Here in the USA, I rely on the law firm of DITCER, QUICK & HYDE. If I end up retiring in the Philippines, I'll definitely be switching my allegiance to GRACELYN, BELLINGAN & BENNETT. I always appreciate Gracie's free "legal eagle" consults. Thanx Pea !!
Rule number 1. Never deny a Filipina the opportunity to work. Rule number 2. Encourage your girlfriend to get a job.. Rule number 3. Keep a record of the times you encourage your Filipina to seek employment and her response to this.
Rule #4 Create a Sexual Contract in English stating explicitly each and all Sexual Acts that she is going to perform for U and on U; and that U are going to perform for her and on her - and list what U R going to pay her for each of those Acts, and how often. Then have a Philippines Attorney draw up the same in Tagalog.
Unfortunately for me, my scammer was married to me. It didn't start out that way but, it sure did turn into that. Legally, I'm still married to her but, have not seen her in 21 years(believe me, it WAS because of her). She left me sick, homeless and nearly bankrupt. She also abandoned our son when he was only 15 years old!!! She used him(blamed him) to get all the money from me. Claiming he was "running up bills she had to go behind him and pay". It was all a lie! She was cheating on me and her new bf and her hatched a plan. Even her family turned on her. Since I last saw her, she has been pregnant at least 3 times I know of. Has lived in 4 provinces(Cebu, Leyte, Negros Oriental and now, Metro Manila) has not spoken to our son in 5 years. Her family told me her and her bf were also into drugs. Thankfully, I'm fine and, more importantly, my son is thriving as a Chef and is engaged to a wonderful young lady who just became a Registered Nurse.
@@TheFilipinaPea I never saw it coming. She was real good at it. I should of had an inkling of it when, at times, when I was there, she sounded like she didn't want to come here. But, when I would ask her, she always said she wanted to. Her cousin, who was in California, was suppose to take me in when I returned per agreement with the U.S. State Department(my government brought me back home after i was hospitalized there). I believe what happened is that she(my wife) told her cousin to lie to the government so they would give me the plane ticket and she didn't have to do anything else. I would up stranded at the airport in L.A. for 8 days followed by a 10 day hospitalization and 5 years of homelessness.
Thanks for sharing. I think there’s many many many stories like this. I remember when I was in the navy during the nineties working with sailors going thru the same thing. Some two or three times. In this case though it sounds like she got strung out on drugs. Shacked up with the wrong guy and fell off the track. To abandon her child is out of character for them and for their own family to disowned her is also very out of character. If it was methamphetamines then it’s a long road to sobriety.
Many of us don’t have much in The Philippines, we just drip feed enough funds month by month to keep things going. Some have houses and vehicles, and of course, they can be at risk. Never have too much in The Philippines, keep the bulk of your asset’s offshore.
I wonder if the anti-passport tiktokkers in the US are starting these rumours? Keep your Filippina love happy and work hard on the relationship and you won't have a problem. Thank Gracey for us! Thank you lovely Pea, looking out for us as always! ❤🥰
It could be that some people are conflating the Phil with Thailand, because (I heard) that divorce/common-law in Thailand is a lot like the West. I've heard horror stories of Thai women divorcing their foreigner husbands, after he spends a lot of money and buys a house for them, and kicking him out. That is not as easy to do in the Philippines (yet).
Don’t marry them, period. If you must, don’t grant them access to all accounts. I don’t think the Philippine legal system can garnish accounts outside the country. Maybe Gracie can confirm that.
@@redpillsatori3020Not quite. InnThailand , if you are married, then common law 50/50 applies for everything except land. Foreigners cannot own land. They can own a condo. With regard to land it is possible to get a 30 lease in your name. I think this is pretty much the same in the Philippines?
