Kevin thinking about the profit to be made.
Mark brings up the possibility of a slight markup within reason.
Johnny seems to agree that $6 - $7 would make sense, but he was taking only $4.50 to do right by the farmers.
I think Mark's suggestion and Johnny's honest and goodhearted response was exactly what JP needed to hear in order to meet Johnny's offer

I noticed that. He was humbled when JP did the offer and the story of his father.
And its a really BIG contrast, you got Mr.Wonderful who is thinking long term but it also thinking of himself, rightly so. Then you got JP that went in there wanting it BAD and seeing how good it was from the get-go. The deal, now that I think about it, in INCREDIBLY generous, 20%? And all he was asking for $150,000 which is much to Johnny but not much to them and JP saw it from the beginning.
Its a classic example of the rich and then the rich who are compassionate.

I had the pleasure to meet JP briefly since he was the keynote speaker at a martial arts convention I attended for work a good couple of years back in Las Vegas (odd I know but he owns a world-class martial arts team “Team Paul Mitchell”).
He told the story of living out of his car paycheck to paycheck as a door-to-door salesman before he started to make it. After shaking his hand and speaking to him for just a few minutes I can say with good confidence he never forgot about that time of his life and how good he has it now. John Paul Dejoria is hands down the most humble and down to earth billionaire on this planet right now; the genuine care he has for the CAUSE rather than the profit shows.
