot of this stuff. Whatever actually happens with the remake series I'm taking some of your theories into my headcanon
I can't wait for Part 5 where Sleepezi begins: "What if I told you FFVII Compilation is actually a historical record of the actual planet Earth, predicted every tragedy since it's release, and predicts the end of the known universe?" I honestly would not even be surprised.
Well that ain’t far from the truth since the only thing that needs to happen is for all covid patients to get white hair and green cat eyes along with black rashes all over their body🤣
...And how cultures like the Mayan and Norse were trying to show us the truth through their scientific and mythological records all along! *Insert PepeSilva.jpg
I have been an FF7 fan since 97, I have played this game is different stages of my life as I get older. Every time I do it I get something different from it. But what you are doing with all these theories is just absolutely awesome. Thank you for taking the time to answer questions that I have always had about this game.
When I first played the Remake and analyzed the painting in Aerith's room in Shinra, I noticed the beasts with materia. And I think, summons will play an important role, just as how Aeons are in FFX. Let's not forget, Motomu Toriyama who directed scenarios in FFX and how Aeons and Sin is a cycle is now a co-director for the remake. Given that FFX is connected to FFVII could implement the same plot of cycle, and breaking out of that cycle.
Phew finished watching it, this is what's on my mind. The mural in Aerith's room I think is a prophecy, Loveless the moment I heard it uttered in CC over and over gave me the impression that it's not just a poem but a prophecy. I really paid attention to the painting in Aerith's room in Shinra. If you look at the painting, the Cetra creating summons with materia are protecting the lily at the center of the painting. While the other group who summons Phoenix and the dark beast for me represents two things. The black dragon like beast signifies destruction while Phoenix signifies rebirth. So I think, Team Light Cetra believes, when there's a threat, thr Planet needs protection, hence the WEAPONS. I think that these WEAPONS were created by team Light. On the other hand, Team Black Cetra thinks if an uncontrollable threat appears, they need to sacrifice everything and make a reset, to purge and restart life. These group could've created Black Materia, zirconiade, Chaos and Omega, while Team Light created the WEAPONs and Holy. I believe that the Cetra were one unified race but when Jenova crash landed to the Planet, I think their beliefs got divided. Some could've opted destruction and rebirth, while some sought to create protection against threats. I have so much to say, and I know If I do the comment section will be too long. I hope I can relay what's on my mind to you Sleepezi
This series thus far has really got my brain going and it made me notice a lot of small details I missed before. Such as the design on the belt of the Deep Ground members at the end of Crisis Core is different from the standard issue SOLDIER belt. It actually looks vaguely reminiscent of Minerva's tiara. Or the fact that the mural in Aerith's room in Remake actually depict several factions of Cetra. We know about the White Cetra (White/Gold/Green) and the Black Cetra (White/Gold/Purple), but we also have the third faction, the Red Cetra. The Black and White Cetra appear to be in conflict with one another while the Red Cetra is the balance between the 2. I feel this may be an allusion to the disciplines of magic throughout the entire Final Fantasy franchise. White magic for it's healing and restorative properties (Life) and Black magic for it's destructive properties (Death). However, the middle ground of these two disciplines is Red magic. Magicians that have no strong affinity in either direction. (As is supported by the inaction of the Red Cetra in the mural) Who else is associated with the color Red? Genesis and to a certain degree Shinra. (Think logo) I believe Shinra fits this bill more though if we are to go with the theory that Rufus MAY be part Cetra. Rufus' character is known to do both good and evil things. (Such as facilitating the war of beasts... on several occasions) The spirit bodies of the Cetra (mostly seen in the Temple of the Ancients) appear to take on a form similar to Black Mages of other games in the franchise. (Blacked out faces and tall pointy hats with oversized robes) This is interesting seeing as how most of these Black Mage like entities are mainly observed in the Black Magic centric Temple of the Ancients. The depiction of the Ancients' civilization in the VR room in Remake is interesting as well with it's 8 pillars and central HQ like stronghold in the center. (Henceforth referred to as ProtoMidgar [Also worth noting is the Norse roots of the term Midgar]) The Black Materia was gifted to the Cetra, but why from the planet if it's the planet's will to protect itself? I believe the Black Materia is actually a gift from the Cosmic Lifestream that is supposed to be used to return the entire planet's life force to the Cosmic Lifestream. (Perhaps sent by an offworld being? Jenova? Perhaps the Reunion is more than just the reunion of cells? Perhaps like many others, the materia makes her whole?) Thus is why we ended up with warring factions of Cetra. The White Cetra tasked with preserving the Planetary Lifestream and the Black Cetra who are tasked with preserving the Cosmic Lifestream. Meanwhile the Red Cetra are there just to facilitate the clash. A sort of arbiter in their own right. Definitely looking forward to more deconstruction of this.
What if Jenova is actually a good guy trying to save the universe and the Certra made her out to be evil like shrina Corp did to the Wutai? Or Jenova was really a Cetra just on the "wrong" side. Ooo what if she was Minervas sister!
I can't waaaait! :( My husband starts work in 30 mins and isn't out for another 9 and we've watched every one together the wait may literally kill me. Will add another coment after we're done!
@@Sleepezi TOTALLY was! We just finished it. Here is the question we pose: Here's an interesting theory: You say Fuhito , Genesis, and even by that notion Sephiroth, after gaining the knowledge of the ancients, are flooded with the idea of their own purpose; to bring forward some form of destruction to the planet. Those that would oppose this destiny, this will of the planet, are 'traitors' to the planet. Here is the question I pose. At the time these three individuals gain the knowledge they think is coming from the Cetra and the planet, Has this knowledge *already been tampered with or corrupted by the presence of Jenova?*
@@snarkvictory4425 I'm not sleepezi but from the looks of the compilation, the planets will isn't hindered by jenova. Gaia is alive and her life force is stronger then jenova. So the planet will do everything it needs to do to correct fate. The knowledge remains the same because the planet is in control
@@zekiel2533 I guess that's where I'm questioning/diverging/disagreeing though. If Jenova can pollute the life stream, the body (geostigma), the planet (the scar on the north crater), and the stewards/the Cetra (coming as their brothers and infecting them with the virus), then why should I accept that the planet's will/the arbiters/everything else hasn't also been infected by Jenova?