@@william7798 You said it. They’re fat, nasty attitude, masculine and high body count making them ram through and yet they think they’re 10 out of 10 🤣🤣
Nice to see Gracelyn again. She definitely is qualified to clear the air on this subject. So, a few takeaways: 1) If you plan to live in the Philippines for the rest of your life and plan on major purchases (condo, car, etc), make those purchases BEFORE you start dating. 2) Get to know the Filipina/Filipino you are dating VERY WELL before: a) "dipping your stick" b) moving in with each other c) marrying them. This takes SEVERAL months or even a year or two in the case of marriage. 3. Keep receipts of any major purchase and a paper trail on any asset transfers. 4. Keep your foreign bank account and make money transfers to a local Philippine bank for yearly/monthly/daily expenditures. 5. Treat your partner as you would want to be treated. She/He is not your maid, door mat, or possession (no matter what freaky stuff you are into). Pea, you vixen! Dropping another 2-parter on us! 😤 Oh well, we'll manage. Thanks for the info drop, and thanks to Gracie for provided the real facts on this issue. (PS: For the record, if you wanted to put on your Pirate Captain Pea costume and stay at my place being "eye-candy" all day long, I'd be okay with that. 🤭😜🤣)
Make her keep her current living apartment, mailing address, etc. She's always a "guest" in your place. Make sure she goes back to her place once in a while. Don't allow her to receive mail at your place. Don't give her a key to your place. Let her live out of her suitcase - don't let her store many of her things at your place. It will also make it easier to breakup if you need to. Also maybe keep her honest if she knows things can change the next time she goes all tampo.
the main key is, point number 5. Treat your partner with the love and respect that you wish to have in return. I think it's the main ingredient in any relationship.
If you live here for the rest of your life (dead) what do you care if the woman that was taking care of you in your dying years is compensated post mortem.
I used Gracey’s services through just a zoom meeting. The advice I got was well worth the cost. I will be using her legal services in the future, and from what I’ve experienced, I would have no problems recommending her.
How could anyone call transgender. Your femininity is natural. While ladyboys aka transgenders the femininity is over done. I love how you use humor and facts to crush the ignorance of people lol.
Between Gracey and JRC I think we can rest assured if we act honestly, with good intentions, and listen to good people, life in the Philippines can be great. Very helpful show today.
Be careful dude. I think they’re more dangerous than American women. We get caught off guard by their beauty and femininity then once you’re convinced you’ve snagged a unicorn they’ll cook ya. 👨🍳🔥At first glance it appears that they have unicorns growing on trees over there. 🦄 🏝️ 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 🌴
It doesn’t matter where you go in the world to look for relationships. The important thing is to be careful. There are people out to use you for their own personal gain.

Been here since 2009 with my Filipina. No problems. Actually it's a Major Pain in the Ass to allow her to do anything on my behalf financially, so no worries.

I lived in the P.I. for a year in 1971, these questions didn't even come to mind. It's interesting how they have advanced 50 years later. Not only do the questions get asked, but lawyers have researched answers that they're quick to refute.
It's gotten more "progressive" and developed here since those Marcos days (and before), but it's still more traditional and unchanged compared to how the West has changed over the past few decades.
I've heard a few of those lies about Filipinas. Of course I usually ask the person to provide proof. To which they usually give the generic answer of a friend of a third cousin's uncle knew someone who heard about someone to whom that happened. Gracelyn is always so helpful. It was nice to see her again. Stay safe from the storms, beautiful Pea.
@@TheFilipinaPeaditto. The only time i hear an attorney i hadn’t paid for, a personal friend who is a lawyer or a commercial on tv “have you suffered personal injury?”
