@@Yoshi11720 that only raises the question: did he always plan for that to be there? did he just expect it to eject Kirby out and not also explode the ship in the process?
@@cobaltordinaire5219 The mechanism likely appeared when the Robobot armor absorbed the Halberd, and Meta Knight somehow made the connection of what he had to do during that moment. The way I interpret star dream’s fatal error is that haltmann’s wish was to bring Susie back. However, Susie does not exist, at least to star dream, and thus star dream’s, attempting to find and revive a person who never was, crashes.
These are all the official names given for these tracks. Hirokazu Ando loves to give titles like these to his music tracks, and If I recall correctly, Star Allies does similar things. NOTE: I'M SORRY ABOUT WRITING SUCH A LONG COMMENT. I WANNA KEEP IT ANYWAYS BECAUSE IT HAS A FEW LIKES. If Miraitowa and Someity (mascots for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics/Paralympics) had a boss fight theme, this would work perfectly when you fight both or one of them. Also don't forget about Miraity (a semi-official Miraitowa/Someity fusion design), that theme would work for it too for all of the same reasons. So I'll tell you why it works. So basically, the first thing that works is the instruments used, the instruments are all synths and futuristic ones. This fits in Robobot's futuristic theming. What else has futuristic themes? That's right! Miraitowa and Someity! While this fact is a lesser known one about them, Miraitowa and Someity actually live in the digital world and can move freely between that place and the real world through the internet and vice versa. This is shown in their debut trailer where we got to see that these are specific areas in cyberspace and how going to the real world looks like. As seen in the same trailer, they leave trails of what appears to be a digital substance when doing things like moving really fast. The second reason is how important it sounds. Star Dream is a powerful computer with god like powers (especially when it fuses with what appears to be it's missing half and is revealed to be a planet sized Nova). The Halberd Mode Robobot Armour is MICROSCOPIC compared to Star Dream in this phase! The Olympics is one of (if not) the most well known and oldest sporting event still running today. Unlike other sporting events, it started off in ancient Greece but later got revived and modernised. Not to mention that back then, it was associated with the Greek Gods! Miraitowa and Someity seem to have things reminisient of Gods in their things. The debut trailer and Are You Ready animations had Godly music, their logos shined in a very Holy way in their debut trailer and Japan sacrified their electricity supply to make pixel art of them appear on a building (not for bad reasons but for good reasons) in the debut trailer. This electricity sacrifice is reminisient of a religious sacrifice to a God. It's unknown if Miraitowa and Someity are actual Gods or it's that their Olympic status makes them similar to that but regardless of which one is true, it will still work anyways. This is because Miraitowa and Someity have powers. Both can move extremely fast, teleport, are experts at physical combat and Olympic sports and can go to cyberspace. Miraitowa can create illusionary duplicates of itself (I think and even if I misremebered, it will still probably be able to learn how to do anyways) and scream very loud. Someity is capable of telepathy, telekinesis, flight without wings and talking to wind and stones. Due to these powers, it'll be hard for anybody to fight at least one of them without losing before landing a single blow. The third reason is how chaotic it is. I'd imagine a fight between at least one of them being very chaotic. It'll have extremely fast movement, limited time to land a blow, teleportation, and teleport spam. Don't forget they can use their other powers they don't share to find more ways to make the fight harder. This theme truly encapsulates the chaos and difficulty of a fight against Miraitowa, Someity, or both of them. The fourth reason is that it gives of a mysterious vibe. As cool as they are, we don't know what Miraitowa and Someity are supposed to be. Are they gods? Are they individuals of a species? What species are they? We don't know the science behind their powers. We don't know what Miraity is meant to be. We don't know what the purpose of the ritual shown in the debut trailer. This song can suit the existance of all of those mysteries regarding them. Of course they'd need an original boss fight theme because they are not Galactic Novas. If somebody wants to compose a boss fight theme for them or one of them, then you should use this song as inspiration. You should incorperate futuristic instruments, important, chaotic and mysterious vibes to it much like this song has. It doesn't need to be fast as this song works perfectly despite it being at a medium speed. The song should be medium speed at least.

Money, money, could never heal my heart!
And the code, of my soul and my daughter, are doomed...
To be apart!
Here's something funny that happened earlier today:
So I normally kill this boss in about 4 minutes, and I never really saw what happens after the 1 (it's usually dead by then) so then when it had barely any health left I just though "hey I wonder what will happen if I let it survive any longer" and then it had a fatal error and I died from full health because of that
Fyi with perfectly timed barrel rolls it possible to survive FATAL ERROR
why the hardest ever boss fights need to have like the best soundtracks ever
just wait until you play the true arena to do 100%. that is extremely difficult
Because it make sense?

