So, has Peter Parker ever had a classmate that turned out normal? It seems they all either got super powers, got involved with super people, or turned out to be aliens. Was there anyone from that class who just simply graduated, worked a normal nine to five job, and moved to the suburbs?
Though it's even better if it's a bad comic, and Maso is explaining it to James, because then we get to hear James break down with laughter. Those are the best times.
I love the Kelly run, but I'd argue that the Duggan/Poseehn run is superior because it's more consistent. Towards the end the Kelly run kind of goes off the rails
LedPESRule That's my 2nd favorite run! I really liked how they artfully jettisoned a lot of the baggage that Deadpool had accumulated up to that point. And I agree about the end of Kelly's run. It would have stayed excellent if he hadn't tried to jam pack all his ideas for the extended storyline into his last few issues.
That Duggan run is really awesome, hell, it's what got me into comics! Didn't know about the baggage and all that at the time, but in retrospect I can totally appreciate it, it was needed. And yeah, the Kelly run gets a little too weird and nonsensical for it's own good towards the last quarter... That "chosen alien" or whatever plot was a little too grand, overly serious and at the same time stupid for me, but some clever twists and approaches made it rather good/fine in the end... What really soured it for me was that moronic resolution to the story of his antagonist, what was his name, T-Bone..?
The Kelly run was the best in my opinion. Back then the fact that Deadpool was still a fairly obscure character kinda helped. Now that he's more mainstream a lot of his stories feel forced. Joe Kelly was clearly just having fun with a title he fully expected to get cancelled any day.
Blind Al bemoaning that MJ is "on the crack" when she starts randomly dancing in Aunt May's parlor is still one of the all-time great comic book moments.
This is mental. I've restarted listening through your older podcasts and on episode 77 or something you delve into the stories of Spider-man and this one is mentioned heavily. Find it funny that there's a hell of a lot of references appearing now that was mentioned back then. Thought I'd share that with you.
I read all of Deadpool’s 90’s run (and on through Cable & Deadpool) like ten years ago. The Great Lakes Avengers stories were weird, but I loved this one.
Just started to read comic books after several years, so im reatching every comic book related Caravan of garbage. Please do more, please please please.
It's awesome to see that you're back doing Caravan of Garbage about comics and movies and all that, it's much more your area of expertise and it shows, they are way more funny and enjoyable than the game ones
This could basically only work on a comic the way it is but I think this could be a perfect way to introduce deadpool in the MCU now we know they aren’t changing deadpool maybe exchange Spiderman with an original avenger though.
Sad part is I don't know what's parody and what's actually from the genuine "outdated even for the time" Stan Lee/JRSR stuff. Wonderful video as always fellas.
Do you stretch before and after exercise?
Mr Sunday Movies I thought stretching was exercise. I can always just stretch more then
what is exercise?
Only before cardio... and during because I'm most likely having an asthma attack
Mr Sunday Movies definitely before after is called soreness which can only be cured by stretching. So yes.
If you stretch before the muscles are warm, you could pull something! I circumvent the problem by never exercising

I will look into this, however it may take me another 4 years to find out.

3:19 this made me get up and open my door you pranksters
Get a less cliched doorbell?
I kid. I don't even have a doorbell.
I'm lucky to have a door.
Who can forget Doorman?!
Doorman is now my friend's favorite Marvel character
THAT's who that was!!!
+Grouchy Puff GREAT LAKES FTW
I thought it might have been that spot guy from the 90s spiderman show, but doorman sounds good
@@jordanscott4543 The comic took place during the time the teams membership changed a bit and they temporarily became The Lightning Rods.
the comic Caravan Of Garbage are the best
Totally agreed, it really shows that it's more up their alley than the game ones

The Joe Kelly run of Deadpool is still the best.
I love the Kelly run, but I'd argue that the Duggan/Poseehn run is superior because it's more consistent.