I moved to the Philippines in 2012, oh! and by the way, I have been following your channel since you started, and you deserve all the rewards that have come to you, very informative, my experience living in the Philippines for 11 years and living with Filipina for a long time, 3 serious relationships, the first two I was still learning lol, the last one I blame the pandemic , a 5 year relationship that one. I learned early that as a foreigner I have no rights here, and I have lived here under this knowledge, I only rent , I only have a bank account from my country Australia, my income comes from there as well , and I don’t own anything here except a cheap car, this means the girl I have been serious with, has chosen me because of me, not what I have, and I can pack a back and leave any situation at any time
Pea & Gracelyn: Thank you so much for the legal information. Videos like this bring peace of mind in the knowledge of things foreigners are and are not allowed to do in your country, and how to protect themselves with the law on their side. It's interesting learning the actual differences between countries, rather than the diluted BS some people will spew out just because they are butt hurt about the situation in their own country they are facing and claim it's the same way everywhere without finding out the reality of the situation. With your giving us the actual legal information from your country it creates a peace of mind knowing that people coming to your country are covered by law. I really like the way that you ask questions to Gracelyn that sound odd, but real in the way of how some people would try to shift the legal system in their favor to take advantage of another person. Great questions and scenarios. This is exactly how to help protect your audience, By asking the questions that may or may not come to reality to find out what the outcomes would be. Can't wait for part 2!
Thanks CK! I’m always trying to think like a diabolical Filipina, then find out how to defeat my ideas so I can tell you folks how to protect yourselves 👍😊
Couples here in America have all kinds of scenerios. Not just the Philipines. Just being gentle, slow and let Christ bring you together to your mate. Marriage is not mutually exclusive to the womans right of free agency. Support each others dreams with trust. Kindness rules everything. Thats my experience. 😊
Very informative. I think you put to rest a lot of concerns that us men have. You are very good at what you do. Keep up the good work. Trying to get over to the Philippines myself but selling homes are difficult with such high home interest rates.
@@TheFilipinaPea The only problem I have is not being able to buy a home in the Philippines with out being married. To your comment, in real estate usually with the increase of interest rates it forces most owners to lower their price. So a cash game is king in this situation. I do have an additional question for you. Maybe you can do a video on it. Most of the bloggers I have spoken to tell me they would never buy a condo in the Philippines. That the value is not there. What's your thoughts on a foreigner buying a condo?
@@StoicEver That was 3 months ago and buyers interest rates hurt my bottom line in what I could get for my home. I am now in the Philippines and getting acclimated to the city life an culture. It might take you longer than you think and want.
Thanks for clearing this up. Personally I don't have to worry about this. Plan on bring my fiance back to the states till I retire, then moving back to Philippines as husband and wife
Advice to all the viewers here., bookmark this video. If any Filipina ever tells you she’s going to file to claim any of your stuff, be nice, be agreeable and say to her, “I can see your point of view. Watch this video and then we can talk about a fair split of the assets.” This will fool her into watching the video, and by watching it she will realize that you know she doesn’t have a leg to stand on. Once she’s acknowledged watching the video, which will be evident by the very combative mood she will be in, that’s when you tell her to go pound sand. Next problem!
You might fool yourself by agreeing to "talk" about fair split of assets after she watches. The courts may conclude you indented to fairly split assets if you brought up talking about it....hmmmmm..
Another way to keep these things from happening is to just only date women that are "The Filipina Pea" subscribers. As soon as they find out that the men have the correct information straight from REPUTIBLE sources, it might calm the sea of love back to a more relaxing motion.
Or you could laugh at her face, tell her to f*ck off, and visit another island in search of a less crazy one. And also reexamine your social skills in choosing girls. That also. 😏
@@ryanjones7543 a fair split, of assets you paid for 100%, would be 100% to you and none to her. Anything above 0% to her would define "more than fair."
I've always heard foreigners cannot own property, meaning land, in the Philippines. You had to go through a Filipino. That is why I was confused when it was mentioned a foreigner could purchase a condo. Thank you for presenting this information today, Ms Pea. Have a nice weekend.
Very intelligent lady. I do like the discussions with the lawyer. You put a lot of effort to make your videos entertaining. You also seem to be able to empathise with us foreign men. Very good.
Welcome back to the show Gracelyn. I am happy to see my favorite two information providers once again. I will be moving to the Philippines to be with Sofia at the end of August. I am under no illusions, Sofia and I have a plan and that includes her future stability When I pass. I fully intend to ensure her rights will be protected. Great video ladies, love you both.
