The "like, subscribe, comment, bell" thing is one of things i refer to as the sacraments of the internet. If you say them passionately and often enough, the internet corporate government gods will bless with meager gifts of views, agorithmic appeasement, and ad revenue. I refuse to say it. People are free to do what they choose, and do not need to be reminded of something so banal. If we want a better future, lets start with losing the internet sacraments.
Fun fact the actor that played Cable said that you could tell that Ryan Reynolds was in shape during the film. He said that on the Avengers sets before anyone got in their costumes you could tell they hadn't been working out for their roles but with Ryan it was obvious.
Ryan Reynolds is the only one that could do these movies. His comedic timing, sarcastic and off point comments put the perfect exclamation point on the character. And the 4th wall breaks are sheer perfection.
Couldn't agree more! He is the perfect choice to play the character. And he truly cares about the quality of these movies. Can't wait for DP3 he's been more involved in that than any of the previous films.
If there is any actor in Hollywood today that was born to play one role, it's Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool! The ONLY thing missing from the comic books is DP's inner monologue which has 2 distinct personalities that argue with each other alot.
Brad Pitt got paid a cup of coffee to do that one scene and the 2 guys that was having a conversation before Cable showed was Allan Tudyk and Matt Damon

@@SJ-GodofGnomes21 exactly! it's not actually luck, it just looks like it is unbelievable luck. Plus she can't control it consciously. Btw, I actually think Deadpool and Domino is an amazing duo. They are both professional mercenaries and Deadpool is one of the few people who can reliably survive fighting alongside Domino for extended periods of time. Together they are pretty much murderous chaos incarnate.
It's the worst case of race swapping. Domino looks better in the comics: totally white skin with a solid black eye patch(?), reversing the colors was a stupid (DEI inspired) move. The actress was fucked over and she should've researched her character. Also, in the New Mutant (vol.1) comics Domino isn't Domino, it's Vanessa posing as Domino (she's a shapeshifting mutant) and the real Dom first appears in X-Force (vol.1). This is probably going to be addressed in Deadpool 3 from the sounds of Vanessa's character being totally different and the film being about cleaning up the mess left behind from the MCU rewriting major comic events, changing characters and the multiverse confusion of everything (for example: is the MCU Earth-616...???)
In the comics Captain America, Wolverine and Deadpool all have a kind of friend group. They have a bit of a bond because the mutant experiments that created wolverine and Deadpool were inspired by the super soldier experiments. So was the gamma ray experiment that created the hulk. Without the success of captain america alot of other superheroes wouldn't exist
@@OfficialMediaKnights Deadpool has a really wholesome moment with Cap in the comics too. Growing up, Wade always admired Cap and kinda fanboyed over him. When they actually met, Deadpool literally couldn't speak. Cap's one of the only Marvel characters who not only tolerates Deadpool, but is nice to him too.
I really loved that they didnßt make Deadpool goof around when killing the attackers at his home. He got super serious, no comedy, no jokes, no toying around with the assailants. They attacked his home and were a danger to his loved one and that brought out the "other real" Wade Wilson for that minute until he thought her to be out of danger.
Damn I just realized now that even here he teased the Deadpool & Wolverine movie… When talking to Logan he goes “One day your old pal Wade is going to ask you to get back in the saddle again… and when he does, say yes” Kind of disappointed it took me this long😅
"One Eyed Willy" was a common euphemism for a dick long before The Goonies was created, and that's what The Goonies was referencing when _it_ used the phrase.
Bravo to Ryan Reynolds for really just, embodying The Merc with a Mouth, in the same energy that Hugh gave to The Wolverine. Deadpool 3 is going to be crazy fun !
There’s an alternate version called Once Upon A Deadpool. After Fox got bought by Disney, as a joke, they released a family-friendly version for Christmas, with the more extreme violence and cussing cut and to make up for it, they added scenes spoofing The Princess Bride where Deadpool kidnaps the now grown up Fred Savage, ties him to the bed and reads him the script to Deadpool 2 out of a storybook
This movie is so epically… epic. It’s a combo of the ridiculousness of airplane, action like expendable… and heart like a dogs purpose. 2nd superhero movie to give me tears but first to give tears and rewind worthy laughter
Fun fact: The David Bowie comment in the movie was a post production addition, when they had to reshoot a couple scenes it was around the time Bowie had just died so they added it in.
The line Deadpool says to Domino about the comic book artist not being able to draw feet, is a real bit of trivia. The comic book artist that created Deadpool is someone named, Rob Liefeld, and he was very “famous” for not being able to do a good job of drawing character’s feet, so he would usually not draw them at all, or half-ass them. If you Google ‘Rob Liefeld and Captain America’, you’ll see a perfect example of why so many people were never that impressed with his artwork.
He's also notorious for filling his characters with belts and pockets, among other things. Love him or hate him though, he made these pretty cool characters. :D
That one's really interesting because he used Arnold Schwarzenegger from his bodybuilder days posing for a shot as a reference, difference being the bent forward arm and the bent back to make the pectorals stand out more while Cap is drawn with a straight spine and arms with the same amount of pecks, looking like a roided out, beaten up barrel as a result.
