video ideas: 1. History of the Bakerloo line (could potentially talk about extending it to Watford) 2. Euston to Canary Wharf tube line 3. Creating potential interchanges between tube lines 4. historic tube stock ranked 5. ranking tube lines 6. the future of the London Underground 7. the future of railways in London 8. perfecting the London Underground 9. should we extend the central line to Uxbridge? 10. where should we install platform screen doors on the underground? 11. videos about each tube rolling stock eg. history of the 1906 stock or the standard stock or the 1992 stock. You could include technical specifications and interesting facts as well.
Why have I heard recently from multiple people that Victoria line has lost ATO after the 2009 stock? Some large media must have spread the wrong information. Victoria line currently runs on a modern CBTC system and since it has the newest stock (excl. the S stock), it achieves the speed and accuracy and frequency which is not possible with human drivers. Not to mention currently having the highest frequency of any tube line in London.
Hey man I'm lucky enough to have had this on my recommended and I honestly was quite surprised to see the lack of views/popularity. Keep it up and you'll get there one day!
Do a video on all the stations with Harrow in the name. Jago did one about Acton and others have too but Harrow has 6-ish at present and there may be more historic ones too. Also do a quiz maybe where some jenios can show off how clever he is.
Isn't it time the Victoria Line was extended on to Peckham? ....or perhaps the Bakerloo Line will be instead - beyond E & C. Either way, Peckham needs a Tube station. Good video and very detailed too.
That's because it is automatic. It initially ran using the old 1960s ATO system, when all the 67 stock trains went it moved over to a vastly upgraded DTG-R system.
They are overrun tunnels with IIRC enough length to store a full train ready for the start of the next day's service. The depot is at the north end of the line... Northumberland Park depot which is accessed from tracks diverging from the running tunnels just east of Seven Sisters.
@@marcelwiszowaty1751 Ah okay. It'll be cool if there was a video showing this. I remember there was an upgrade to the Victoria line 10 years ago but those trains have been replaced with older models

good ideas
You gotta make these yourself man!! They’re great ideas - you’d definitely get views
@@ItsMeBenson I could but I don't live in London, I'd probably do my own city.

Really interesting story Hugh, thanks for taking the time to educate us on the Victoria line, London underground history at its best
3:47 The Victoria Line is still ATO but they likely did some upgrade works to the system.
12: Why does the Metropolitan line terminate at Aldgate? And why doesn't it connect with the District line?
Lord knows but aldgate and aldgate east are close together so they should merge together
You can always tell the Victoria line trains by their super distinctive accelerating and breaking sounds 😂
Good video, chap. Keep up the work.

Pls do a video about the Croydon tramlink

0:11 looks like one of the passengers has broken into the cab there.. I think she must have been in a hurry to get to Green Park to get home
I didn't know that the 2009 stock wasn't automatic.

What is past the tunnels after Brixton? It always occurs as a mystery to me. Perhaps it leads to a train depot?

I love it!
Thanks I am currently making a new series of videos about my favourite stations pleas stay tuned for those.
@@HillierHugh Extend Victoria line North and South
What about the London Overground?
He did a video on the North London Line so he might do the other Overground lines one day