Hi Pea, I guess the overall summary here is get yourself settled before you move someone in long term. More importantly if you need to know where you stand get a lawyer there and have a consultation. When it comes to finding a lawyer is there any regulatory body over there that oversees lawyers or do you just have to use word of mouth to locate someone reliable?
Good information in this video. My wife and I shared a home in Olongapo, then she got pregnant. We got married, then 3 months later Arlene was born!. In August 33 years for us.
Always an enlightening and joyful moment of information when (legalities of relationship understanding) you collaborate with Gracey Pea, you ask the necessary questions and Gracey provides clear, concise answers even for the laymen to understand for avoiding hassles. It is not always necessarily the Filipina. Many men allow their egos to get the better of themselves. Losing the knowledge in one head to wreak havoc using their other head. Thanks for sharing, Pea.
One way to avoid these responsibilities is to work on the "exclusive relation" part. Some friends of mine, in my country, have two relationships just with the purpose that neither two women can claim exclusiveness, hence avoiding the consequences of common law marriage. That's the best example know where two halves don't make a whole.
Hello MsPea I’ve been watching your video for a long time time trying to get good information about living here in the Philippines. I’ve been in the Philippines on 3 different trips with this third trip being my move over here. To sum up my time in the Philippines, I’ve been told by every single Filipino who I’ve spoken with and with some I consider as associates. I never really meant why every single Filipino would tell me to be careful, I was assuming it was about my safety but that wasn’t the case. The people I’ve met and somewhat befriended here are nice people and have given me some good insight and also tell me “Don’t trust anyone “, with that being said most every single person I come into contact with have tried to take advantage of me and some have been successful. When I’ve spoken with the very few locals I have had connections with and trust what they say they always apologize for the behavior of the people that scammed me out of quite a bit of my money. I’m now living in the Cebu area and the only thing that has changed is location. The very few Filipinos I consider a friend are in the Manila area. But it seems to me when I walk around anywhere in the Philippines I’m strictly looked at as a walking ATM. The few friends that have told me many times to don’t trust anyone which I had to put up my gaurd now how can I foreigner actually make friends when even the locals are telling you “Don’t Trust Anyone”. I came here alone and started out not knowing a soul but I quickly learned since I’m alone and not knowing how life works here the foreigners are rich and if your not giving them money then they start talking to you in the local language. I’m now starting to wonder if this is where I want to be. My experience, and mainly due to being alone I’ve been a prime target for anyone and everyone to try to take advantage of me. All of the videos I’ve seen from you can’t really show what life is like trying to live here as a expat alone. But your country is a very beautiful place and I’m not going to allow any person to change my choice in living here. I just have to stay away from everyone which will take away the chance for anyone to try again. 😊😊 still watching your videos, they just started showing up on my feed again.
Hello Pea. Always good to hear from Gracie when she’s able to be on. Learn so much from the legal perspective of the way things are handled in the Philippines. Her Dr. skills are pretty darn good too 👍. Have a great weekend and look forward to part 2 week.
Thank you Pea for this video…buy the way no exam necessary its easy to tell you are all woman‼️ 😊. Also thank you for introducing Atty. Gracelyn Bellingan-Bennett
If it gets to the point litigation is required... interview three lawyers and hire the best one. Often, the better ones can be more expensive... but you'll likely get what you pay for. Also, be sure the lawyer is familiar or knows the judge. Since you are the foriegner, you'll need to spend money to equalize the playing field.
Or, don't play a rigged game. Own way is the best way. I found it too difficult (and all fake love) in the PH. I had initial hope and cope, but it was all a delusion.