@@snarkvictory4425 I don't think what you're saying is too farfetched. It could very well be that Jenova has her hands in some of these little things, but I think it would be hard for her to have reached out to achieve those in the first place. It almost seems like she's inert for the majority of the compilation, but I wouldn't put it passed her given that if Sephiroth could affect the lifestream and consequently time itself, so could she tap into it in a similar manner. I don't personally think she went quite that far, however, but it's definitely a cool thought that you brought up.
I cant believe that the series creators made so many underlying elements, all connecting to a bigger picture. The fact that this universe is so deep is the greatest feat outside of the fact that folks like Maximillian Dood and yourself were able to connect these dots... Beside this universe and Eos in FFXV, are any other FF universes this heavy?
FF1 has a lot of lore expansion from the remakes and Dissidia and 012 but that's about it. The FNC is kind of like that, all the games are overseen by the same family of deities
I've honestly never seen YT theories of this quality, but you already hear that a lot. You also have an extraordinary way of communicating with your community and being respectful and you clearly love discussing these things. This whole channel is a goldmine, i sincerely hope you are proud of the art you make
I think an abbreviated version would be fun to make. For the most part I have tried to just walk you guys through to the end result of my findings in each step that I take. So I agree it can be a TON to absorb in just one sitting. That being said I would love to make something shorter and more to the point. but until then we haven't finished this trip! Hope you continue to enjoy the ride!
This was super enjoyable, especially with the OG soundtrack underneath, it was genius, the music created an atmosphere to your narration. I was really impressed with your research and how you connected events from compilation to support your theory of a cycle of life and destruction. So to clarify, is Jenova then assumed to come from another group of Cetra? Or is she still an alien destructive life form that is separate to Cetra? This video made me think and I will certainly come back to it again before part 2 of FF7R.
Not gonna lie. I missed the Aerith don't fall in love with me cutscene in my FF7R playthough and once I saw it, I went crazy looking for people talking about it. I found Solider 1st Class, Final Fantasy Peasant, Easy Allies, Maximilian Dude, Pollen Ainne, and then you. Now while everyone went in with their levels of theory, you kinda smoked them all with the level of background lore you're using and making sense with. I applaud you. I can't wait for the next part.
Tl:Dr: Genesis became the Planet's WEAPON at tje end of Crisis Core. He was awakened at the end of DoC to take care of a planetary threat bcs Zirconia and the OG FF7 WEAPONs were destroyed and Chaos went AWOL. Him and Vincent are probably going to be important in the final Remake entry
Why haven't I seen these yet, ..my god I'm so glued to these videos, I can't stop listening. My mind has been blown soooooo many times I don't know why I can't take longer between them to digest it, but good lord your attention to detail had brought to light soo many things ive never even noticed. Im an old school player of the original, .but I've played a few of the comp. Including doc. I completely missed the unknown experiments link to genesis. You blew my mind with the weapons being impeded with master summon materia, as well as the connection to Minerva (I never got that far in ffcc unfortunately) .but just things I never thought about. Good work man, your killing it
As a die-hard Final Fantasy 7 fan I have watched all of your videos in can honestly say the level of detail that you have is next to none. Simply amazing I hope that you keep making videos and once you're complete breakdown of Final Fantasy 7 is over I hope you keep making other Final Fantasy videos
I love how these videos are proof that the compilation enhances the original, to the point that the remake made alot of people mad at first for the changes, but it actually is coherent to everything released so far, and said "changes" were always there.
So I completely agree: If there is any take away from these videos: The Compilation is going to be involved (and kind of already is) into the future of Remake. and is presently! Thank you for watching and thank you for commenting!
Crisis cores characters are actually not as bad as they seem. Even though they don’t hold a candle to the iconic characters in the og. They just are presented in ways that don’t allow the audience to connect to them as much. Which is such a shame. My next vid will try and do them all a bit more justice. Thanks for watching!
Rewatched everything from part 1, picked up so much that I missed the first time just like I do every play through I do of Remake, easily the best and most interesting breakdown of any game lore ever, patiently waiting for 5 dude keep it up
Been loving this series. The video is great and can't believe how much deeper the story off ff7 truly is. Next step part 5! Keep doing what you do man.
You are killing it sleepezi. You'll be at 10k soon no doubt and honestly, if you can keep this up and maybe diversify after this ff7 run, 100k is not out of the question within a year. Keep it up. Maintain this standard. You're on the right path
I very much appreciate your kind words Christopher! There is a lot to cover with just FF7 alone and I am very excited to get to the rest of the theory videos! I will be working hard to build more content for you guys! and I just hope that these vids will continue to meet the standard quality! if not exceed it in the future! Thank you so much for watching, and I very much thank you for your support!
Nice one again hehe though I must say, too much small details added again Some reaction hope you won’t mind. First thing, I already mentioned this as a comment from your previous video, but why are we still thinking that the planet has a will of its own? We know for a fact that the planet is nothing without the lifestream and that the lifestream eventually leaves the planet through Omega to go to another lifeless planet, or go to the Promise Land (that it lies past the Edge of Creation where all lifestream came from and where the true Goddess resides) before it finds another planet. The only “will” the planet have is from the lifestream and it is generally what the creator of the lifestream wants it to be. Secondly about the Materia. Here’s my simple version… Lifestream is the sum of all consciousness/memories and by itself is energy. It is known that Shinra is trying to mimic the Cetras but up to this point, they can only extract the energy. What Shinra lack is the innate ability of the Cetras to work directly with the lifestream. You need to ability to steal? The Cetra can pinpoint that exact memory from the lifestream, extract it, and create a Materia from it. You need Bahamut, they can pinpoint the exact consciousness from the lifestream and create a Materia from it. Shinra doesn’t have that capability and that is why there is no new Materia similar to what the Cetras were creating. Infusing a human with Mako and condensing them doesn’t create Materia. Returning a person to the lifestream and have a Cetra extract that consciousness and condensing it creates the Materia to call upon that person that will abide your will as the summons does. Third, about the Cetra. They were depicted in the painting being in a group which means they are in unison. Even if their creation seems to be having a conflict, they are not - they are in balance. There is no conflict between the Cetras, they are of higher beings. If they can be separated into groups, they are the ones who decided to settle and the ones who decided to continue to travel and I’m pretty sure that journey is not happening just within the planet. Lastly, both Fuhito and Genesis are misguided by their beliefs, and by translating it as the will of the planet, you are removing the element of their free will. They used the Materia incorrectly by infusing with them and by doing so, the purpose of that Materia was infused in their consciousness making them think that it was their own purpose. That is why this revelation only happened after they were infused with it - it wasn’t their own, it was the Materia’s purpose they took in. Still, even if there were Materia created for those types of purposes, they were intended for the natural events. The balance of creation and destruction was placed using the Cetra by the will of the Goddess for the natural cycle of life and they were never meant to be tampered by the humans. Humans tampering the natural system is what causing these imbalances. Human conflicts is part of the natural growth - It is their natural struggle to make mistake and learn from it. But when the human uses these systems placed by the Goddess for their personal gain, it brings forth unprecedented destruction. Looking forward to your next video :)
So basically each game in the series shows a conflict which uses a weapon / summon to try and destroy the planet, which is stopped, and the cycle repeats. So the remake really is meant to show the cycle being broken, both by the party and sephiroth, meaning Minerva should be framed as the big bad going forward. Loving the video as always, very thought provoking.
