If I find a tape recorder.. I am listening to it no matter what.. how is that even--
The detectives on this case were a disgrace. They found a tape recorder with cassette inside next to the money with exploded red dye on it. And not a single person bothered listening to the cassette which was dumped in the evidence storage room where it sat for 30 years?
I agree. Police work 101.
Let’s forget the tape for a second, there was a screwdriver there, which they knew had been used to gain entry into their apartments. That alone should’ve gotten their attention. 🤦🏻♀️

But HOW did they not listen to the robbery tape?.
Not even to solve the murders cause they dont know they are connected but still YOU LISTEN TO THE TAPE

Rest in Peace all the victims. Sometimes watching a murder victim's video clip can genuinely be disturbing. Like hearing her speak at 3:50, and to realize that this person is now dead, and suffered a terrible fate later on in life, God.

I feel like if manny was awake and he saw the guy trying to pry open the door manny would have been probably still alive if he saw him I would think manny would grab a weapon and the girl who was with manny

You don’t alway get what you want but God will always give you what you need.
He didn’t save the girls from being tortured & murdered! & “God” is the only one that could! So who needed these deaths? Don’t continue to traumatize these families with “God works in mysterious ways” BS!

@@Davtonjes the mysterious ways are the killers, not the Lord’s. The killer made a terrible decision, and acted on it. The mystery is why someone would do something so horrific, not why someone or something didn’t stop it from happening. Freewill is something that you will need to get a grasp of in order to make any sense of madness like this. We were not created to be robots. There is no virtue without choice.
Ultimately, it made no difference that they didn’t listen to the tape immediately. The campsite and all the evidence was found the day after the last murders occurred. Rolling was captured and sentenced to life in prison for the Winn Dixie robbery he committed a week later (he wasn’t going anywhere). So how about laying off the police who had their hands full scouring the streets to prevent any other lives being lost and picking apart what little crime scene evidence they had to catch the bastard?