Domino is a “positive probability vampire”. Her good fortune is at the direct expense of everyone and anyone around her. Also why her and dead pool can work well together, he cannot die.
It's also fascinating like she doesn't go to a casino walk up to a random machine and insta win, she would have to walk around she'll feel like a magnetic pull find the source and then she'd win. least in the comics
Fun fact. In the comics, Deadpool is in love with Death (as in The Grim Reaper, Lady Death, Mistress Death, etc) as is Thanos. Both, ironically, being (mostly?) unable to die. With the rights to the Lady Death character being up in the air at the time, it seems fitting that in this movie they killed off Vanessa and gave Deadpool a "Death" to crave. In the MCU, Thanos wanted to kill half the universe because of "resources". But comic Thanos would have done the same as a tribute to the woman he loves... And if you, like my cousin, thought, "Why kill half the universe? Why not just make more resources?" You can apply that love for Lady Death into your head canon, to make it make more sense.

One of the references you missed was when Deadpool was standing over the baby at the end. He's slapping his hands together saying "this is crazy, this is crazy". That's a reference to Clark Griswold in the first "Vacation" movie. The scene where Clark is going to go skinny dipping in the hotel pool with Cristy Brinkley's character. 😃
4:19 ironically enough, in the comics, Captain America is one of two people that actually LIKES Wade. Spiderman being the other, even though he does get on Peter's nerves alot. Everyone else in the marvel universe h@tes Deadpool 😂😂😂
Dang, Cable must have read "A Farewell to Arms" and took it way too literally! He practically disarmed the entire prison, and I don't mean their weapons.
The Xmen mansion is Hatley Castle on Vancouver island. There are tours of the interior in the summer. It’s a pretty cool experience to recognize the rooms, hallways and exteriors used in xmen and Deadpool.
It was so good to watch your reactions because I feel like I'm always telling people how incredible this movie is and no one has seen it or seems to appreciate it the way I do. All the jabs at themselves and the industry, racist cable, insane humor while still being dramatic at times. It was beautifully chaotic for sure.
That house scene at the start. Wade grabs set of knives... So relatable... We've all got one of those. It has like 10 knives for all different things but we only use one...
Unless it's in the full reaction I can think of two references I don't think you guys caught: 1) Wade's One-Eyed Willie remark is a reference to The Goonies where a very young Josh Brolin plays the big brother Brandon (Fun fact: His little brother is played by an even younger Sean Astin aka "Sam" from Lord Of The Rings) 2) Papa, Can You Hear Me? is a song from the musical Yentl made famous by Barbra Streisand, Josh Brolin's longtime stepmom. Just a bit of useless trivia... 😅
in the comics, Death is represented as a woman who Wade is in love with, but they can only get together When his injuries are severe enough to almost kill him before his self healing kicks in. Vanessa is taking Death's role in this movie. Also, Cable usually appears looking completely different each time he has a new story with Wade but only Wade notices, so that technically means Kiera could still be cast in a later movie and it would make no difference to the canon
That line where he says 'the industry discriminates against plus size heros' always made me roll my eyes so hard. When's the last time you see a plus sized anyone able to run a block without stopping?
When's the last time you saw a man made out of metal, or a teenage girl who could become a living bomb, or a cancerous tumor who fights crime? That's some real selective realism you've got there.
You cut out one of my favorite jokes. _"In every film, there comes a moment when the hero hits rock bottom. In _*_Cool Runnings,_*_ it was when John Candy's prized bobsled broke. In _*_Human Centipede,_*_ it was when those people...signed on to be in that movie."_

22:47 It's not so much that the cancer came back, as the cancer is always present, even when he has his powers. It's more that his healing abilities keeps the cancer in check. All the pockmarks, lesions and scar tissue covering Wade's skin is the result of the cancer constantly spreading throughout his body while healing over at the same time. One of the reasons Wade uses humor a lot, especially dark/gallows humor, is because he's actually in constant pain from the disease. It's become a coping mechanism.
"I'm not condoning murder!" you say while laughing gleefully. Implicitly, you did. We all did. The whole audience. Wade does what we secretly wish we could do. We just don't want to end up like him, so we don't do it. But we still think what he did was funny and cute, and that says something about people.
18:02 that familiar voice is Matt Damon's. and the other guy besides him is Alan Tudyk. Matt has heavy prosthetics on and also he is credited as Dickie Greenleaf in the end credits.(if you have seen Talented Mr. Riply you might get that reference)
Damn. Sly, Arnold, Dolph, even Gibson would be a shoe-in for villains in the X-men-Marvel universe, wtf are they waiting for? You remember Arnold as the Ice-man in those shitty batman movies? He's fkn perfect visually as a MCU character, perfectly mysterious, strange, larger then life.
When Wade says "Your so dark. Are you sure your not from the DC Universe." Is because Josh Brolin played Jona Hex, a DC property. He owned it by the way.
When they put out the first trailers for Deadpool 2 they were really playing up the X-Force team. There were brief shots of Shatterstar fighting and other things that led you to believe that X-force would play a major role in the movie. Then to see them die before they hit the ground was shocking and hilarious.