Lol I am going to just say this to people when they ask me for the short and sweet version of the theory. Couldn't have said it much better myself! And I am glad you enjoyed! Thank you for watching!
@@Sleepezi hey you throw a ton of supporting evidence towards this theory and it's one that I buy into as well! Thank you for the immense amount of work youve done on this so far dude. To expand on my point regarding sephiroth, i think it's quite clear to see where they're pushing the narrative with this, especially the whole '7 seconds till the end' conversation. Sephiroth seems to have a genuine desire to push cloud forward, and doesn't feel half as menacing here as he does through the game. I really doubt they would turn him into an antihero, but Sephiroth is giving Cloud a shot at breaking the cycle. Genuinely excited for the next part!
i was working on some animation cells while listening to this. It took me the entirety of this video PLUS some googling to realize that "Fajito" wasn't "Fajito" but "Fuhito". Great vids btw!
So, i was just listening to On the way to a smile - episode lifestream, and there's some stuff in there that seems to be relevant and i'm not sure you have mentioned yet. There's a part that kinda explains advent children and probably is related to the remake: Sephiroth is dead, legit dead, but he became an "idea", a concept that will exist as long as there's people in the world that remember him, that knows of his existence. Not literally knowing that he was a guy that existed, but that could comprehend what his existence meant, what were his true intentions and was involved with him, as the clones were. After the ending of 7, he basically kept existing in the lifestream as some kind of tumor, but still had the ability to influence the exterior world, and would continue to have that ability as long as Cloud (the only surviving "clone" of him) was alive. That would mean that only by Cloud dying, Sephiroth would cease existing. Probably some of it was already said in the movie itself, but the episode lifestream explains it in a much better way than the movie, almost to the point that it feels needed to really understand what's happening in that movie. Sorry if you have already touched on that and i'm just repeating it.
Ooooh, something to watch after work. Wewt! Still believe it's a sequel to AC! But reminding me of all the stuff from Crisis Core.... It makes Zack being alive a really interesting wrinkle.
Pretty extraordinary work, as always. Incredible research, presentation, and thematic analysis. You may be building to this in a future video, so I apologize if you’re ahead of me, but for my part I think you’ve spot-on diagnosed what’s going to be revealed in the Remake’s second act (that we've been watching the same pattern repeating over and over through time), but I have my suspicions that Remake's true purpose is the culmination of the ENTIRE FFVII saga and the final shattering of the cycle. I’m thinking specifically of Final Fantasy XIII’s own compilation, The Matrix Trilogy, and any time loop story when I speculate that the climax of any narrative revealing an endless cycle of events is the ultimate breaking of the cycle. FFVIIR, I suspect, is going to re-depict most of the story of the original game because 1) they won’t know they’re doing, 2) once they do know, they’ll be causing it anyway, and 3) all hope must be lost before the goal changes and freedom is gained. So in my mind, the final battle with not only Sephiroth, but the Planet’s wheels of fate itself, will end with Cloud and co saying “whatever happens to us, to people, to the planet, must be in our hands. Salvation or doom, we must be free.” Part One’s ending thematically references this, but I think the grander design will reinforce it.
watched all your vids! I just have to say, you are amazing! thank you so much for making them! with every new video I have the feeling that you are becoming more professional. this intro here??? fukk, it already gave me goosebumps!!! p.s. I loved the connection to myth in your last video! I've been thinking about it since I first heard the word 'nibelheim' in ff7. my mother language is german and i'm very interested in such things! thanks for making it! I LOVE your content!
First of all, thank you for watching and for commenting! And yes! I have been trying to get the quality up for you guys ever since the first one! I am glad that you are enjoying the ride so far! I am also glad that you enjoyed part 3! It was fun to dip my toes into mythology for the series, might be doing that again soon!
There's also another thing I noticed, when you said the black things which protects Zirconiade, is also the same black things protecting Omega. In the remake we see it too, in the form of the... WHISPERS! When we entered Singularity and first saw Sephiroth, he was in the center covered in purple light with the whispers looking like chains before Sephiroth absorbed them. After defeating Sephiroth, whispers were released from him and went to attack Cloud and co. Then when he jumped, Sephiroth throws whispers towards the party in which Barret gunned them down. It's like these whispers are protecting him, maybe because he is essential to the balance, to a purpose. Looks like Sephiroth's destiny in the remake is to bring destruction, to end all life which follows the natural order of things - just as Zirconiade's and omega's purpose. As per Lucrecia's research, all things who has definite shape are meant to end. Aerith said, "Everyone dies eventually." all things has an end. And if Sephiroth wishes to "defy destiny" then he means, he doesn't want to be the one who ends things, heck he doesn't even want to end! He doesn't want to be a part of what i think a greater flow of the universe, and if Gaia is meant to die, its life energy will be taken to that greater flow. I think , Gaia's time has come and the natural order dictates for Gaia to die, maybe that's why Jenova landed on the Planet in the first place, to finally put it to its end. But the Cetra who created summons, WEAPONs and Holy might've created these for the sole purpose of protecting the Planet and everything in it. While the other group who created Omega, Chaos, Zirconiade, Harbinger of Fate and Meteor must've created all these in order to fulfill this natural order.
Did you feel like that NightSkyPrince 3h discussion with Soldier1stClass was totally unnecessary? Do you have an idea why would someone want to put so much effort in convincing people that pretty much all aspects of the remake are bad?
This may be nothing, but hearing about Zirconiade needing to be given its summoning materia to become complete, I can't help but be reminded of the Weapons. After all, the biggest difference between a Weapon and a summon is a red sphere embedded in Weapon's body. Assuming a complete Zirconiade wouldn't need the support materia, perhaps they would combine with the summoning materia to account for the size difference. I don't know, it's just what else would Zirconiade do with the summoning materia if not absorb it into itself? And what would that look like if not a Weapon? Granted, the planet activates a Weapon to fight against it, so maybe I'm just overthinking things. P.S. Love the videos! As a Compilation newb, they've been particularly illuminating. This series is a total mindfuck and I am here for it!
