  • First, I want to say thank you to everyone for the love I got on my crochet ruffle hat tutorial! Everyone asked for a tutorial on the Chucky bucket hat a while ago, so here's a quick and easy tutorial on how to crochet it! This pattern can be adjusted to be any length and be easily customized. This is a perfect beginner's first project because it utilizes the most basic stitches and concepts as well.
    This hat usually only takes me 45 minutes to complete from beginning to end so it is a super quick and easy crochet project to do!
    I used two skeins of size 4 (medium) "I Love This Yarn!" acrylic yarn from Hobby Lobby, but many different yarn types are suitable for this pattern!
    I also used a 10 mm hook, yarn needle, and scissors.
    Please like, share, and subscribe! Be sure to tag me in y'all's recreations! I would love to see them! If you have ANY comments at all please do not be afraid to ask! Thank you for watching. 🖤

    If I did a magic circle in the beginning instead. Would I still need to chain 4 or would I just start the 11 DC?

      I’m not good at magic circles but I believe you’d just do the 11 DC!

    Hello beautiful I made you hat and it can out a lil big, but I like it. I taught myself how to crochet in a month which may make two months. I would like to know can I go down to a nine hook or eight hook to make my stitches a little tighter? Love watching your videos they are helpful for me and they help me out being a beginner crochet so please continue bringing us these videos and I will be looking for you soon. Have a good night.💞💞💞

      Thank you! & yes you can go down a hook size! My biggest recommendation is to try the hat on as you’re making it that way you know you’re making it to your size! Hope that helps! 🥰

    Hi, may I ask you if the first row is 11 stitches, with the first chain 2 and do 10 double crochets the second row is 22 stiches? cause I don't get if I have to count the chain 3 or not. Thanks

    • @AntisocialClub1
      @AntisocialClub1  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! Yes! 11 total including the chain! & yes, 22 for the second row! I count the chain in this pattern.

    Hi! I have a question.. I followed the pattern exactly as instructed but the base of my hat seems to be wider than yours unless the camera makes it look smaller.. I guess what Im asking is, is it possible for mine to be different after following exact instructions.

    • @AntisocialClub1
      @AntisocialClub1  10 месяцев назад +1

      If it’s followed exact then it would look the same. If it looks big maybe go back and make sure you didn’t accidentally add an extra stitch somewhere. If not then it just might look smaller on camera. Hope that helps!

      @@hooqdonqi I’ll do one eventually but a little tip. If you watch my balaclava video it’s made same exact way. Only thing you’d do different is you’d add a mouth hole to it & divide the eye hole in two with two DCs in the middle 🥰
