I have a feeling the father was facing some kind of illness. All the best to him and his son.

I don' think he is ill, but he does look old and he definitely knows and feels if he doesn't have the same energy like he used to so he wants to make sure to do all important job while he can

Dad is loaded, but knows legacy is with his son, not his cash. His life’s work wasn’t to turn his son into a shark, but to provide the tools needed for his son to learn to swim.
I love how Cuban is always the first to speak for the group and give ideas. Offering to give himself 3% while everyone else gets more is so honest of him. He’s really my favorite shark.
He's the only billionaire on Shark Tank so it makes sense he'd be something akin to the "head shark"

According to Google the dad is worth 300M$ and yet he is so humble. Doesn’t brag much, didn’t reveal his profit from selling the company (sharks had to pull it out with questions), just kept it simple. Love this guy! Wish him the best health!

That speech that the Dad gave for why coming to shark tank, it really struck a nerve. It was never always about the money but rather to make sure your love one are cared for in the long run. I hope their business become huge and successful.

well he did sell it before it got huge, but he kept a royalty in place so good on him for that

I shed some tears from the dad's words. One of the best pitches I have seen in recent episodes.
These guys were well prepared. Really rare for people to show up this prepared
It also helps to have decent numbers and a good rationale for them
they valued the shark instead of only value their product

The best and utmost motivating episode in Shark Tank history.. I have recently lost my Dad and he was my powerhouse.. This guy is so lucky to have his Dad around !!
This pitch really hits me right here. My mom has Stage-4 Breast Cancer, and I felt that my world came down since I knew it prior to the diagnosis. I feel that this father gave me a new meaning to me than ever; I want to reiterate, “You can’t make more time, and time gone by is gone forever.” That made me find the importance of time to loved ones, even in friendships.

I hope this invention blows up huge. I loved the pitch, loved the heartfelt truth from the dad, and loved the reaction from the sharks. Downright human, respectful negotiation. One of my fave shark tank moments thus far.
I love how we can see that each of the sharks has a heart. This father and son duo had a brilliant pitch and presentation, but the dad talking about how he wants to leave his son in good hands really touched the hearts of viewers and the sharks. What a great dad!

This is certainly for a particular consumer. Many older people are on a fixed budget so just buying a necklace attachment or similar would make more sense at this price
With all 5 sharks I am sure they are going to be able to get the landed manufacturing costs lower and will be able to take the product to market at a lower price point. We will see!

Someone in the comments mentioned the dad must be facing some sort of illness, but it’s just his own mortality. I have seen the foldable ones, but never one that wraps around wrist.
Very handle for those of us who are constantly leaving glass at home or in the car, but never have it with us when we are not need it.

I’ve been binge watching and some of the older episodes of the male sharks being cold and boot showing empathy are cringe worthy but the newer episodes that show the sharks exhibiting compassion like this one are amazing… I wonder if they feel like the son would be an asset to design for other business ventures! This was beautiful 🥰