I think that this video mainly tried to do its best to define the theoretical difference between those two. But I think the answer to that question is: Not much does separate the idea of what a summon is to a weapon. The only difference they have is who made them. But it is fun to think about what exactly Zirconiade would look like, or what exactly would be the defining differences between its two forms. There is a lot of that were going to get into in DoC! Thank you for the support! and thank you for watching.
I think we have to start moving away from the whole "good" and "evil" dichotomy as we dive deeper into this analysis. While it seemed mostly natural to assume that anything that "protects" the planet is "good" and anything that causes "chaos" and "destruction of life" is "bad", it has become clear that this is no longer the case. What is "good" and "evil" no longer has much meaning without first defining who is defining those terms in the first place. "Good" as in good for the planet? Or good for humans? "Evil" as in destroys the planet? Or destroys humans? Or even cetra. The point is that both Holy and Meteor are two sides of the same coin, "Light" and "Dark", both are necessary to keep the yinyang balance, and both are just as "good" for the planet in that sense. Without "Dark" there would be no way to destroy the evils and harmful things of the world, and without "Light" there would be no way to protect the good things of the world. There are no "good" or "evil" materia, only "good" or "evil" agents in this cycle. I think you are conflating the two and creating a division in the cetra - calling them Good cetra and evil cetra, but when in fact, they are simply the same coin. The real evil here is Shinra and Jenova, and quite possibly also humans, but the point is that everything that the planet has at its disposal is designed to combat evil and protect good - Weapons, Chaos, Summons, Minerva, they all work together to maintain balance of life and keep it sustainable.
lol I know that feeling with other videos I have wanted in the past. At least now you have it! ;) Thank you for your support, and thank you for watching!
47:55 Minerva is the Scarlett of the Cetra? Scans. I love how you go into before Crisis. Obviously I've never played it. Looking forward to Ever Crisis.
I honestly am not putting it out of possibility that one of the Remake titles will almost exclusively star Zack, effectively being a Crisis Core: Remake in the context of helping Cloud find himself when he and Tifa enter the Lifestream in Mideel.
You are an FF7 scholar my friend. How you're able to take all of this and break it down in a way that's easy to follow is something few are able to do.
Going to try and make that easier in the future. I seriously appreciate the support that you have given me Boulder! I hope that I can keep refining the videos and make them even better for you guys in the future!
@@Sleepezi I can see you becoming the FF7 equivalent that VaatiVidya is for Dark Souls & Bloodborne lore, Mossbag for Hollow Knight lore, or Alt Shift X is for A Song Of Ice And Fire lore.
@@BoulderPunch Those names are huge. I used to watch Vaati all the time. I love those videos so much. there is a lot to learn from those guys in terms of how they exacute there content. one day I can get on that level! I guess we will just have to wait and see!
Thank you so much for the encouragement! we will see what things look like in the future! But until then, thank you for watching and thank you for your support dude. Super appreciated!
My week has been absorbed with your content sleepezi!! Almost prophetic in your wisdom and research! My question is if the cetra and the planet are responsible for good and evil throughout the cycle, what role does Jenova play in all this? We seem to know so little about her and I am intensely curious to see you discuss her in later content.
Great vid once again mate :) thanks for all your hard work with this on going series. It really opens your eyes to just how much love and work has gone into the FF7 world building since it's initial release.
The greatest thing about a story is seeing the background detail in it. Sometimes its unnecessary, but then other time it really makes you just appreciate the entire package that much more! Thank you for your support! and thank you for watching!
Sleepezi. You have made me consider FFVII in a deeper way and given me greater respect for the overall direction and intricacy of the story. Whilst listening my mind drifted to sephiroth. Do you think it is feasible for sephiroth in this cycle (remake) to be looking for a way to purge jenova from the planet entirely? The planet can’t get rid of jenova itself so has settled for the cycles of destruction of rebirth. Jenova is an alien and is not part of the planets original ‘plans’ surely it would be happier if jenova was purged. Sephiroth may be manipulating the wider pantheon, who have powers in excess or complementary to his. It is not sephiroths goal to infect the life stream and leave the planet, it is jenova. Maybe the sephiroth we see at the end of remake at the edge of creation knows enough now to fully grasp jenovas manipulation of him and his inner self wants jenova gone. Jenova is a bad guy, the planet kind of is too with it’s half arsed solution to containing jenova in the cycles. Maybe sephiroth becomes the good guy, with pure motives and morally ambiguous means of achieving these goals?
Phenomenal opening! The sooner Hollywood starts court you for your skills, the sooner the movie industry bounces back!! Will comment more when I've finished this next piece of artistic glory.
Lol I am glad that you liked the opening! Thanks Jesse! I have been trying to do my part in getting people to watch your singularity video! I will be checking it out again soon just to refresh my understanding of that mind blowing perspective on time travel soon!
@@BuffaloBorgine Gackt is why genesis is disliked. I personally don't dislike the character, but most people see it as a real person inserted inside an already stablished story, and i can see how it can take someone out of the experience and break their immersion. And there's the ones that see him as a Nomura OC being intrusive in places where he doesn't belong, like the nibelheim incident.
@@Rihcterwilker That's funny, because Kojima added Mads Mikkelsen into Death Stranding and no one is irritated by that. Some people are really weird :/
@@BuffaloBorgine but DS is made to be like a movie, with supposedly good actors and all, while gackt was inserted in an already existing story. I'm also not a big fan of seeing kojima's famous friends in the game, but it was made to be like that since it's conception.
No seriously thank you guys! Its been awesome to make these videos and be able to talk to you guys about your thoughts! Thank you so much again for your support!
Since Zack is alive in a separate timeline, and since Cloud won't develop Zacks persona onto himself in that timeline, I wonder how the introduction of this alternate reality will influence the one we reside in in remake? Will there be a convergence? Would love to hear more about the Zack is alive timeline and its significance. Awesome work on the videos @Sleepezi. I've never been more hyped for the future of this game, and it's all due to yours and FFPs videos. :)
As excited as I am for this episode, please be careful of your music balancing. There are tracks that play, like at 17:53, 34:54 and 1:07:45 and again at 1:09:30 where the music is just too obnoxiously loud & it makes it hard to hear your words.
