Justin Vivian Bond absolutely nailed it as Desire. I mean don't get me wrong, this might just be the best collective group audio performance of all time, but JVB as Desire sounded EXACTLY like I heard when I read the books.
Now I want to see Taron as Constantine.

I don't know about "delicious," I'll leave that to other judges, but I don't recall them looking so *blue* before. I've seen McAvoy in movies and noticed that, yeah, he's got blue eyes, but in this video they are quite striking.

My favorite bit of Neil Gaiman's language is how he described Lucifer; "Beautiful, grave, a face that has your best interest at heart" made that character absolutely fucking terrifying in the most brilliant way.

Its lovely to see the passion in everyones eyes and how you can feel it in their words. Its simply spectacular in every conceivable way. And the music that fills a thousand moments yet feels designed with only what youre precisely listening in mind, hope we get it release separately in the future. Quite nice video :)
The Corinthian loves to see passion in the eyes as well... It really brings out the flavour

Matthew The Raven sounds pretty much how I thought it sounded like when I read the comic. I must say, eventhough audiobooks are not for me (I've tried but I will always prefer physical mediums), I do want to listen to the whole The Sandman with this voices. I just revisited the comic (since I read it many years ago) but I do want to listen to this. Just amazing
Seen the Netflix version, but this one will always have my heart! Their completely accurate when they say it's like they step right out of your imagination. It's amazing, I urge anyone who's read the comics or seen the series, to listen to audible's version of Sandman.

This was one of my the best purchases I ever made on Audible. I was recovering from a LASIK operation and couldn't watch anything, this was absolutely perfect for me!!
I've said it once and I'll say it again. This audio experience is the stuff of dreams. Ever since listening to the podcast 'Halo: Hunt The Truth', I've been struggling to find an audio experience of storytelling with the same level of production, immersion, and voice acting that I experienced so viscerally. Every chore, every meal cooked, every task taken was infact the background noise to this journey, not the other way around. My only regret is to be robbed of hearing it for the first time ever again. I hope more of Morpheus's tales are explored with the same quality and passion by this very same team in the future. Knowing the current state of things, I know it's unlikely, but a man can dream.
Couldnt find halo hunt the truth!! I need more recommendations that are similar to the sandman.

Just finished part one and, WOW! I’ve read and reread the Sandman series almost 10 times for eleven years and this was an amazing experience. Such a perfect cast with incredible direction. I can’t describe how happy I was enjoying this audio drama. It was like rediscovering my favorite stories all over again
Damn the actors they chose are all amazing! well i will say Kat isnt convincing me as Death. I do wish we would get a movie adaptation or better yet an animated one. I do think we deserve a Sandman adaptation.

I started reading the comics back in May 2020. Then, the audio drama came out the day before my birthday, and now I’m just completely obsessed with it.

When i bought the first graphic novel Preludes and Nocturnes I hadn’t picked up a comic book since my early years as a youngster around 12, but everything I was hearing about the sandman? Made it too temping to not get it and the whole world of the endless,of course I was drawn in by its wonderful storytelling style and the graphics of it! Now I’m immersed in the audiobook and what a treat it is!
Hoolyyy. I was sold on this by James McAvoy as Morpheus but I never thought the cast was this good. I only now after 13 chapters in, decided to look up the cast and I can see why it is as good as it it.
Ha - I was just watching another video about this, and trying to come up with what I thought Desire's voice should sound like. Then I noticed this video, and what do you know, Justin Vivian Bond's voice is so PERFECTLY on-point with what I thought that it honestly kinda freaked me out for a minute.

Really addicted to Neil Gaiman's books and voice so yeah, I'll listen to everything he reads. Listened to the Sandman for the fifth time and it's my favorite audiobook ever! REALLY EPIC! Morpheus just became my favorite endless!

I bought Sandman comics recently, and I am looking foward to seeing it! And that books(vol 1 and vol3) were already out of print in my country. So I even bought at second hand. And I am glad that there are translation versions-as Korean. That said, that book is really well known and I found out they were translated in 2009.
Plus even though I didn't very think of audiobook, but here James' Dream voice is so convincing and it does powerful, with a decent eerie feeling. That's a quite quality..

I got this on Audible a couple months ago, along with American Gods. I loved both productions! I'm very glad I decided to buy the Audible version of each story. Both of them were excellent! Now I'm a big fan of Neil Gaiman! Believe it or not, he did an episode of Doctor Who during Matt Smith's tenure as the 11th Doctor. Then, he co-authored Good Omens with Terry Pratchett. I plan on investing in anything he writes. I highly recommend The Sandman and American Gods, and the rest of his books.
Do they do every book or certain ones? I'm thinking of getting both the audio and Kindle to follow

One of the most engrossing edge of the mind truly goosebumps worthy audio series that I can't express how much I love love loved. It was equally mind and soul captivating as well as exquisite storytelling with sheer brilliance of story writing. I am just amazed beyond my wildest dream. Supremely eager to lend my ears to Act Ii coming soon. You just can't hear it enough times, just keep listening...