Secret Ansem Report 12 Get!
Ayyyyy
This was truly fantastic!
How many editors have been sacrificed these last few months to maintain this quality level?
8:30 is that the fucking jazz music from that one sonic game where he becomes a furry
Furry^2
+TrueBlue is correct.
"Ughh nice head sir" 😂😂😂😂
Blind Al bemoaning that MJ is "on the crack" when she starts randomly dancing in Aunt May's parlor is still one of the all-time great comic book moments.
2:25 bro that Fortnite sound when your partner goes down lmaoo
this is such a good issue, plus Weekly Planet #76 callback!
That Google search made me laugh
The way it almost gave up partway through, then finally continued less enthusiastically. It was a character in itself!
8:27 Excellent use of some... Sonic Unleashed music? That unlocked some deep memories.
I remember when this issue came out. I was already dinging Joe Kelly's run, but this issue helped cement it as one of my all-time faves!
Norman Osborn had "finger waves" way before that were fashionable. :D
The editing in this is God tier
Really want you guys to do an episode of the podcast on Batman: The Animated Series. Its real good.
Your guy's editor is just amazing. Definitely keeps the viewer entertained
That mind = blown meme with Hanson playing in the background is hilariously delicious.

We need a Spiderman vs Nipples McGoo movie NOW.
this felt like a 3minute video. so funny
It did go very fast.
NICK MASO IS JAMES’ SON FROM THE FUTURE
Man i wish they stuck with old story for the movie. Such a good character, he was the character you loved to hate.
When you Said you were going to do a comic I bloody know it would be this one.... *Stan Lee voice* I LOVE IT
This is the best not because of Deadpool but because of the comic
I am really happy you guys are covering this. I've been fortunate enogh to read this.
This entire vid was put together by angels of the past sent from the future. The Atreus thing at the end was the shit
That Sonic Unleashed music through me for a loop. What an oddly perfect music choice
If you took anything from this video kids, just remember when in doubt
CUT HIS THROAT

Those comic animations are beautiful
Ben really went for it with the Second glance Reference.
4:00 - his name is doorman and he’s freaking awesome.

I read all of Deadpool’s 90’s run (and on through Cable & Deadpool) like ten years ago. The Great Lakes Avengers stories were weird, but I loved this one.

The fucking Sonic Unleashed music is too unbelievably fitting
The Osborn hair cracked me up so hard

How dare you forget Doorman. He's my favourite superhero
Caravan of garbage: everything deadpool has ever been in.
There's a great black Panther comic by Christopher Priest where he's thrust into an old thor comic
I'm secretly hoping that Mr Sunday is a Game Grumps fan and the Sonic Unleashed playthrough inspired his use of the Jazz band at 8:20
Editing in this one was a riot, solid work Ben
Please do more comicbook caravan of garbage, its another level!!!!!!
I hope those God of War gifs at the end mean some sort of discussion soon

I knew I find you guys rapping with the Rubes
1997 - Deadpool was at his Deadpooliest while Venom was brawling with Arach-No-Balls and Stigmata. What a magical time.
Whats with the God of War at the end
That's exactly what I was thinking. Maybe a hint for the next Caravan of Garbage?
Darth Vraak like a god of war comic or maybe just ascension cause that game was garbage
Could be. There's probably some little known obscure GoW-expanded universe stuff out there that lends itself to this series.
what are those gifs even from though? definitely not the actual game
Patrick Munroe I think they were actually from Santa Monica Studios when the game launched
That zebra bite. HAHAHHAHAHA
I love these comic book ones
whoever threw away that pizza should be forced to live in the wilderness
There's been more time since this deadpool issue than there was between this deadpool issue and that Spider-Man issue
This could basically only work on a comic the way it is but I think this could be a perfect way to introduce deadpool in the MCU now we know they aren’t changing deadpool maybe exchange Spiderman with an original avenger though.
I really need to read this one. They also really need to make an animated version of this.

That 60s osborn hair is truly upsetting
I’ve read this one, it’s one of my favourites
I always thought that Harry’s hair was meant to be really tight close-cropped ginger ringlets or something.
I have this issue hanging on my wall, right by New Mutants #98. It's one of my favorites!
