I really enjoy your presentations. I prefer your thermal scope. I use Pulsar Trail 2. PIP is useful. 2023 tally 224 foxes and 80 feral cats. I got 29 foxes at a feedlot last week.
I really liked the footage you took riding on the quad around the area. The different views from the front to the rear, through the grass and of yourself steering looked very professional and well framed. I hope to see more in future videos to get an appeciation of the environment you're travelling in. Thank you.
Love your work as always, for me I like the Thermion with the reticle display as it gives me that visceral feel of being there in person which just adds another layer of pleasure to the experience.
Nice spray on that second fox… I have a 6mm dasher in a comp gun but it would be the perfect fox/cat gun in a chassis set-up, with the low recoil using 70 / 80 gr bullets. My vote is the 6mm BR it’s just the cost off brass now😩
What a beautiful country; we're planning a trip there next year. *Good onya* for doing the right thing to preserve native species and livestock, brother.
Smurf seems to gobble up the long range shots but the Thermion feels like old faithful and the vids are clearer. From a visual the Thermion is a preference but not sure if it was just the long shots on Smurf that impact the visual recordings.
Quite surprised how green the paddocks are where you are shooting, here in NZ things are brown and dry for the first time in years. Not usual for us to be dryer than you guys.
Another great video Nathan, the subtle Olight torch work made me laugh, “ now where’s that fox, oh there it is” luckily you found it with a strategically placed Olight torch 😂
Algorithmic engagement comment. Well done once again. I'm partial to the close-up view. I guess I'm kinda sick because I like the effects of the shots. Splatter and all.
Hi, nice shooting and I think the 6.5 prc rifle really rocks. I hope to see more of your videos for this rifle. And man how I would love to own one of this beauty. 👍
I have a couple of Pulsar Talion XQ38 2.5-10 thermal scopes with QD mounts, but I don't like swapping scopes back and forth, so I've been considering a thermal clip on to swap between a number of different rifles, that way I won't have any zeroing issues and I keep glass for daytime hunting.
Wouldn't know it was summer with all that green grass around.Great work on the foxes.Always satisfying when you hear the"thwop" of the impact. Thanks for sharing the video.
Great video. When it comes to clip on vs scope there is no doubt in my mind.....the scope provides a better image, especially when boosting the magnification. Then you need to sort out the function of your 6BR rifle. Looks like it dosen't feed the carteridge properly when listening to it. Anyways thumbs up and greetings from Norway 🇧🇻😃
The thermion clips are better to watch but it sounds like the krypton is the go for longer range stuff. I really need to try out a clip-on myself one day 👍
"Smurf gun". Larf! Very apt. The 6.5 has been a favorite round for years and so pleased to see it still doing the business, it's a very honest and well balanced pill. Love your work and thanks for the tip for your sponsor; order already on the way. Cheers!
Really enjoy these vids as a nature lover and also coming from a shepherd background can fully understand the need to cull these animals, one thing that might add to your vids is a total of animals killed and what they were. As for the weapons dont care they are all equally exciting to watch, big change of walking around the fields during lambing season with dad he always had a 12bore close by.
Also heard the same of coyotes. I believe Steven Rinella, author and tv hunting star has cooked and eaten coyote. My tastes are pretty much limited to cottontails and upland birds. I have considered cooking crow but the opportunity just hasn’t presented itself so far.
Nathan, if you ever choose to add music to your videos, I suggest Moonlight Sonata. Also let’s hope that the vermin never develop electronic counter measures to overcome your high tech equipment. As far as mashing the like button, I do that as soon as I start the video because your presentations are always top notch! Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. 👍🏼
I’ve never used a clip on but they definitely would be handy to save taking the glass scope off and on and having to re zero all the time. But I much prefer to see the footage from the Thermion with the reticle so you can see where you were aiming. Looks like a fun weekend. Good job mate.
I use a Infiray CH 50 V2 clip on with Rusan hardware from HTN great outfit and it gives me heaps of versitility with the use of my firearm day or night, especially like it because I can use the same rifle for stalking deer without having to change the scope out
Always A top job mate, Love this content. That second fox just got smashed! Great work on those pigs And that Cat was a Bonus! as well mate 👍 Like the 6BR 👍
Howdy from Sacramento! Nice setup. I like a view of the crosshairs and always appreciate a notation of the range of the target. Great shooting as always. Cheers!
You are a crack shot - no doubt about that Any chance of doing a Vlog on sighting in your Thermals ? Something I not happy with - just never can get that fine tuned finish 😞
The more rifle scope /thermal combinations you show, the more it enriches the viewing experience. That being said the 6.5PRC kills with real authority at distance
Would you consider doing an episode of all the fox calls you use? both electronic and mouth calls you use? Keep up the good work, really enjoying your vids.
I don't care what gun you use. I like it all, but getting to look through the scope is nice at times too. Keep it coming!
Choice of weapon is entirely up to you, you are the expert.
I’m just happy you keep getting both foxes & cats - keep em coming.
Thanks mate
I really enjoy your presentations. I prefer your thermal scope. I use Pulsar Trail 2. PIP is useful. 2023 tally 224 foxes and 80 feral cats. I got 29 foxes at a feedlot last week.
Kitty vids are my favourite
Meee-ooowwch! 🤣💥
WOW! That is some gear you have there....love watching. thanks. Old lady in England.
Thanks for watching!
*EDGE of the OUTBACK* Bravo well done, thank-you for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
Glad you enjoyed it
The cat was the cherry mate, great vid Nath, shoot whatever gun you feel like mate, we all still gunna watch, cheers Yogi ✌️🤙
I know Yogi, cheers mate 👌
Definitely the 6mm BR with thermion...
agreed. very interesting to see the reticle when he applies hold over/under or lead on a running animal.
I also love that it sounds suppressed with sub sonics. You don't hear the crack of the super sonic round travelling. Also a big fan of the 308!
I really liked the footage you took riding on the quad around the area. The different views from the front to the rear, through the grass and of yourself steering looked very professional and well framed. I hope to see more in future videos to get an appeciation of the environment you're travelling in. Thank you.
Cheers mate 👌
great video, nice shots enjoyed watching !(and a 10+ for the cat)
Thank you very much!
Can’t believe how talented you are at hitting hog at dead run at over 100m. Phenomenal shooting! You’re definitely dialed in mate!
I get a little practice 😉
Great video mate 👍
Thanks 👍
Hi, thanks for posting and please keep up the good work. I also enjoyed catching a snippet of the Australian Countryside.
Cool, thanks
Thanks for the great photography. I have fond memories of the New England area! It's very beautiful around there!
It really is!
Love your work as always, for me I like the Thermion with the reticle display as it gives me that visceral feel of being there in person which just adds another layer of pleasure to the experience.
Fair enough!
Nice spray on that second fox…