Did you know that Ryan Reynold got Celine Dion to sing the opening credits song simply just writing her a letter. From what I read Brad Pitt got paid to play his part with a coffee
-18:06 They sound familiar cause they are Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk. -36:27 One-Eyed Willy is a Goonies reference, Josh Brolins first movies as a kid.. -Juggernaut is Professor X's step-brother.

I've watched a few of your reactions and realised that I hadn't subscribed yet, so I've just bumped up your number of subscribers by one!
Thank you! That's a very important "one" to us. You guys' support means the world to us. Thank you for watching!
Unless it's in the full reaction I can think of two references I don't think you guys caught:
1) Wade's One-Eyed Willie remark is a reference to The Goonies where a very young Josh Brolin plays the big brother Brandon (Fun fact: His little brother is played by an even younger Sean Astin aka "Sam" from Lord Of The Rings)
2) Papa, Can You Hear Me? is a song from the musical Yentl made famous by Barbra Streisand, Josh Brolin's longtime stepmom.
That would be a great cameo in Deadpool 3...
That line where he says 'the industry discriminates against plus size heros' always made me roll my eyes so hard.
When's the last time you see a plus sized anyone able to run a block without stopping?
The Incredible Hulk....Thing...Galactus is pretty up there too 😂😂
When's the last time you saw a man made out of metal, or a teenage girl who could become a living bomb, or a cancerous tumor who fights crime? That's some real selective realism you've got there.
@@itzakpoelzig330 it's almost like people are trying to bring our realities into the fiction story. 🤪
Thanks for showing some scenes that are not in the original release (aka, on my DVD) 😊
Been subscribed since house of the dragon reactions. Ur channel deserves all the success. Many hours I’ve spent while working or at home chilling watching ur reactions 😊 xx
Oh wow! From the very beginning! It means the world to us to see how much these have kept you entertained. Thank you for all the love and support ❤️
@@OfficialMediaKnights yep. We seem to have the same taste in movies so it has been a joy lol! I know I’m so excited for season 2 of house of the dragon this summer and ur reactions to it!! X
Hey, they got the chef's kiss of announcers, The epic voice of *Jon Bailey.*
The best of the best 🤌
Epic Voice over !!!
5:26 oh it’s different. The one I watched he went “Scout Master Kevin?”
I thought I was gonna piss my pants, laughing during the demise of the X-force scene.
The Post Credit Scenes are basically the best moments!
That familiar voice from one of the guys talking in the back of the truck is Matt Damon.
And the other guy is Alan Tudyk.
The One-Eyed Willie reference was from "Goonies" and Josh Brolin was in that movie.
43:16 Favourite underrated part.
As a non expert I can say with no confidence that yall will get to the promised sub number!
We hopefully get the new Deadpool 3 trailer this Sunday and can all look forward to what we hope will be a tremendous movie coming in July.
She's got telekinesis.
"I'm not condoning murder!" you say while laughing gleefully. Implicitly, you did. We all did. The whole audience. Wade does what we secretly wish we could do. We just don't want to end up like him, so we don't do it. But we still think what he did was funny and cute, and that says something about people.
Ok, well played. The first 30 seconds got me. Subscribed!
Love the fact that you guys have a sense of humor! Thanks for the support man ❤️
18:02 that familiar voice is Matt Damon's. and the other guy besides him is Alan Tudyk. Matt has heavy prosthetics on and also he is credited as Dickie Greenleaf in the end credits.(if you have seen Talented Mr. Riply you might get that reference)
Dubstep never dies!
Never, ever!
It's a classic deadpool thing to break the 4th wall, just in case you guys weren't aware.
Love the Goonies reference with Brolin 36:26
the promos for this film were the best. they shot various scenes of X-Force fighting so when they died right away I was extremely confused
What a way to subvert expectations! That entire sequence was hilarious😂
When Wade says "Your so dark. Are you sure your not from the DC Universe." Is because Josh Brolin played Jona Hex, a DC property. He owned it by the way.
Love the Tucker and Dale tribute
The guys at the truck Cable zapped were Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk.
We need a Domino movie asap. She is awesome!
It says a lot about how much of a great sport Brad Pitt is as well. He was just happy to be in there for the bit!
Josh Brolin plays Cable, Cyclops’s son !!!! Master of Choice !!!
Half of the X-force (and those guys in the orphanage) died because Domino doesn't make luck out of thin air, she drains it out of anyone around her
It's crazy how many versions of this movie there are, some jokes in this version were new to me. Anyways, you guys are awesome
-18:06 They sound familiar cause they are Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk.
-36:27 One-Eyed Willy is a Goonies reference, Josh Brolins first movies as a kid..
-Juggernaut is Professor X's step-brother.
Love your content❤️long time follower.. always love your positive and yet full on views despite what u watch.. You guys Rock!!
The whole movie was about ensuring, he will be a good father.
54:40 he’s referencing Clark Griswald getting ready to skinny dip with Christy Brinkley in the first Vacation movie. 😂😂