I need to make sure that I do a better job of this next time. I am really sorry that this was such an interuption. A lot of music I had to replace after a series of renders and uploads. I rushed a bit too fast to get this one up without checking it more thoroughly. I have a post it note on the screen now for the next one. Sorry for that, but thank you for letting me know, and thank you for watching!
@@domenicocozzi7318 lmao what??? u dont have an auditory processing issue and dont have an issue with the audio in the vid? i wonder how these two things correlate.
a lot of cross examining of information from Japanese text has been a big part of research on my end. That stuff takes a lot of time when your looking at 5 different games. it almost creates too much room for speculation. that being said a lot of fun to have with it too.
I really appreciate you covering all of this. Its just amazing all the connections I couldn't make because of how long its been since I played the older games. Also are you gonna cover the other centra (the one red)?
I've enjoyed these so much. 5+ hours of FF7 deep lore and theories. Yes please, thank you. Also I would probably listen to a 3 hour video about materia.
I am so glad that they can be enjoyed this way. I know that was exactly what I did on my trips to work or on lunch breaks. Thank you for listening and for your support!
0. Well, I'm a week-and-a-half late, RIP. Anyway, once again, great video Sleepezi! At this point others in the Final Fantasy theorist community have seen your videos, including Final Fantasy Peasant who talked about some of your ideas in a video recently! So, congratulations on that! 1. I'm now even more happy I asked about the Summons before! I did know about the unused text, but I didn't think it was super relevant and an idea that was never used again, but I'm happy to see I was wrong on that. (Watch the Water Altar be Alexander like you said and we have to fight it). 2. I've heard the theories that Knights of the Round are ancient Cetra warriors which would line up with this. Unfortunately, Kitase did say that the Summons in FF7 have no backstory. Fortunately, Remake shows that they do, so it's not an issue. 3. Speaking of the Summons, the Crisis Core Ultimania states that each Summon creates a pocket dimension which they have dragged their enemies into to attack. Sephiroth's Supernova does the same (and reaches out into other dimensions according to Dissidia). So, that's cool. 4. A 3 hour video on Materia when? 5. What about the Cetra wearing Red in the between the two other groups? 6. I know in "The Maiden Who Travels the Planet," Aerith actually guides Tifa into Cloud's mind to fix it while they were in the Lifestream. She also goes around to many Cetra in the Lifestream to get their help to use the Lifestream to stop Meteor. So, that's pretty neat. Also, if I remember right, the Lifestream also has different planes within itself, some of them being places without time. I don't if that's relevant or not, but I thought it was interesting. 7. I remember in one of your earlier videos, you claimed that Jenova is the true Goddess of Loveless, with wings of white and black. Are we going to have a resolution to that idea? 8. What do you think about the many things confirmed in FF7R's Ultimania? 8.1. Like the Whisper Remnants being Loz, Kadaj, and Yazoo? 8.3. Or Aerith having knowledge of future events? 8.5. Or there being many Sephiroth's (the normal Jenova-Sephiroth, Illusion Sephiroth who only Cloud can see, Clone Sephiroth where he possesses one of the many clones around, the Sephiroth seen at the end of the road and in the Singularity (who is sometimes called "Whisper-Sephiroth" by people in the community, though I think this Sephiroth could be two different ones, one at the end of the road and the other in the Singularity), the one seen at the Edge of Creation (who seems more friendly in the English and Japanese versions and, in the Japanese version, refers to himself with a pronoun he hasn't used since he fell into the Lifestream), and (I'm assuming he still exists) the Sephiroth whose body exists in the Northern Crater)? 8.6. Or that the name "Remake" has a dual meaning (the normal definition of a Remake, and one we won't know until later)? 8.7. The whole "Stamp" chip bag in the Zach scene being significant? 8.8. Remake being the 5th game in the Compilation? 8.9. And a lot of other things? 9. What do you think of the idea of multiple timelines? 10. What is the Edge of Creation, and what is its significance and purpose? 11. Uh... what do YOU personally want to see in the Remake series? 12. Uh.. how are you? How's it going? Are you doing alright? 13. Actually, quick last question, if you have an idea of it, what roughly is episode 5 going to be about? Same with the release date and length of the video? 14. Anyway, once again, another great video! I will be here for the next one as well! I feel like this series could go on forever (not that that's a bad thing)! As usual, i appreciate you taking the time to respond to as many people as possible in the comments! Have a nice day, and don't overwork/burn yourself out on this project!
Dear Sleepezi, thank you for all this hard work with your very interesting ideas and theories and the heaps of work that you put into the 4 videos so far. Although I do not agree with all of what is presented I found the idea that summons and SOLDIERs are basically the same particularly interesting. I don't know whether you are aware that in one interviews, think it was Kitase, it was mentioned that FF7 and FF10 play in the same universe. Why is this of relevance? Well during the events of FF10 the summoner and their bodyguards are supposed to collect more and stronger summons to defeat SIN, the recurring threat to the world. However at the end of the game shortly before fighting SIN, you find out that the summoner has now to choose one of the bodyguards to become the last summon to defeat SIN and that this person in the end will become new core to the reborn SIN. I think in some ways this parallels the idea of summons being strong warriors first, that later are condensed into materia to carry out the will of the planet, while Minerva functions as the "summoner" of the warriors e.g. Genesis or the WEAPONS.
That is a very interesting idea, I would love to dive into FFX in a serious way after the smoke has cleared from all the things I want to talk about the compilation. The reason I haven't really brought it up in any serious way is just because I have yet to play the game. I appreciate the insight into it though, it does seem to have some value to the overall lore and background of the game. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I know the events are at max a month apart, but I will laugh so hard if the gold dust bomb we see in Zack's scene is just Zirconiade being destroyed, and we're just seeing gold dust from both Zirconiade and Harbinger's defeat. That said since Zack survived it does mean he might have helped deal with that situation, explaining how Cloud could get his sword.
What I think is really great about this is, it gives the “Big Materia” a more unique function than just being “big materia”. In OG, Scarlet wants it to power ShinRa weapons. Once you find out ShinRa wants to get it, you set out to collect it so they can’t have it. The only Huge Materia that serves a plot function iirc is the one on the Rocket sent to meteor. The idea was to load it up with big materia and have that combustion be enough to dissolve the meteor. The idea that the Four Big Materia are actually the Materia used for Zirconiade’s summoning though, gives them a unique world function beyond that of just…existing and sitting in Bugenhagen planet-laboratory for viewing pleasure. Makes me think collecting them could be used for some really awesome super boss possibilities if they choose to go that route 👀
I will have to keep that in mind. One thing that is just difficult for me to apply is global FF knowledge. So while I am familiar with the terms, I don't know exactly what the context they have recently fit through out the universes of FF games. One day I will familiarize myself. lol hopefully Thank you though for the thought. and thanks for watching!