Just bought 200 lapua cases $500. Not cheap. Cheers

Yeah it's a cartridge that's certainly gained in popularity and traction in the last few years.
What a beautiful country; we're planning a trip there next year. *Good onya* for doing the right thing to preserve native species and livestock, brother.
Great job and fun Nathan. All your arsenal is tops.
Muzzle report from the 6br sounds awesome Nath 👌
Doesn't matter what you use, the outcome is still the same! Pests being dispatched 👌🏽 keep up the great work 👍🏼
Thanks!
We have had a very wet season. We're normally brown by now, too
You're not from Taranaki then, I'm still topping paddocks.
Since I got an IR scope i've run out of rabbits, not sure i like them now 😂
Another great video Nathan, the subtle Olight torch work made me laugh, “ now where’s that fox, oh there it is” luckily you found it with a strategically placed Olight torch 😂
Exactly 😉
Love the videos!! Thank you from Tennessee, USA
Glad you like them!
Nice work Nathan
Both rifles and scopes were great and I enjoyed watching them.
Mate awesome as always. Love the fox fire works!!👍👊
Thank you! Cheers!
100% the 6BR. Love that machine. Excellent video yet again 👍🏼
Thanks 👍
Great video mate another cracking watch. Love the Smurf gun but Thermion is always a classic view 👊👊 hope your well mate
You too mate 🍻
Hunt the Night kicks ass.
Love yr work guys.
Cheers
Algorithmic engagement comment.
Well done once again. I'm partial to the close-up view. I guess I'm kinda sick because I like the effects of the shots. Splatter and all.
Not on ya own bro cheers Yogi ✌️🤙
Fair enough!
Great video fella, love your work as always 🍻
Thanks 👍
Lovin the smurf gun with clip on !
It's a wicked bit of kit indeed.
You’re doing the lords work mate!
Thank you for helping to keep the balance! ❤️
No problem 👍
Hi, nice shooting and I think the 6.5 prc rifle really rocks. I hope to see more of your videos for this rifle. And man how I would love to own one of this beauty. 👍
She's a really nice bit of kit for sure.

Yo Nathan, the pulsar mergers fit in the extra large Kuiu bino case just like you said. Well done. Thanks for that.
Wouldn't know it was summer with all that green grass around.Great work on the foxes.Always satisfying when you hear the"thwop" of the impact. Thanks for sharing the video.
Thanks 👍
I don't think it matters what rifle you use Nathan, your deadly on any feral cobber. Thank you cobber for what you are doing.🤠
Appreciate it mate 👌
Great job as always Nathan 👍👍👍
Thanks again!
I'd not pay too much attention to audio for feeding. That little rig has never miss fed a round and I treat it pretty poorly.
The thermion clips are better to watch but it sounds like the krypton is the go for longer range stuff. I really need to try out a clip-on myself one day 👍
Yeah it was nice to run in this instance for sure.
The view from the Thermion is great. That daytime footage in the New England reminds me of parts of SE NSW and the Monaro. Lovely country. Nice work!
Cheers mate
What’s not to like. Your shit is great. Following the enviously you.😊😊
"Smurf gun". Larf! Very apt. The 6.5 has been a favorite round for years and so pleased to see it still doing the business, it's a very honest and well balanced pill. Love your work and thanks for the tip for your sponsor; order already on the way. Cheers!

