A little context on Cable - He is the son of X-Man Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey's clone). In the comics, Mister Sinister infected baby Cable with the Techno-Organic Virus. That's why he has the metallic parts all over his body. Cyclops decided to send baby Cable into the future for a possible cure but Cable has grown up to become among the most powerful of the X-Men. He manages the virus via telekinesis (inherited from his mom) as well as a powerful optic system (from his dad). Ironically, the virus augmented Cable's strength, speed, durability, and endurance to superhuman levels.

He had an assortment of super powers from other mutants, his mouth was shut so as to not be able to speak even though he is known as "The Merc with a Mouth". It was bad. The scene with Ryan Reynolds looking over the script titled "Green Lantern" is referencing the movie of the same name that he did in 2011 that was also not very well received. Some of the issues were bad script writing, rushed plot, CGI animated green costume, a villain that was poorly adapted, and a post credit scene that was nonsensical. So Deadpool was killing Ryan Reynolds to stop him from making the Green Lantern film. Fun fact: That is actually the second reference you girls have seen for Green Lantern. In the first Deadpool movie when Wade was being wheeled into the testing area where he meets Ajax aka Francis and he says "Don't make the super suit green...or animated" was referring to the Green Lantern CGI costume.

Theres actually 3 different versions of this movie floating around, one of which is a rip off the Princess Bride. Personally I pre the Cinema release just for the Aha unplugged version of 'Take on me' playing over his big death scene with Vanessa. Beautiful. Really didn't appreciate the soundtrack change

Theres actually 3 different versions of this movie floating around, one of which is a rip off the Princess Bride. They cut it up to get a family friendly rating then had to do a fair bit of work to fill in the large amount of stuff they cut. Personally I pre the Cinema release just for the Aha unplugged version of

Fun fact: the guy who plays “Cable", the man that can time travel and has the robot arm, is in a classic childhood movie from the 80s called "The Goonies” which u guys should checkout. The part where him and Deadpool are fighting in the truck and Deadpool calls him "One eyed Willy" is a direct reference to "The Goonies" movie. If you guys decide to checkout "The Goonies", keep an eye out for the older brother (his name is Brandon or Brand) of the main character, that’s the same guy as cable. But WAY younger😂

I definitely recommend watching the first 3 X-Men films, X-Men Origins Wolverine(to see that previous scene of wolverine and bad Deadpool together and learn a bit more about the characters), The Wolverine, and Logan(though it may confuse you now with the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie coming out soon). Great movie and “the Vanisher” was played by Brad Pitt, That’s why you thought he was gorgeous. And he called Cabel Thanos, because it’s the same actor that played Thanos! And at the end, he went back to all his crappy movies that he came out with in real life like the one with wolverine, and killed himself in all of them just like he finished the Green Lantern script and then he killed himself “Ryan Renolds in real life” and said you’re welcome Canada. The actor who played The Vanisher is Brad Pitt, a super famous A list actor, which is itself the joke having someone so famous and handsome play a character who's invisible. Supposedly Brad Pitt agreed to the cameo role if Ryan Reynolds (Dead Pool) agreed to deliver him a coffee personally.
Also when Dead Pool calls Cable "Thanos", the joke is because the same actor who plays Cable also played Thanos.
Two more Steven Spielberg movies you should watch, definitely “ET the extra terrestrial”, you can’t go your life without watching ET, and if you want “The Goonies”, it’s a really fun film. Also a great movie to get some massive reactions from you would be “American History X”, with Edward Norton in it, it is just an outright amazing story from beginning to end. Just like Shawshank redemption is great from beginning to end, but it’s nothing like Shawshank, although he does do some jail time.
