@@team3383 I agree it's ridiculous that the prosecution gave Brian such a sweet deal. It's frustrating when the prosecution just focuses everything on flipping one person and going after the other, with no regard to who is more culpable. It's just lazy. It's the easiest way to get a conviction but at the cost of letting the killer off easy.
Tbh I think the case against Denise sounds extremely weak. It's all based on Brian's testimony and his testimony is basically "I brought him out there, I shot him, I hid the body, but Denise told me to do it."

I read a while ago that Denise was mad at the Mom for continuing to search for Mike & advocate for reopening his investigation, so she restricted her visitation with the baby. It wasn’t enough that she killed the woman’s son, she took her only grandbaby away from her, too. So, she couldn’t even find comfort in the company of Mike’s daughter all these yrs. What an evil, petty, cruel woman! She got exactly what she deserved. I hope Mike’s Mom & daughter are able to come together & find peace with each other. RIP Mike🕊.

@Kitten Lyric You seem to be really adamant with your view as you've replied the same thing to multiple comments now. You think this somehow has to do with sex of the person or something. Without him, there would have been no justice at all. They had to offer him immunity because that was the only thing that would get him to give up the location of the body. It sucks, but I'd rather him get immunity so Mike's mom and loved ones can get closure. Also so that snake of a wife of his to get punished as well. Karma will come to Brian in the end.

@@gomahklawm4446 This is clear. Especially from the point of view of the prosecutors. Family members though may well have been dissatisfied with Winchester not being charged at all for blasting Mike Williams in the face with a shotgun. Truly getting away with murder. Remember, the kidnapping beef was a completely separate case and already settled.
You can't get much more 'premeditated' than this murder. There's a case to argue it was planned two years in advance.

From what her grandmother was saying since very young she grew up not knowing her father's side of family. By all accounts she grew up with love and care from her mother and stepfather and has had an effluent life. She would not have any memory of her father since she was a baby then. If you want to feel sorry for someone, Mike never got to be around his child, never got to live a full life and how his family grieved for him. I also feel for Brian, how he must have been tormented by the guilt that eventually led to the story came to light.