Great work as usual Nathan.
Glad you enjoyed it
Cool ep and lovely shooting
That 3rd fox was so excited that he lost his mind, great shooting mate, as always, its a pleasure watching your videos. cheers.
Cheers !!!
You have the best job in this world.
Nathan please give the pros vs cons on the clip on after a couple of trips, cheers.
I like that Pulsar Thermion, would like one myself. Both rifles have the legs for the longer shots.
That's true, but the PRC is certainly the long range king IMO in my setup.
Both a fantastic options! Hard to pick one over the other. The 6BR is devastating though!
Excellent Outcome
Some nice shots there. I was curious so I did some googling - apparently you can eat a fox. Maybe time for a catch and cook..? 🦊 🍖 🤔
Never heard this happening in Aus….interested to hear more
Also heard the same of coyotes. I believe Steven Rinella, author and tv hunting star has cooked and eaten coyote.
My tastes are pretty much limited to cottontails and upland birds. I have considered cooking crow but the opportunity just hasn’t presented itself so far.
you can eat shit too...but I wouldn't recommend it!!
Best comment I've heard in a while...pissed myself
Hahahha

Thanks for the tip!
It's all good mate, but the Thermion head shots are epic! ;)
They are!
Excellent as always!
Thank you! Cheers!
Well done mate! Good return for two long evenings. Bonus that you bagged a big feral moggie 👍
Thanks 👍
I’ve never used a clip on but they definitely would be handy to save taking the glass scope off and on and having to re zero all the time. But I much prefer to see the footage from the Thermion with the reticle so you can see where you were aiming.

Cheers mate, definitely pros and cons
Thank Nathan, splendid work..
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome once again mate awesome

Glad you liked it!
Always A top job mate, Love this content. That second fox just got smashed! Great work on those pigs And that Cat was a Bonus! as well mate 👍 Like the 6BR 👍

Loving the clip-on content!
Not fussed both good nicely narrated and filmed cheers Neil
Appreciate it Neil
Howdy from Sacramento! Nice setup. I like a view of the crosshairs and always appreciate a notation of the range of the target. Great shooting as always. Cheers!
Cheers 🍻
You are a crack shot - no doubt about that
Any chance of doing a Vlog on sighting in your Thermals ?
Something I not happy with - just never can get that fine tuned finish 😞
I'll have to see if I get the time mate. But I just use foil dots on core flute sheeting. The trick is to angle it back at about 20 degrees.
Another great video. Very happy farmer. Clipon isn't too bad buth the thermion shows how good a shooter u really r.
Great shooting and a beautiful property.
Thanks for sharing.
Love your work fella
Glad you enjoy it!
Snicko reakons you clipped that gate 😊
Great work Nathan thanks for sharing 🦘
No problem 👍
Entering af as always..
Great work
The more rifle scope /thermal combinations you show, the more it enriches the viewing experience. That being said the 6.5PRC kills with real authority at distance
It's definitely a hammer.
EOTO. Good video. Great distance shooting. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Cheers
Awesome work. Both tools seem to work spot on.
Yes they do
Smurf gun is the best by far, great video 👍
Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Would you consider doing an episode of all the fox calls you use? both electronic and mouth calls you use?
Keep up the good work, really enjoying your vids.
Maybe mate, time is the issue unfortunately.
Awesome stuff Nathan fair few ferals down & out
Great work young fella.
Love the blue chassis - greetings from South Africa
Cheers and hello
Great video mate, was just wondering if you whistle them in if so which type and brand
I have seen you use a thermal binocular ones it helps to find game at night after the shot l also find it extremely difficult with a torch at night
I like the 6.5 PRC. I spoke with my gunsmith recently and discussed either the 6.5, or the 22 Creed. He suggested the 6.5.
Maybe the gate shooting was Rodney's bad luck rather than yours? Great video! 😂
I believe the last gate I shot was with my son on the quad 😂
I reckon the 2 good things that come from tha shot was 1. You didn't hit the gate and 2. Old redcoats brains. Nice work mate.👍
Cheers
Thermion is nice to see the reticle and clarity.
Love your rifle work, Nathan. Jack Out The Back could use your help with the camels on Prenti Station if you're up for a trip to WA?
Nice long shots. Not fussed what rifle you use👍
I don't care about which rife but i do like being able to see the crosshair in the clips.
Much better watching the second half.
Both of them they both got guns and Thermal imaging😊😊😊
True dat
6BR Therm for me Nath. Nice work.
Love the video. Keep up the good work!!
Nice upload and shooting
Cheers
Jim
Love the 6.5PRC, it seems to do a lot of damage! Lol!
It does!
Pretty good looking country, good for stock, but also good hunting for ferals. No doubt you will be back there at some time.