Speaking as an American attorney, I don't think most people understand what common law marriage is. In most states, it's simply not a thing. There is no common law marriage. In a few it is a thing; however it is very limited. It hardly ever applies to anybody. And when it is invoked or used, it's only use in very specific circumstances typically to protect a weak party. It's one of those legal terms that people throw around all the time and have no idea what it means. And, in the United States, it is not possible to be in a common law marriage by accident. You must hold yourselves out as married. Few people do that who are not actually married
@@TheFilipinaPea it means you act as though you are married. You introduced each other as your husband or wife. For example. You tell everyone you are married. You change any documentation you have to reflect the fact that you are married. Even though you're not. Perhaps you wear wedding rings. You do all those things. Even though you're not married. This is quite rare
Great lawyer! I believe it is always wise to have a talk with her and have her number handy! It's relaxing to know the hype is just apparent, but sometimes the sole menace of a court procedure can lead you to "settle things down" and do things you are not required to. Thank you, Pea! Love your content!
14:35 Gracie said civil case can't constrain leaving the country. Most of us don't desire to stay long. Relationships don't last. And 99% of the time it's fake love (for dark age delusional gender roles when people actually believed in god, country and family). Just have fun.
You"re too funny, Pea! "We're gonna need a bigger boat...!" 🤣🤣 Another awesome video! You have earned almost a quarter of a million subs through hard work, massive creativity and a commitment to excellence. We all love you, Pea!
Hi Pea, in America when you are not married you are not entitled to anything of the other party. To be entitled to monies from the other party you must be married to access "divorce" court. As you said in conclusion, keep everything separated and pay your own bills.
Don't buy anything more then a scooter. if you want a house then rent a nipa, bamboo house with folded steel roof and ceiling. Be sure to live no higher than one step above homeless. this way if you brake up, you sell the scooter and the tv and divide it 50/50
Thank you for the information. FYI, in the U.S. there is only a few States that recognize Common Law Marriage. I think seven or eight. I don't live in one of them.😀 And each State has it's own marriage and divorce laws.🤔
This video made me realize to stay single, and not live together with a woman that is after a man’s assets… I am turned off by materialistic women that look for nothing but security… There’s takers and givers, and I do not like takers…❤
It's terrible that a woman wants security and stability ... shame on her. On the other hand, it took you 9 months to leave the womb, and all you have been doing all your adult life is looking for a way back into it. If you're afraid, there is a prenuptial agreement, dude...
That's a relief for a lot of Americans because many states here have a law that's similar, called "common law", which the state will assume you're living together as 'married-like' after a period of time. In my state is only two years, which is insane cause that's barely enough time to get to know if you're going to be taking the relationship seriously.
Another thing I would suggest is taking inventory of your belongings along with photos of dated receipts. This is something I'm used to because of common law here.
Why would you move in a girl with you in America if it wasn't serious? If it is not serious don't live together. Only 8 states still have common law marriage in America Also it takes more than just living together to be considered common law marriage. Example Texas Sec. 2.401. PROOF OF INFORMAL MARRIAGE. (a) In a judicial, administrative, or other proceeding, the marriage of a man and woman may be proved by evidence that: (1) a declaration of their marriage has been signed as provided by this subchapter; or (2) the man and woman agreed to be married and after the agreement they lived together in this state as husband and wife and there represented to others that they were married.
@@TheFilipinaPea Absolutely 💯. We who actually know some Pinay know they are not pushovers or timid. Filipina turned the slipper toss into an Olympic sport. More dangerous than tatays bolo. 😳 🏃♂️
“Who do you know with a Filipina who lasted more than 3 years and is not married?” That would be me. On and off for four years, too much stealing and lies. Finally I walked away. And in my defense I’ll add that I kept her around during the pandemic because she was the only girl registered at my condo building and so I couldn’t bring in a new girl even if I had met one. So I took the practical approach and brought her back in one last time to have company during the lockdowns. You can call me an opportunist, but what Filipina isn’t? Lol
Yeah makes sense to me. As long as a foreigner isn't exploiting children, I tend to side/sympathize with the foreigner more than the locals. No one is looking out for your best interest here, and most people (who proactively attempt to interact with you here) are often just trying to use your for money, so I think it's fair game. It is quite cut-throat here, both in the literal and figurative sense, so watch your back, and don't let them emotionally manipulate you.
