Yea awesome catch catching this limited after it rescued this Empire Service with 118 too as well Ive also cachet this this to weekends ago to at the beginning of Columbus weekend And I here on the radio and saw on the schedule that 118 with this empire service hasn’t left Syracuse yet after it arrived at 9:59 AM and then the limited came to hour later a little after 12:00 for its station stopped and then mainly came to decide to help this poor empire service out after it was stuck at Syracuse having trouble for two hours due to 118 having some kind of mechanical problems and then there was a computer problem too as well Was to make it out after this limited rescue done after it arrived at Syracuse after 12:00 at Syracuse
@@amtrakandcsxrailfanning164 I mean it seems that P284 ended up making it to Albany and all the units that where on it where Yanked in Albany and then the Empire Service locks took over and brought the trains down the Hudson like and I think Amtrak 118 was dropped in Albany to get fixed there or being sent somewhere to get fixed and the trains ended up making it to their destinations, but really late though
@@CSXT_8995 well yea I’m sure they did something like that because the trains had to be split in Albany because that will Amtrak does a couple of switching moves Were the lake shore limited train split into its two parts were the front of its train after it got split the front of its train got ready for Boston Massachusetts run after it got split and then they probably didn’t call it 48 in more because the front of the train was called 448 instead as they made a shorter train run to bostion while the rest of the train probably got anther unit to take its place for its run to the big apple on a unit called a P32ACDM to take the train to that city and then 284 probably got a P32ACDM as well after they took of the 118 to maybe bring it to the Albany shops to be reparred