I love how the over the top name "Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection: The Keepsake of Oblivion" is immediately followed up on the soundtrack by "Pink Ball Revolution"

The best part of this track for me is the callback to Heart of Nova from Milky Way Wishes. It's perfect as both bosses take place in space against a machine.
Not just any machine. A clockwork star
Especially at 3:34. The song merges with the original song to *really* remind you about the original fight
Old on a big giant second...

Someone already made a garbage Star Dream Fnf mod, so don’t worry about adding that into the mix.
imo robobot has the best soundtrack in the kirby series
really good music
What the heck I just came from a remix of this music and when I watched the remix and then watched this it literally perfectly transitioned
I know I'm late on this, but I'd like it if you could upload a version of this with just the third phase theme of star dream if possible, so without the versions that play during the additional phases in the true arena. I want this theme in my playlist, but I don't like the version that starts at 3:06 as much.
That might not be a bad idea, will consider it.
I love this game because of the gimmick is so fun.
This has no right to go as hard as it does.
Something about this theme reminds me of something. Feels like the past.
vs star dream nova (phase 3)
if in true arena
star dream soul os (final phase)
the most epic final boss theme
i have ever heard...
I remember having SO much trouble with this as a kid 😭
I know youll never see this but what's the difference between counting song and keepsake besides where the loop starts?
Actually, the title of this vid is kind of misleading, since the songs in this vid in order are: Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection, then Soul 0 System, and then Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection again.
@@YoshiAteTooManyYoshiCookies vagrant keepsake of oblivion is the name of nova's nucleus second phase
@@YoshiAteTooManyYoshiCookies But so is the offical releases, where the tracks are called Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection and Soul 0 System/Vargant Keepsake of Oblivion, so Keepsake of Oblivion despite having minimal diffrences are inded separate tracks
When I first played this game I had no idea what Star Dream was or what a clockwork star was. This was my fifth ever Kirby game and I had no idea what was going on. Safe to say I was completely and utterly confused out of my mind.
If this boss had a Star Allies splash screen: Artificial Clockwork Star - Star Dream
Jury-rigged Halcandran Construct - Star Dream Soul OS
Jerry-Rigged, but you are absolutely correct.
@@jacksonvoet8312 Thx for the correction
@@DarkRazor-yw3hl No problem. It’s an honest mistake, one that I’ve probably made before.
The way I interpret star dream’s fatal error is that haltmann’s wish was to bring Susie back. However, Susie does not exist, at least to star dream, and thus star dream’s, attempting to find and revive a person who never was, crashes.
Hey guys i might be going off on a limb here but i think this kinda sounds like the title theme
Can’t really hear it really, sounds more like the title screen of Sonic Planet Skyrim Deluxe
man too bad you have to play the entire true arena to fight against the heart, i loved that fight
Kirby superstar was my first Kirby game so when i recognised nova i freaked out
how does Nintendo make so many good songs, especially on the 3ds, i can hear it better than on my switch too.
I just realized, this is just a much better take on heart of nova. Sort of a reimagining rather than a remix.
fun fact: this is also called P-R-O-G-R-A-M kinda like CROWNED in return to dreamland AND RHE AREAS IN BOTH GAMES SPELL OUT RHE FINAL BOSS THEME NAMES
Most already know this
And also in Triple Deluxe where the levels spell out FLOWERED.
And now NEW WORLD
And Magolor Epilogue has APPLE.
that must be how he can afford to not get thrown in jail for theft and attempted murder, he is sponsored by a trillion dollar company
P.R.O.G.R.A.M.

Oh wow, I love this track name!
Did you come up with it yourself, or is it stated somewhere, if I may ask? ^^
Thanks a ton!
Can confirm Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection is official, dunno beyond that
These are all the official names given for these tracks.
Hirokazu Ando loves to give titles like these to his music tracks, and If I recall correctly, Star Allies does similar things.
If you're wondering why there's so many names, each "section" of the song gets used for different phases and has different names.
This is from a game………
@@yourfellowthomasd3675 I know this theme is from a game, but I meant the name given to it in the video title!
@@JOEVGM And I had wanted to say thank you, but never got around to it, so thanks for the info, that's really interesting! ^^
Do you know where I can download the original song if it ? I want it without any compressions. Unless.. it is coming from the Amazon album of that game ??
Kirby final boss track names are so wacky
wait what's the difference between vagrant counting song of retrospection and vagrant keepsake of oblivion beyond the first part?
vagrant counting song of retrospection plays when fighting star dream 1.0, and keepsake of oblivion plays when fighting against nova's heart when you defeat all pillars
I’ll think you’ll find it P-R-O-G-R-A-M
that's not the official name
Oh