@@TheFilipinaPea I make it clear that I’m not looking for marriage or children. I just want an equitable relationship that lasts as long as both participants feel it’s working for them. The rest just adds complication. Anyway, cheers and thanks for responding.
@@Funky1ism Glad you're happy, but you're into common law marriage territory at 7 years, so she can go after half of your assets should you guys ever break up. Keep that in mind.
I've had a circumstance where I needed Mrs. Gracelyn's help before. She's very quick to reply emails and she's very understanding and knowledgeable about her job. Thankfully things worked themselves out and I didn't need her. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her if you need legal services.
Oi Miss Pea. You are too funny, but thanks for the information. As I told you before I am married to a filipina. But none of this has ever been a worry for me. I don't think it is difficult to see that stuff coming down the road. Foreigners need to think with the brain on their shoulders and not the brain swinging.
Honestly I think that many foreigners get too used to the way things go in their original country that they believe that it's the way it is everywhere else in the world. Thankfully we have Pea and Gracelyn to educate us on the reality of the situation rather than be blinded by the dogmatic views people without information spew out the gaping hole in their faces.
@TheFilipinaPea yes very happy. She has 2 great boys. I bought a house in Baguio and the 3 hectares it sits on is in her name. Love the Philippines cannot see moving away.
If I were to be so bold as to rate my two favorite Filipina's, Pea and Gracie are the top two I've ever seen. Thank you for yet another happy Friday with your video Pea!
Great content 👍. Looking forward to part 2. BTW, about that gynecological exam; it's good to see that you won't need to use any tranny fluid, but a little tuna helper might help clear up that condition you have. Also, I'm only guessing you got the boot from Mardi gras as I noticed the Louisiana license plate 😂.
Just want to clarify: There are 50 states in the United States so there are 50 separate says of laws concerning marriage, divorce, and family law. Different states have different rules concerning common law marriage if they even recognize it. Not all do. There's is significant variation between states. Great info, thanks.
Excellent video! Apparently cases on the laws have appeared before the courts resulting in written judicial decisions clarifying how the laws are applied. Both you and Gracelyn did a great job. Thanks to both of you!
Another great Video. Gracelyn is still just as beautiful and just as smart. here in the States it is 7 years. But like Gracelyn said most people don't live with a person that long with out getting married.
@@TheFilipinaPea Some feel they need to get married. Some rush with hopes of starting a family and some just do it because all their friends are married. I have a friend that is married I was over to his place and was laughing joking and I asked his wife so let me ask you something as Beautiful as you are why on earth did you marry this guy? She looks at him thought a moment and said well at that time I thought he might be all I could get but I should have waited a little longer. My friend started laughing I said Bro why are you laughing. He said if he knew then what he knows now he would not have bought a ring. Not long after he found out she had been cheating on him.
Every day shows me that you are going to earn very soon the official title of THE PHILIPPINE CULTURAL AMBASSADOR . Your strong love to open all type of foreigners eyes about the culture, laws, family, and beauty of your country makes you really unique… thanks for being exactly the way you are. 😊 Definitely Gracelyn already gained a client with me when I move to your country as her dominance of local law is strong and clear, and me coming from a family with several lawyers in it, I know of the importance pf learning and respecting it. Guess that if someone wants to move to a new area of the world blind folded they are just fools. But when one plans intelligently all aspects of that move, then it can be much safer. I approve any law that protect the well being of any local women from foreigners that just uses them for their own interest…all human beings have human rights against emotional abuses. Everyone needs to know the laws that rules on the land their feet stands on. Claiming ignorance of the law will not exempt them for paying the consequences of breaking them…. Ganahan kaayo ko nimo kay talagsaon ug maamumahon nga tawo.
I saw a video where you were in my area, St. Augustine, Daytona, etc, I hope you liked it. Wish I was here and knew, I would have liked to say hi in person. Take care. You are a pro at what you do.

