Impressed at how swiftly the Aussie police leaped into action when she had only been "missing" hours. The first 24 hours are vital. Seen so many cases in the US where they do sweet FA for weeks or months.
Allison, rest her soul, was white & attractive. The Queensland cops, hell, Australian cops, aren't so quick off the mark if the missing person is, say indigenous.

@Luke Gill, mate I was exactly the same, thinking, not sure if this is the kind of subject matter you want to be joking around with and now I'm breaking out the twirling bow tie and clown shoe's every time I watch!
I agree. My God if a person doesn't want to be with someone why not just say so, split the property and divorce or leave?? Murder is not worth prison or the death penalty. Live and let live. Money seems to be the basis for some murders sadly. This man makes me sick with the fake act of being upset and close to tears.
@Cheri ST. John I can totally see why people would kill their wives instead of divorcing. It’s a pretty reasonable motive. A lot of people don’t want to give half of all their shit to their ex wife/husband. You don’t understand how people can be greedy?
@Alex F Let's be real. It's not all men and just a handful of women, but you are right all humans have the potential to be pieces of shit. However, the STATISTICS show that the majority of men are the culprits in these murders. On a related note (about men) Do you know STATISTICALLY pregnant women are more likely to be murdered during this time....by whom? MEN Testoserone (I'm assume that is the main difference between men and women-with many having way more of it than women do), is one powerful chemical. That coupled with more brute strength...you get these stats.
Alex F Based on stats that one Australian woman per week is killed by her partner I’d say there is definitely an alarming trend towards this sort of violence
"Hell, even Charlie loved it!" Mike also has an adorable cat? And here I was thinking he couldn't be more amazing. This is such a sad case; Allison seemed like such an incredible person, her family and children must miss her so much.
The bride looks like the daughter of the Joker and the bridesmaid looks like she got 2nd place in the who's gonna marry him and honestly that pic makes her a major suspect!
Anyone else out there tired of "I went to bed and in the morning my (spouse, wife, lover, girlfriend, etc.) was gone...?" Duh. Love & appreciate your sense of humor & sarcasm!! 😂❤️
Of all the cases where it's obvious the husband murdered his wife, this one in particular just has me _seething._ That car bullshit is just...ugh, I want this waste of life to see justice soooo bad.
OMG YES! Just get a fucking divorce, being broke is better than dbl pole skiing in prison! These guys make me sick, ill never understand how a "man" can hurt a person they at one point did love.. i dont like my ex wife she cheated, stole and many other things but i cud NEVER hurt my children that way!!
When the people who really love you hate the person you're with, RUN! They are seeing things you, in your hormone fog, are not. They want the best for you, trust their instincts. This happens so much, so much pain could be avoided if folks would listen when everyone is telling them their partner is bad news.
This could not be more true! My baby sister married a real P.O.S. who I told her before she married him that he was too much like our a$$hole father who was a hardcore alcoholic. Sure enough after about ten years of not so blissful marriage she finally found out just how much like our alcoholic father her now ex-husband actually was!!! But little sis has never taken anything her big sis ever told her!!! SMDH!!!
Narcissistic traits are evident, if you know the signs; they know what personality type to target, and the charming, lovebombing stage is when the control of your mind starts. They target extremely empathetic people, which is ironic since they lack that quality, but learn how to fake it, when it benefits them. Nasty personality disorder, that destroys a victims mental health and well-being. It is a struggle to escape from their control.
When this happened I remember yelling/crying at the TV screaming "Noooo he's a f@*king murderer!" My husband thought I was being murdered and raced out to the lounge room to make sure I was okay!!
Its really good to hear the cops wanted to "ramp it up" so soon after his call. Cops here are like "she's been been gone 12hrs and there's blood everywhere?...gotta wait 48 hours!" Smh
@@sassykat2587 Yeah I'm gratified, as a former Queenslander, that they did such a good job. Pity he managed to hide her long enough that her cause of death was hard to determine. I think the sentence should/could have been much harsher if there'd been more evidence. Also it's a pity they couldn't pin something on that horrible Toni woman, she was the cause of all the trouble.
All of Australia thought he had killed her right from the start. His media interviews were sus as. Fortunately he has been copping a flogging in prison.
Or when cops asked "did you sleep together last night?" (with the wife), and he said "I don't know really, I'm a heavy sleeper..." How could you not know?!

wow, so weird that you're covering a case that hits so close to home. i live in brisbane and went to school with allison's niece. that poor family, we thought gerard was sketchy from the first police interview.
Really can't be underestimated how big this case was for us. It was constant news coverage and rumours but I know we all felt he was guilty as sin from the start. That time before he was arrested was just filled with rumours
Selfish psychopaths and sociopaths….sociopaths have no real emotion which is why they are extremely selfish and self absorbed. They have no feelings to care for anyone else but themselves….so sad what he did to this woman 😡
Nope. None of us thought dingoes - in Brookfield? For real? EEEVERYONE thought it was the husband. It was just so painfully obvious, despite Baden-Clay mentioning his wife's depression and medication use as if she may have chosen to end her own life... I think he was acting pretty suss from the start.
Yeah I did. Turns out it doesn't matter that much. I'd watched enough of these programs to know to put the body somewhere it'd NEVER be found. And....SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE!
All mine are anime moment compilations, hardcore/melodic hardcore promotion labels, and the score esports. I think they would have a harder time believing I was married to begin with. Not the best touch, but I bet he thinks his waifu would stop being his waifu if he did something heinous." "Fucking weeb."
I was watching her on inside edition, no comment section, had to leave it so as to find a place where people actually say their minds concerning this woman and she was not remorseful.

I remember my Dad used to live about 5 minutes from where she was found. We were on the way to dinner, driving over that bridge & he goes “Thats where she was found” & I got chills. This would’ve been maybe a year since she went missing.
Imagine the kids: "Well my dad's charges were just downgraded from murder to manslaughter so things are looking up". On a serious note I feel terrible for those kids. I can only hope they are able to grow up and overcome all the trauma.
When women who are alone are advised to leave a mark with nails or keys you wonder what the world is coming to, yet in this case I’m so glad Allison did. This was constantly in the papers in Australia, having watched him on tv I can now see why. He looks so guilty. Also I would never believe anything published in the Australian Women's Weekly.
Leaves in her hair from the garden she gave life couldn't be washed away , like the hands of her deceiver washed clean, but clean deceives as well. Leaves in her hair, that never left her alone knew they were special, these leaves like no other but only from Allison's garden. Rip..
@@deliriumsrealm8619 That was awesome. However, when they brought that up as thought it incriminates him, I thought, Ya know, it doesnt really incriminate HIM. She could have gone out into the yard and been attacked by anyone and then dragged away, ya know? Far less likely, but still....beyond all reasonable doubt.
The moment I heard him talk to the emergency line agent, I knew he'd obviously committed or arranged her murder: he sounded excessively defensive, unsure whether to dispatcher his name, gave vague answers to concrete questions, sounded bland and unconcerned with wife's missing, etc.
Recently had case in US, too lazy to Google name, where the husband gave a terrible interview after his wife was missing (nervous, smiling, flat, ended interview abruptly). Everyone said guilty, including whole RUclips videos. Days later the wife’s best friend was arrested with the wife’s body in her car and having taken her newborn. This guy is guilty, I believe, but to say “you know” by one phone call is irresponsible.

lol. Or blood on their clothes or a million other places that usually gets found. At least the old time criminals just had to deal with the scratches and blood stains could have been from anywhere.