I notice that in the painting, there are two groups of Cetra, the grey/purple one and the yellow one. There is also the one in red in the middle. For some reasons I think red is a strange color to come by in FFVII compilation (the Zirconiade and Genesis), it seems to be the third side in between black and white (take the three SOLDIER friends as example). I think it must have a meaning on its own.
I suspec that Red represents Chaos; Zirconiade, Genesis and Vincent. Not one of them are evil in and of themselves but are manipulated to be weapons to destroy, to create death and chaos which triggers the Planet's judgement. Just yet another piece of the sequence 😅
Thank you Darth! As always I will try and do my best with the series for you guys! and glad I could get it out to you guys! Thank you as always for watching!
Also, that Painting 27:22 is indirectly, The Promise-land and or The Cosmos (The Edge of creation). Dual meaning and religious symbolism is so heavily steeped in the Canon itself. Even as simplified as saying, " The Whispers" have another name, "arbiters of fate" Another Example " Ancients" are also referred to as " The Cetra" and got a list of others. If you line that painting translucently >With< the star constellations, you'll see exactly what I mean. And it makes sense. When the planet dies it returns to the universe from which it came. I also have tons of evidence to back this up. I can share more if you're interested. One picture I have illustrates this perfectly.
YES they do! I only learned of it after the fact. its very very strange that they show up there, such an odd placement! I appreciate you giving me the heads up though! Always trying to see what people noticed that I didnt! Thanks again!
Awesome video of always, can’t wait for the next part. So much to chew on, thinking we might see some sort of an alliance between Sephiroth and Genesis and/or Minerva against our party. I’m hoping maybe we get a new summon or Alexander and/or KoTR becomes and integral part of the battle for the planet. Maybe they represent the line of Cetra aligned with Aerith that dont’t seek to annihilate humans as their means to save the planet.
It would be awesome to see some first hand integration of the Summons in Remake, sort of how that plays out in FF9 (from my understanding, which is loose) but who knows! I am always very cautious when thinking about a team up of sorts: I do think that whatever it is that Genesis represents and what Sephiroth represents are two very opposite sides. I think ultimately the similarity lies in a disregard for the safety of those who live on the planet. so similarly to the framing of Weapons and Sephiroth in the OG. But who knows. Either way I would say if there is any integration of these characters, they would all be antagonists to the party and to each other. Thank you for the comment! and thank you for watching!
Sleepezi It could be an, “enemy of my enemy is my friend type scenario” it would be epic for Cloud and crew to fight Sephiroth and Genesis teamed up. This would be totally fan service but think about a battle of Cloud and Zack vs. Sephiroth and Genesis where the consequences are either restoring the timeline/universe back to one or a huge splinter in time/reality... That might be way to fanboyish of me. Regardless, keep up the great work, I always look forward to your videos and the thoughts they provoke.
@@Sleepezi out of all the ff7 analysts I've watched over the years on youtube, you're the only one I've noticed that has been able to piece together all the ff7 related games and pinpoint all their symbolic similaries, motifs, and themes. It's been a very very enlightening experience watching all your vids. I can tell a lot of research, time and effort has been put into making such a series. Extremely informative. Thank you for making such a good series. Can't wait for the next one!
When we look at the color elements of good and evil, it seems crimson is that of servitude. Anyone "marked" with the crimson energy of the world is controlled or willed by its user. The Weapons's cores, Genesis, summon materia, Vincent/Chaos. They all have the commonality of being crimson-bound. Minerva's crown represents her dominion (water) over the balance of good and evil (purple and yellow.) Her belt and staff's orbs represent her control and command. Perhaps Minerva has some parallels to Vincent's mother. She developed ways to control the lifestream in accordance with the planet's divine will. Mineva is an arbiter, not a savior.
So what I'm getting from this cycle, the duel of beasts, the action and reaction of life and destruction is that Minerva summoned Jenova. However, Jenova is more aligned with life and Minerva is more aligned with death. Is the will of the planet that people die so it can be protected? The worlds own lifestream is full of souls... and those souls protect it.
Thank you so so much for these awesome theories! You have a really calm voice that makes it easy to follow and understand. It is always fun and entertaining listening to your videos and being like "Ohhhhh that was the meaning behind it". Again thanks for all the work and research you do! I know this might be super far away but have you read the lyrics to Gackt's Redemption song? It's the one where he also wear the Genesis outfit just with different hairstyle. Could there also be clues in it? >>Your form which returns gently to heaven [What else can I do, besides avenge you.] I watched it for the longest time, until my tears dried up. And the sorrow overflowing from the scar which can't be erased, I swore that I would never forget it. I'll flap my broken wings and erase it all some day, you'll see, Until the last bell ringing the dirge completes. [You told me to live as if you were to die tomorrow. Fail not and be what we were now Face as if we want to have forever.] Red tears traced by a trembling finger, [I had nothing to lose, nothing to lose] It crashes through the dark memories. The last smile wavered, and disappears, And the warmth is all that's left. Your kind and gentle words can't heal me now, This body's only dedicated to the never ending fight. Because everyone returns to heaven, some day, You'll never need to say goodbye. BREAK OUT I'll flap my broken wings and erase it all some day, you'll see, Until the last bell ringing the dirge completes. Your kind and gentle words can't heal me now, This body's only dedicated to the never ending fight. Redemption Redemption
First off: Thank you so much for watching! its a thrill to see that you guys enjoy them so much! Love to do the research so I don't mind. So yes, towards the end of Part 4 research I became kind of involved with a bunch of lyrics in the Compilation. This song in particular is set to be about Genesis's character. You might be seeing a video on this in the future. in short though: I think it says a lot about what exactly the mindset of the character is after the events of Crisis Core.
@@Sleepezi you're doing such great work and put in so much effort so people like me could enjoy and live a bit longer in the FF7 Remake world before we get any info about part 2. I'm looking forward to every video you upload and can't wait for the next one. Keep up being awesome! And thanks again for providing us with so much more knowledge!
1:12:00 " as he was unable to take Cloud's cells" I'm assuming this is a just mistake not meant to refer to Cloud's cells, but thought I'd address it anyway.
