That was actually a really good interview video, Pea, but I'd like to add a few thoughts of my own about Filipinas that perhaps were not covered. Although pretty much all of the Filipinas I have dated over the past 30 years have been really good people I thought I should explain why this alone is not enough for the huge majority of Western men. 95% of western men would just much prefer to date a woman from their own country as this gives them a much better chance of finding someone who they have a real connection with - someone who really gets them and who they are compatible with on every level. Think about it this way: if a Western man were truly compatible with the women of Southeast Asia in general then he would be compatible with the men from these places as well. In other words, he would have local male friends there that he enjoys talking to and hanging out with just as much as his good male friends back home. And yet this is not the case at all. In fact, if you talk to expats in places like Thailand and the Philippines you will find that they virtually never have any local male friends there at all aside from the occasional token native male friend. They pretty much only hang out with other western men because these are the only men they can relate to and can make a real connection with and have the kind of interesting conversations with that they crave. Anyway, this clearly demonstrates how with the women they are simply choosing to overlook this basic lack of mental and emotional compatibility in order to obtain female companionship and sex from a young attractive woman - and someone who will put up with them without making much of a fuss and who will not have any kind of life of her own separate from him. And there is nothing wrong with this of course if that’s what you are into - that is as long as you don’t pretend that there is something inherently wrong with Western women that drove you to find a partner in Asia.
Anyway, for the above-mentioned reasons all the Filipinas that I have had long term relationships with have been raised mostly here in the USA. I just find myself to be much more compatible with Asian American women (or American women of any race) than with women raised in Southeast Asia. And if you want to understand why this is just look at dating site profiles from the Philippines. When they bother to write anything at all about themselves at all it will always be the exact same thing. Basically, they will say they are simple, kind, honest, loyal and caring, etc. and they will write the same about the type of man they want (BORING). This tells me that basically any guy with a pulse who is not a total jerk will do. Why would I want to date a girl who’s only criteria for a partner is that he not be an a-hole? That’s kind of like being an actor and finding out that you only got the part because you fit into the suit and not because of your unique talents. American women on the other hand usually don’t bother putting in stuff like “kind” or “honest” because these things are a given and should go without saying. After all nobody wants to date an a-hole. And let's face it, if the guy is a bad and dishonest guy he is not going to tell you this anyway, so what's the point of writing it in the first place? Anyway, the American men and women write things about themselves that will hopefully attract someone they are uniquely suited to and not just some random good person. There are literally millions of nice, sweet girls out there that I would not feel at all compatible with. So, it takes a lot more than simply being nice and sweet. But the average Filipina just wants a good provider who is not a complete jerk. Basically, they just want someone to fill that tux at the marriage ceremony and someone to give them kids. Of course, it is not always like this with the more affluent and educated girls, but those girls are not going to want anything to do with the typical types of Westerners who go to the Philippines to find a girlfriend or wife. By the way as I was living in Thailand for the past several years my most recent girlfriend is naturally Thai and the reason we hit it off from the first date is because we constantly make each other laugh and that is very important to me. She is also educated, speaks English without a discernable accent, and has a vibrant personality and tons of energy to keep up with me. That being said however, Thai women in general are just as emotionally immature as Filipinas and as such romantic relationships with them can be just as volatile or even more so.
The talking. The talking drives me crazy. That and the wedding planner. My fiancée told me the wedding planner told her “Don’t start with me I’ll deal with you later” because she’s literally asked for 30 quotes. I just told her the planner deserves a good tip and I’m glad it’s her that’s putting up with my fiancée and not me.

That is when i found out i was the only true Christian in our family. I told my lawyer we will not lie or do anything dirty or underhanded because i naively believed she was a christian woman 🙄🙄after 20 years of marriage i realized i never really knew her. Her and her lawyer lied throughout tbe whole divorce (her lawyer is known by many lawyers and judges as being the biggest liar in our county.) out of everything i lost due to the lies, i guess what hurt the most was any and all respect for my ex. was lost. It also makes me wonder what else she lied to me about during our marriage and i was amazed how easily the lies flowed out of her.
She did finally get caught in a web of her lies by several people in the church, who i had shown the demands of her and her lawyers and the many false accusations against me. unfortunately for her, no one trusts or believes her anymore and she has lost many good friends due to her lies.