Rule #5 - Have her sign both, have her place her inked finger print on both, and U do the same. Take a photo of her ID.
Rule #6 - If she refuses to sign - Terminate the relationship! If she refuses to take the money, Terminate the Relationship.
Not work… just not work overseas if she’s the one taking care of the kids and you are the one earning money
That sounds like a pretty good strategy 👍😊
(Make sure you watch part 2 to see how right you are)
Unfortunately for me, my scammer was married to me.
Oh my GOSH, Ken! Did she turn on you suddenly, or did you see it coming? 🥺🥺
I would up stranded at the airport in L.A. for 8 days followed by a 10 day hospitalization and 5 years of homelessness.
hold you head up high you good man.

@trevorsmith7753he’s such a catch what’s holding you back 😂
Many of us don’t have much in The Philippines, we just drip feed enough funds month by month to keep things going. Some have houses and vehicles, and of course, they can be at risk.
Never have too much in The Philippines, keep the bulk of your asset’s offshore.

Nice to see Gracelyn again. She definitely is qualified to clear the air on this subject.
So, a few takeaways:
1) If you plan to live in the Philippines for the rest of your life and plan on major purchases (condo, car, etc), make those purchases BEFORE you start dating.

I learned early that as a foreigner I have no rights here, and I have lived here under this knowledge, I only rent , I only have a bank account from my country Australia, my income comes from there as well , and I don’t own anything here except a cheap car, this means the girl I have been serious with, has chosen me because of me, not what I have, and I can pack a back and leave any situation at any time
That’s a very smart JJ 👍👍🤣

Thank you so much for the legal information.

Yes, that’s it exactly!!
As for a regulatory agency, I bet there is one, but people usually use word of mouth 👍

One way to avoid these responsibilities is to work on the "exclusive relation" part. Some friends of mine, in my country, have two relationships just with the purpose that neither two women can claim exclusiveness, hence avoiding the consequences of common law marriage.

The info you provide is invaluable. The more you know ... thanks, Pea.

I think they confuse it with palimony
Thanks for that, Kevin! Can you tell us what ‘holding yourself out as married means’? 👍😊
Palimony????? 😳😳😳

This is quite rare
Great lawyer!

Wow, only 2 years?? 😳😳
Why would you move in a girl with you in America if it wasn't serious? If it is not serious don't live together. Only 8 states still have common law marriage in America
Also it takes more than just living together to be considered common law marriage.
Example Texas
Sec. 2.401. PROOF OF INFORMAL MARRIAGE. (a) In a judicial, administrative, or other proceeding, the marriage of a man and woman may be proved by evidence that:
(1) a declaration of their marriage has been signed as provided by this subchapter; or
(2) the man and woman agreed to be married and after the agreement they lived together in this state as husband and wife and there represented to others that they were married.
This is objectively not true. The majority of states here DO NOT have common law. It’s only a 10 states plus Washington D.C.
Always the best and definitely the most reliable advice...2nd to none....always looking out for the expat....what more could I ask for...WELL?
I’m sure you’ll think of something 🤣🤣👍
Looking forward to visiting! 😉🙏🏾❤️
The mistake I try to avoid with Pinay is to wear outside shoes inside and not confuse my outside slippers with inside slippers. 🤦🏻♂️ 😅 😂
They need to be color coded..
@@thomasauslander3757Right. They start barking in machine gun speed Tagalog you know you messed up.
Hahahahaha
Yes, that is the most important concern 🤣
@@TheFilipinaPea Absolutely 💯. We who actually know some Pinay know they are not pushovers or timid. Filipina turned the slipper toss into an Olympic sport. More dangerous than tatays bolo. 😳 🏃♂️
Hi Pea. How is your day?
I’m been a busy beaver! 🤣🤣🤣
@@TheFilipinaPea You said that there are no beavers in the Philippines.
@@robertburnston6586 That's a lie !!!! I just saw a beaver that eats tuna !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
“Who do you know with a Filipina who lasted more than 3 years and is not married?”
