- Scott Henratty, a friend of victims Sonja Larson & Christina Powell, takes the stand, followed by Gainesville police Officer Ray Barber, who responded to the scene.
FL v. ROLLING (1994) - A jury decides Danny Rolling's fate after he pled guilty to the horrid murders of four women and one man near the University of Florida campus in August 1990. Rolling, a drifter from Louisiana, is facing life in prison or the death penalty. His defense team argues Rolling was mentally ill when he committed the gruesome killings.

I loved this judge .. he over ruled every single objection by the defense!
It must been hard for the jury to look the crime scenes photos especially the victims.
Where is the full video of this
No words can describe if your friend gets murdered😔😢😭😭😭
What on Earth was the purpose of this witness??? How was anything he said in any way relevant to the case?
His purpose seems to be to get the Jury a nice nap.
I'm so lost... I've pieces together that there is a "Gainesville Ripper" and this witness was friends with the victims. Description looks like this is 1994, so why is it showing now? Is this Ripper on a new trial or something?
@Alice Ayres these old ones are from on demand, has long since been over with.
I for one like to watch some of the old trials.
@@josephinepeery6938 Me too, I've seen a bunch of them. I didn't know Court TV aired the old ones so I thought there may be action on the case. Thanks, this is something I'll watch in my down time
@Alice Ayres Danny rolling is actually dead now.
@@kotilynn8047 He was executed in October of 2006. Such an interesting and frightening case. Total nightmare. I would like to see more of the trial footage so I'll have to check out Court TV.
@@zezelline11 I lived in a town about 30 minutes from Gainesville. Go there all the time. I think about this every time I drive thur where they have the victims names painted on the side of the road.
Grisly Florida serial murder of two college girls and the prosecutor makes it boring as being on hold with the DMV.
Leading the witness
He didnt deserve the death penalty its wrong in soo many ways also he should RIP danny rest in peace sweet prince .
Obviously it wasn’t your mom‘s severed-head your sweet prince Danny displayed on a bookshelf...

You’re sick person. You need to get locked up. I swear.
@@samboriboun2213 I believe he got what he deserved. I live 30 minutes from there. I came from a household with a abusive father he didn’t treat me with any respect either. But I learned from it, and chose not to be like them.