It sounds strange. The wording of it is very odd, but true. Genesis was actually after clouds S-Cells to stop his degrading. They try zacks DNA, but it doesn't work. The only reason their after clouds is because they haven't tried them. So there isn't any confirmation on whether they would have worked or not.
I have a different theory on Minerva, that being that Minerva is a physical manifestation of the planet, therefore the planet is shown to communicate directly with genesis; also the only time known in canon that the planet communes with a non Cetra. Curious to hear your thoughts on this one. Also have a theory that jenova is infact another planets omega weapon; hence the negative lifestream. 2 lifestreams cannot exist on a singular celestial body, which is why the planet is essentially at war with itself; positive lifestream Vs. negative lifestream
@@truebigboss jenovas negative life stream (infected with geostigma) and parasitic characteristics actually work very similarly to the planets lifestream.
@@The_winds_of_change jenovas negative lifestream is planets OG lifestream only corrupted and taken over. Think of negative lifestream as covid-19 and Jenova as Wuhan, it spreads from a source and taking over existing life.
Your videos are next to none in quality and content. Can't wait for the next one any updates on when that will be? I'm checking my account everyday in hopes
Been trying to be way more selective on the choices I make for part 5. since the start of this series there have been a number of very interesting lore revelations here and there, and making sure that the thoughts are fully explored is very important to keeping these videos at the top of their game is important. So until I feel that the quality of 5 is the strongest it can be we will have to see when. But rest assured as soon as there is something to say I will let all of you know!
These videos got me thinking. If there’s a greater life stream that flows through the cosmos... could THAT lifestream give birth to Weapons if threatened? Could that be the true origin of the calamity that fell from the heavens? Seeing how far the planet goes to defend itself, the idea of what the grand lifestream can do is mind bending.
well it was confirmed in the original game by the developers that the ending we got was "the bad ending" so if this is to redefine the entire thing as a whole i am definitely interested to see how this all plays out
I just found something randomly interesting on the Wiki: ". The book of Jenova was said to have been written by the Cetra and known in the legends as both the "Book of God" and the "Book of the Devil" detailing everything unknown of the human brain (or genes)." Strange that in the painting in the ShinRa building, the Cetra are also holding books. Could it be a callback?
I actually stumbled upon that a bit ago while digging through old concepts, the reason I didnt is because I didnt want to bring too many concepts into the mix during this video, I do think it has a lot of insight to a jenova convo though! ; )
1.5 hours of niche/obscure ff7 extended universe lore theory crafting?
What did I do to deserve such a gift? Is it my birthday?
It is my birthday tomorrow as well LOL
Happy Birthday!!!

@@Sleepezi It was a great video man, well done. I like where you're going with a lot of this stuff. Whatever actually happens with the remake series I'm taking some of your theories into my headcanon
Sleepezi should sell shirts with his logo on the front that say "What if I told you...". I'd buy one.
I can't wait for Part 5 where Sleepezi begins:
"What if I told you FFVII Compilation is actually a historical record of the actual planet Earth, predicted every tragedy since it's release, and predicts the end of the known universe?"
I honestly would not even be surprised.
Well that ain’t far from the truth since the only thing that needs to happen is for all covid patients to get white hair and green cat eyes along with black rashes all over their body🤣
Lol well I guess I don't need to make a part 5 now. XD

I have been an FF7 fan since 97, I have played this game is different stages of my life as I get older. Every time I do it I get something different from it. But what you are doing with all these theories is just absolutely awesome. Thank you for taking the time to answer questions that I have always had about this game.
Your entire theory series so far has perhaps been the best theory crafting I've seen thus far for FF7. Seriously kudos!
Thank you for saying so! I truly enjoy making them for you guys!
Thank you for your support!
You only watched this one? 😂
My excitement level went through the roof when I saw this notification! Let's Go!!
I am hyped because you are hyped! LETS GO!!!!
Thank you for watching!

This.
lol thanks for watching
Bruh I'm wrecked only 18 mins in
THANK YOU. He also his enunciation is ridiculous. It was killing me
Or take a shot everytime minerva shows up 😂
Phew finished watching it, this is what's on my mind.
I can't wait to hear back! I hope it is well worth the wait!
@@Sleepezi TOTALLY was! We just finished it. Here is the question we pose:
Here's an interesting theory: You say Fuhito , Genesis, and even by that notion Sephiroth, after gaining the knowledge of the ancients, are flooded with the idea of their own purpose; to bring forward some form of destruction to the planet.
Now I really want to see a rematch between Genesis and Sephiroth
This whole channel is a goldmine, i sincerely hope you are proud of the art you make
I almost never get into theory videos but I'm totally obsessed with these... Can't wait to watch this tonight man, amazing content!!!
Thank you so much for your support! I hope you enjoy the video!
At the end of all of this you need to do a recap of every part. This is just so much info! Either way, this was fantastic yet again!
YES!!!! Thanks for the shout out bud! I’m so excited.
Of course dude! thanks for the engaging conversation! Can't wait to talk to you again!
Good work man, your killing it
Appreciate people taking the journey through the videos! just super glad that you are enjoying them!
Somehow you managed to make Genesis sound actually cool and not mind-bogglingly lame. That is a huge feat.
I did always hope a future compilation would have Genesis and Sephiroth return with different goals and the main party get caught in the middle.
Rewatched everything from part 1, picked up so much that I missed the first time just like I do every play through I do of Remake, easily the best and most interesting breakdown of any game lore ever, patiently waiting for 5 dude keep it up

Good work
Nice one again hehe though I must say, too much small details added again Some reaction hope you won’t mind.
Literally this is the only channel i've ever given thumbs up to before the video even starts
Please do a video “Aerith’s childhood mural decoded”
Ooooh, something to watch after work. Wewt! Still believe it's a sequel to AC! But reminding me of all the stuff from Crisis Core.... It makes Zack being alive a really interesting wrinkle.
Its going to be very illuminating to see what the point of Zack is in the future. Only time will tell!
Thank you for watching!
Salvation or doom, we must be free.”
Part One’s ending thematically references this, but I think the grander design will reinforce it.
I wish they would offer us a Loveless Book in the next game's deluxe edition hehehe
I would buy 10 lol
Or at the very least a cinematic of the play advertised in posters all over Midgar.
If its leather hard cover im putting in my house and its my new bible.
It would be 4 pages long, a sentence for each page lol
watched all your vids!