That would be me. Lol
Good thing you walked away in time!!! 😳👍
I am living with my Filipina girlfriend for 7 years, and we are not married. Its good and we are happy!
@@Funky1ism Glad you're happy, but you're into common law marriage territory at 7 years, so she can go after half of your assets should you guys ever break up. Keep that in mind.
Kudos and salamat to Pea and Gracelyn. Important content. Send lechon...
😂😂😂
Thanks Michael 👍❤️
Thanks!
Thanks so much for the tip, Chris 👍❤️
I am gonna be brief on this. 90% of Filipinas is perfect.
Avoid:
1) bringing them to live in the west.
2) Live close to her parents
Live at least 1 island away from her parents and family, for some personal space.
@@dennisw5803 there are over 7000 islands in the phils.....put a bit more in between, just to be make sure 😁
Then I hope I’m in the 90% 😂
@@TheFilipinaPea you are the gold standard Pea
🤔
i need a lawyer how do i contact gracey to hire her ?
Her contact info is in the description box of this video, as well as in top pinned comment 👍
(She really knows her stuff, too)
I've had a circumstance where I needed Mrs.
So you’ve taken the plunge? Are you happy so far? ❤️❤️👍
Thanks for the advice ladies!
If I were to be so bold as to rate my two favorite Filipina's, Pea and Gracie are the top two I've ever seen. Thank you for yet another happy Friday with your video Pea!
Please do be so bold 👍👍😂
Marry in haste, repent at leisure.
🤣🤣🤣👍
Never heard that one before
Great content 👍.
HAHAHAHAHA
the lawyer is cute
Yes she is! 👍👍😊
And Pea is cute as well.
Thanks for the reiterating your advice and content and rumors and laws and my hopes and dreams and desires in those details.
🥰 thank you Governor P.
Glad to be of assistance, Brownel 👍👍😊
Always great to see a educated and beautiful woman like Gracey lay down the law.
Kind of a turn-on! 😂😂
@@TheFilipinaPea Be careful it you keep hanging out and getting intimate like that exam..
pea get a job im not ready to go to prison for you ,,,hehehe char
I asked, and RUclips counts as a job - so we’re safe 🤣👍
@@TheFilipinaPea wow what a relief now we can have them 12 babies we talked about and i wont be scared to lose the farm or go to the brig hahaha
Another very informative video! Thanks. You're always looking great too!
Just want to clarify:
There are 50 states in the United States so there are 50 separate says of laws concerning marriage, divorce, and family law. Different states have different rules concerning common law marriage if they even recognize it. Not all do. There's is significant variation between states.
Great info, thanks.
You have one quirky sense of humor, lady.😊 Thanks!
I’m being informed. And I’m enjoying this.
I hope you’re enjoying yourself, too.
Brilliant advice love your channel so informative honest and open
Excellent video! Apparently cases on the laws have appeared before the courts resulting in written judicial decisions clarifying
how the laws are applied. Both you and Gracelyn did a great job. Thanks to both of you!
Most beautiful lawyer 100%
Another great Video. Gracelyn is still just as beautiful and just as smart. here in the States it is 7 years. But like Gracelyn said most people don't live with a person that long with out getting married.
Everyone’s in such a rush! 😳😳
Very good information Pea and Gracelyn
Thanks!! 👍👍
very interesting thanks for thoose informations
You’re very welcome, Sebastian! 👍👍
It all sounds very logical and fair to me.
👍👍👍👍😊
Every day shows me that you are going to earn very soon the official title of THE PHILIPPINE CULTURAL AMBASSADOR . Your strong love to open all type of foreigners eyes about the culture, laws, family, and beauty of your country makes you really unique… thanks for being exactly the way you are. 😊
Definitely Gracelyn already gained a client with me when I move to your country as her dominance of local law is strong and clear, and me coming from a family with several lawyers in it, I know of the importance pf learning and respecting it.
THANKS for that! ❤️❤️❤️