My favorite trait about Filipinas are they are so genuine. Of course if you come across one that isn't, run.

I have been married to my Filipina wife for 32 years and together for 33 years. I cannot see my life without her as she is the backbone of the family. Takes on a lot and always puts us (family) before everything. Even when I am battling PTSD she is there to support me and offer help. My wife is an amazing woman and a great mother. I have been truly blessed to have her.

My Dad was a medic in WW2. The day after D-Day, they sent in the medics. He saw a guy get his head blown off by a cannon shell. Later he saw a little girl run across a street in front of a tank (which only had a slot to look out of) and get run over by it. He saw a lot more he didn't talk about.
He had quit drinking before the war. He came out of it an alcoholic.
PTSD can be about things one feels forced to do. But at least as often, it is about what one sees, hears, experiences.

In my experience it is the people with PTSD that are warped. Warped by guilt. Not by seeing horrendous things. The exception are those who have been raped, especially as a child.

I pointed out that people can go through enough hell without killing anyone and have PTSD, using my father's experience as an example.
A lot of people have been through a different kind of emotional hell with a spouse or partner with mental issues (bipolar, narcissist...) and have PTSD with all the clinical symptoms and have to deal with that.
I am simply explaining why I strongly disagree with your assumption that MOST people with PTSD got it by killing someone.

Yes I can confirm, Filipinas love caring for some one. My wife insists on helping me put my shoes on and setting my clothes so I look my best. Always concerned for my health. Genuine caring as she already has plenty of money so does not need to pretend. Married 12 years and all is good.

Touched me as I thought of all the things my Filipina does and says as it's just in their nature when they care about someone as it truly does make you feel Loved and cared for, which makes you want to try harder to show how much you care. A Smile is Infectious isn't that great 😊

She helps you put your shoes on??? Really? Are you a child? Sorry but that is just strange. I've been happily married to a Filipina for 15 years and I would not feel comfortable with her doing that unless I had some physical disability that prevented me from doing so.
Best things about my girl? She's 30 but looks like she's 18, weighs 80 lbs, pretty and inexperienced and shy. Sweet and happy and agreeable and humble and not materialistic. She is an absolute JOY to be with. She makes me want to give her the world. I have nothing to complain about. I like the clinginess.
If you're girlfriend is still inexperienced then you're doing something wrong buddy. lol
Summing up their comments: I can get younger and prettier girls here, and there are more obedient and cheaper. And I will fool myself thinking it's because they really think my 60 year old belly is sexy, but I'll get VERY upset in the comments of this channel when I find out that in exchange they expect me to financially support their whole families. Because as a Western conservative nut I just like ONE side of the "traditional family". The one where women PRETEND to obey me because they can't have financial independence, and I work and feel like the "bred-winner" and they stay at home doing chorus and cheating me with the neighbors (because I'm ugly and old) but I don't like the part of this thing of "traditional family" where I have to pay for everything because my wife can't study or work to be financially independent and earn as much or more as I do. That part I don't like.
Filipinas are traditional and often take care of the family, spouse, children, and home. They handle cooking, cleaning, and other chores without question. They generally do not question or challenge a man's masculinity or traditional roles. They prioritize the family first and tend to be frugal in household spending. It's often difficult to get a Filipina to spend money on herself; instead, she will prioritize spending on her family's needs. The downside to some Filipinas is that they always have a cell phone connected to their hip, even when they are out with friends or family. You might see four Filipinas at a dinner table, each engrossed in her cell phone, with not a word spoken between them.(they could be total strangers!)

The cell phone thing is 100% a thing in Sweden as well, with both young and not so young women. I didn't see it as much in the US, but I was only there for vacation, so I wouldn't really know.

