3:37 im pretty sure hre has the prelate buf for ranged units too what gives 15%-20% damage amd 1+ of both armor what makes them actually really good
hre needs an upgrade that allow garrisoned prelates to buff units like aachen jajajaja

Double producing crossbowmen with Mongols in feudal was pretty menacing with a couple spearmen to counter a french army in 1v1. I can’t tell if Mongols just suck tho

If Ottomans mehter attack speed bonus count as range unit bonus, why Hre prelate buff attack armor bonus doesn't count as range unit bonus too?
need one for new civs!
Mongols have Khan attack speed bonus, Yam speed bonus for kiting and Kurultai, i'd say that's quite useful! Definitely not F-tier imo

I disaggree with HRE being F, if you go Feudal with meinwerk they absolutely demolish english and they deal 15% extra damage from Prelate buffs in Castle.
Why would you even go Feudal with meinwerk? Lol that’s exactly why HRE is at F in this tier list
@@Bingusman cheaper and faster techs, in addition to the tempo in gathering. Sometimes all that matters is the critical mass that HRE can easily build up with Archers.
@@Bloodychaser you get way more value going fast castle as the HRE using Chapel in any scenario.
By the moment you have that "critical" mass or archers your opponent will probably be going up to castle or raiding your base everywhere because you went full on wood to make archers and a bunch or archery range.
And by the time you get to Castle all those archery ranges and archers will be completely useless because HRE doesn't have any type of tech or "plus" for any range unit other than the inspire.
So Why would you even go Archers on HRE when you have the best MAA in the game, or (since you like Meinwerk) a great cavalry?

in generall IMO !!! hand cann. and crosbows are not really using ,, except streltsy maybe ,, lookslike instead of making hand con. people are go for a knight🤔

French Crossbows are usefull because they have sick armor and they are hard to counter. The counters (Horseman (Longbows)) are weak against French Knights.
dont forget about Nob, horse archers of Rus or Camel archers of Abbasyd,, and HRE can do that in budget with MAA ,,, u dont really use crosbows in the game,, About that aoe 2 ranged units are less confusing 😅

Yup. HRE is so shut down atm since they are sooo brhind in buffs/new mechanics. They just completely lost their point.

Thia is literally the only tier list for a video game that was 💯 spot on that I have ever seen.
mangudai is bad in everything stupidly expensive, 0 damage against basic military units, easily encountered by anything, even unit design looks like nothing mongolian but some dude with arab or tibet hat. i would prefer aoe2 mangudai or genhis khan or mungke khan design from campaign
