For some reason Jet is stronger than it has any right to be. Only downside is less vertical control, which made the final attack kinda scary when I first did it.

all that time, i thought the music was like that to show how corrupted nova was, just like haltmann's theme. but now i realize that it is haltmann who is messing up nova (trying to stop star dream i assume), and because of that the music sounds corrupted, after you defeat all the pillars (bassically the remaining of haltmann's memories), the music changes (in 1:42), and the music is no longer corrupted.
Made even more depressing when you realize that in her hubris, Susie doomed her father in her attempt to open his eyes. Using Star Dream the first time to return her to him from another dimension had erased any memory he had of who she was, and this time, he was too intrinsically connected to Star Dream, to the point where he and the machine were one and the same, and the machine was quick to assume full control thinking his identity was an error to be rectified. Haltmann was gone by the time you reach the core, all you hear is a ghost in the machine.
Sir, I'd like to compliment you on how smooth you made that tradition. It's hard to tell when Soul 0 System stops and Vagrant Keepsake of Oblivion begins! Wonderful job!

Probably one; if not THE most darkest kirby game, and its all thanks to star dream. Edit: This was before star allies: and yes, i do agree sa is the darkest.
I’m pretty convinced It’s Star allies. Kirby has the power to make his friends go poof from existence, and has to travel the galaxy to stop a threat existing in every dimension, which when revealed, is a darkmatter with the same face as him, And a distorted version of his voice.
The final phase is a jerk even if you remove the last resort attack. It is really hard to hit floating teleporting things with stars in a kirby game. As well as most of its attacks cover a big part, if not all of the screen. I really need to get a hang of this one.
Soul 0S kinda puts it into perspective how terrifying the NOVA systems are. They grant wishes, but they easily corrupt the wisher, extremely easily too. Marx wanted power, to the point he gave up his own soul for it. Haltmann wished his daughter back, only to lose every last memory of Susie because of his overuse of the unfinished SOUL system, not even recognizing her when she'd reappear
I really liked each part of this track when I played, although I remembered them in a different order. Looking at these now, it's all the same two memes even I know too well.