I'm mad I'm just getting notifications for this video when I been checking your channel frequently these last few days

After watching this video Zack is going to play a major/important role in later games
I honestly am not putting it out of possibility that one of the Remake titles will almost exclusively star Zack, effectively being a Crisis Core: Remake in the context of helping Cloud find himself when he and Tifa enter the Lifestream in Mideel.
Rhomagus Asclepiot I really hope it will happen
You are an FF7 scholar my friend. How you're able to take all of this and break it down in a way that's easy to follow is something few are able to do.

Great vid once again mate :) thanks for all your hard work with this on going series. It really opens your eyes to just how much love and work has gone into the FF7 world building since it's initial release.

Cant wait to see the reunion between Zack and Genesis
Came back from vacation to find this, as well written as the others, keep up your good work, locking forward to your next one
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you enjoyed your break too!

Genesis is somehow hated by the majority of the FFVII community, I don't know why. So many of them don't want to believe that Genesis will be back. :(
@@BuffaloBorgine Gackt is why genesis is disliked. I personally don't dislike the character, but most people see it as a real person inserted inside an already stablished story, and i can see how it can take someone out of the experience and break their immersion.

Just a reminder that the remake’s English translation is a little questionable. The whole edge of creation stuff changes everything in Japanese.
a lot of cross examining of information from Japanese text has been a big part of research on my end.

21:44 big huge materia. Yeah those are huge alright 😂
Man that genesis segment gave me goosebumps holy shit
Simply wow. So much mental candy in this vid. And an art piece to boot!
Dear Sleepezi,
thank you for all this hard work with your very interesting ideas and theories and the heaps of work that you put into the 4 videos so far.
Is there going to be a part 5 do you have a patron whenever the next video comes out let me know I'll throw some bucks in it
Sleepezi, consider that the cetra are depictions of black, white and red mages.
I will have to keep that in mind. One thing that is just difficult for me to apply is global FF knowledge. So while I am familiar with the terms, I don't know exactly what the context they have recently fit through out the universes of FF games.
One day I will familiarize myself. lol hopefully
Thank you though for the thought.
and thanks for watching!
@@jintym2951 That is a nice explanation. Like white and black are against each other and red is the one who is set to settle the conflict.
Red is the balance between classic black and white mages

@@Sleepezi Can you do a discussion/analysis of Zack and Aeriths relationship?
You said it was very interesting
Also, that Painting 27:22 is indirectly, The Promise-land and or The Cosmos (The Edge of creation).
Dual meaning and religious symbolism is so heavily steeped in the Canon itself. Even as simplified as saying, " The Whispers" have another name, "arbiters of fate"
Another Example " Ancients" are also referred to as " The Cetra" and got a list of others.
If you line that painting translucently >With< the star constellations, you'll see exactly what I mean. And it makes sense. When the planet dies it returns to the universe from which it came. I also have tons of evidence to back this up.
I can share more if you're interested. One picture I have illustrates this perfectly.
I would love to see it!

Very nice theories u got going on here. What is the version of the song thats playing around 35:25?
The...The Sauce!
Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children soundtrack Water: its half way through the song, its easy to miss! Enjoy!
Yess. I've been waiting patiently for this.
hopefully that patience paid off for you! Thank you for watching!
Minerva's crown represents her dominion (water) over the balance of good and evil (purple and yellow.)
Her belt and staff's orbs represent her control and command.
The worlds own lifestream is full of souls... and those souls protect it.
god thank you so much for doing this amazing analysis series ♥️
I am more than glad to do so for you guys!
Thank you for watching!
Nice work! You just made my day with this upload sir.
I am glad that I could contribute to your day in a positive way! Thank you for watching!
>>Your form which returns gently to heaven
[What else can I do, besides avenge you.]
I watched it for the longest time, until my tears dried up.
And the sorrow overflowing from the scar which can't be erased,
I swore that I would never forget it.
I'll flap my broken wings and erase it all some day, you'll see,
Until the last bell ringing the dirge completes.
[You told me to live as if you were to die tomorrow.
Fail not and be what we were now
Face as if we want to have forever.]
Red tears traced by a trembling finger,
[I had nothing to lose, nothing to lose]
It crashes through the dark memories.
The last smile wavered, and disappears,
And the warmth is all that's left.
Your kind and gentle words can't heal me now,
This body's only dedicated to the never ending fight.
Because everyone returns to heaven, some day,
You'll never need to say goodbye.
BREAK OUT
I'll flap my broken wings and erase it all some day, you'll see,
Until the last bell ringing the dirge completes.
Your kind and gentle words can't heal me now,
This body's only dedicated to the never ending fight.

Best FF7 remake content on the web 👍
1:12:00 " as he was unable to take Cloud's cells" I'm assuming this is a just mistake not meant to refer to Cloud's cells, but thought I'd address it anyway.
It sounds strange. The wording of it is very odd, but true.
Genesis was actually after clouds S-Cells to stop his degrading. They try zacks DNA, but it doesn't work. The only reason their after clouds is because they haven't tried them. So there isn't any confirmation on whether they would have worked or not.
@@Sleepezi really? wow all this time I didn't know that.
Jenova didnt come with lifestream tho, she is a virus that corrupts lifestream and living things
Imagine if Genesis + Zack is playable at some point in FF7REMAKE.
That would be awesome
This would be sweet, just a segment would be nice for Genesis! but to play Zack again would be an awesome treat!
Why do I feel like Tyrone Biggums?
"Y'all got any more of them theories?"
*scratches neck*
"Oh come on, just a little lore video."
These videos got me thinking. If there’s a greater life stream that flows through the cosmos... could THAT lifestream give birth to Weapons if threatened? Could that be the true origin of the calamity that fell from the heavens?
Seeing how far the planet goes to defend itself, the idea of what the grand lifestream can do is mind bending.
well it was confirmed in the original game by the developers that the ending we got was "the bad ending" so if this is to redefine the entire thing as a whole i am definitely interested to see how this all plays out
Damn nearly spilt my coffee when I saw this video came out
lol I need some of that myself right about now.
Thank you for watching! hope you enjoyed!
I just found something randomly interesting on the Wiki:
". The book of Jenova was said to have been written by the Cetra and known in the legends as both the "Book of God" and the "Book of the Devil" detailing everything unknown of the human brain (or genes)."
Strange that in the painting in the ShinRa building, the Cetra are also holding books. Could it be a callback?
I actually stumbled upon that a bit ago while digging through old concepts, the reason I didnt is because I didnt want to bring too many concepts into the mix during this video, I do think it has a lot of insight to a jenova convo though! ; )