It sounds to me like you might be looking for a Stepford wife but since those do not really exist you want to find the next best thing in the Philippines. As for the cell phone thing all I can say is you must have been living under a rock for the past two decades because people here in the USA have their heads buried in their phones just as much as people in the Philippines do (and I assume you are from here because you referred to it as a cell phone and not a mobile phone). Anyway, perhaps you are just associating with much younger women over there than you would over here and that is why you are suddenly noticing it more - the younger the person the more they use their phones. Start dating some American girls in their teens and early 20's and you will see the same cell phone behavior. And by the way, the reason a Filipina is not likely to spend money on herself is because they are all brainwashed from birth into thinking that they are horribly selfish people if they put their own wants and needs even slightly above those of the family. Consequently, they all had to long ago give up on any hopes and dreams they may have had for themselves and all that is left is to marry someone and pop out some kids of their own. Using guilt to control people (and calling it a cultural thing) is a major league soul crusher and it often keeps people from really ever achieving much in life.

I must openly testify that having a Filapina Trim my Nails, Put on My Socks and Shoes, Comb My Hair, Serve me Fresh Coffee, Preparing Nutritious Meals Everyday is Something I had to get adjusted to!!! Her Conservative Heart was impressive! Her Proper Use of English just left me in awe, She Speaks English far better than American Women! Very Peaceful Communication and Amazing WISDOM about Life Matters. I am GRATEFUL for Her LOVING HEART!

Great things come in small packages. Therefore, Filipinas are great things! My Filipina takes great care of me and I in turn take care of her. Best decision I made is to marry a Filipina. I did date a Singaporean for a bit, but she was starting to get high maintenance. Long story. I thank God for the Filipina I married. But always get the women direct from the source (Philippines), I have seen that once they stray off the farm, they sometimes fall into the Western trap. And that includes second generation too. Keep rockin Pea!

I am from Canada I was married to a Filipina for 25 years we were together for 27 she has now passed on late last year. And you were right about everything about the jealousy part but there's one thing she was different she was very independent and I wound up doing everything in the house LOL it was a pleasure taking care of her all those years.

We traveled and we enjoyed each other. I am hoping to do this again one day before I get too old...lol I am an exception to the rule I am in very good condition for my age! Lucky me my health allows me to follow 30 year olds lol

My western eyes & ears are not used to the mindset of Filipina women . I guess I wouldn't believe the possibility of a very attentive, generous and modest partner ?
I also think it might be very endearing to have a beautiful clingy g/f, and jealousy is just part of the territory, thats not a problem for me. The constant phone use is though.

I saw a singing contest where one of the judges referred to the Filipina group competing as “pocket rockets”. It made me laugh so hard then and still does. That beautiful and sweet Filipina, who many times, is also quite tiny (not a bad thing) compared to westerners, can turn into a fireball of jealousy at any moment. Really, the Filipina should be one of the seven wonders of the world…there is so much love and beauty in such a small package and a bit of crazy 🤪 to go along with it.

I love these straight from the horse's mouth interviews. It really shows the truth about how Filipinos and Foreigners are seen by their prospective opposites. These guys seem to have either gotten really fortunate about finding their partners, or there is just a vast amount of women that value healthy, loving relationships over monetary gain. Personally I believe the latter.

I can’t attest to the slumber/lumber because we have not slept alone yet together due to her preteen girls. But she always jokes to me about my egg being heavy when we’re in the trycycle….or she say like play ang lotto lotto 😂😂😂. She gooses me a lot, (which I don’t mind 😅) and sometimes will squeeze my nip.😂😂😂 (when we’re alone of-course)…so your right about Filipinas being “touchy feely” when they are comfortable to you.
Of course we enjoy your videos for the informational content, but honestly your facial expressions and body language are great entertainment. A mix of feminine, sometimes childish, completely open and often sophisticated. Nice to have watched you "growing up" over the history of your channel - gaining self confidence. You're gem!
