- How's it going everyone, ChaoticMeatball here with another mainline POC! One so large in fact that it had to literally be split into two halves in order to be digestable. B2W2 are in fact my favorite games of the Pokemon series, and I'm really glad I got to do this challenge.

My favorite thing about B2W2 is the sheer variety of Pokémon to choose from. It makes Nuzlockes more fun and each run more unique.

Blaze black 2 and volt white 2 are even better because every pokemon is available I'm doing a poc right now I'm stuck in pre badge four because I have to get the items to evolve magmar,eleticbuzz,dustclops, and porygon 2 from join avenue

My first run of B2 I found a shiny riolu in the ranch, he was the goldenboi and my first shiny!!
Riolu is rare too

Lucario became my favorite Pokémon because I caught riolu at the farm when I was nine and had a level 100 lucario at the league and it’s been my favorite since
probably one of my favorites honestly lol. i played this game twice, and before i left the first area, i got the pokerus twice lol. and then found a shiny deerling.
After countless playthroughs through so many games, it took me watching videos on RUclips to even know that Pokerus exists lol

You can Thief the Metal Coat off of wild Magnemite in Virbank Complex so you actually could have gotten Steelix before Burgh. It's only a 5% chance that they hold it, however that's still a faster grind than every other grind you did in this video.

I'd have to say that B/W2 are my favourite pokemon games of all time, and my absolute favourite stretch of any region is the coastal section of the eastern peninsula, basically the whole undella-lentimas-village bridge-pokemon league part, it just screams summer and I love undella, as well as the marine tube

The medal Rally is so underrated in these games, as soon as you mentioned filling it I subbed and turned on notification
I wish there weren’t medals that can no longer be obtained!
I think Black 2 would actually be much harder for this challenge -- you get dratini for beating the postgame dungeon crawler in W2, but you can catch that elsewhere, but in B2 you have to do the whole think to get access to gible.
I really love the rustling grass mechanic in these games, it can allow you to do a sort of psuedo professor oak's challenge where you try to complete as much of the dex as possible by catching all of the evolved forms of pokemon from the rustling grass :) places like the lostlorn forest have so many different obtainable pokemon outside of audino it can make for some rewarding catches

My fav moments of bw2 are all the new features... The pwt, white forest, the theatre etc... Keep up the good work

In my first section of black 2 poc I got a shiny Mareep and 2 shiny Azurill :)
They also caught Pokerus in the first section. If you were wondering, no this luck did not continue into the rest of the game. I’m now well into the postgame and I have not encountered a single shiny since my three at floccessy ranch
@@jerry3115 LMAO I put Ampharos in the front of my team since I had her with Volt Switch, Thunder Wave, Cotton Guard, and Confuse Ray and she ended up being the best Pokémon on my team
when you mentioned litwick with memento, i became confused, as i had never had any issues catching litwick ever. turns out that litwick learns memento at level 33, the highest level you can catch it at celestial tower. so by trying to be as efficient as possible, you found a problem i didnt know even exists. i know this is not important, but i found this funny

@@northstarpokeshipper2148 abt 80 or so hrs, i was unable to get shadow mewtwo bc my team can't beat the battle frontier(but i have been improving), but I got all 924. my pride and joy is my full odds shiny ninjask. also, chaotic won't be happy with the hidden grottos, they were a pain to do
God I feel you with the hidden grottoes. And I also thought of doing funfest missions only to find out that 1. You have to raise to a ridiculous level 2. That level is only achievable by connecting with a different game and 3. The hidden grotto mission is only available after you beat the champion

Have been soft resetting in both for a shiny snivy for about 3 years now (starting up on black 2 as well about a year ago). Cannot wait to actually play :|

You should do a Professor Oak's Challenge on Pokemon Storm Silver or Sacred Gold where the goal is to actually catch every pokemon with Arceus being the ultimate catch.

@@antoinepolnareff8970 Legends Arceus didn't exist when I wrote this comment. Legends Arceus has 242 catchable Pokemon where Sacred Gold has all 493. Funny enough I'm playing Sacred Gold right now.

Pokémon white 2 was they first ever Pokémon game I bought and played through, it got me into Pokémon and I have sadly lost my first and only copy, but I have found a fake that works really well, and I'm happy to play along with you

My best experience with the gen 5 games was definitely me getting my first shiny, which was a shiny growlithe back when I was about 9 or 10 years old. It was insane. My favourite area has to be the Strange House east of Lentimas Town. I feel like that place was definitely a missed opportunity for a Darkrai event with that whole house having Darkrai in its backstory but it still remains my favourite area
my favorite thing about B2 W2 is returning to N's castle. All the memories.

Snivy is my favorite as well and I have been wanting to give this a try but I’m going to start with leaf green it’ll be a lot easier then 5th gen but love the videos
the only experience i remember is having a samurott and a bunch of weak pokemon trying to beat iris, and that gave me a terror of fighting her ever again, and now i am replaying the story once again because now i know how to play pokemon 1:21

Mystery dungeon would be incredibly hard considering that you can also get recruits as rewards for jobs. As well as the sheer amount of time it would take having only a small chance to have to recruit Pokémon. Also the amount of times you would have to go back into the dungeons

Just saw this and made the same decision to do an Oak Challenge of Blaze Black 2!
I think this is the only game I haven’t played. Started it and it was so much like black that I couldn’t be bothered to be invested in the sequel. This version of a play through looks more interesting than the actual game!!🤣

Black2White2 is peak pokemon
You actually didn't need to use your Master Ball! You could have used Unfezant from section 1 because it can learn Taunt via level-up! Taunt's TM is pretty late-game, so a Pokémon like Zangoose or Darmanitan could have helped you! But I think the best choice is Unfezant, as it's the fastest!
I actually did spend a lot of time in Pokestar Studios but only cause I found out depending on how well you do, people would give you good healing items if you talk to them
The likelyhood of you finding a heracross in the hidden grotto is lower than my chance of finding a shiny sobble in shield right now lmao

I found like 3 shinies in the first section of x and y. Scared me to death since I was running out of pokeballs. It was a shiny riolu, azurill and something else. I can't remember what it was right now. I also managed to find a second shiny riolu but accidentally ran away from it. I have been getting really lucky with the shinies for that run. White 2 and black 2 were the second two pokemon games I ever owned. First two were black and white. Oshawott was my favorite but snivy really grew on me

Well the Electrizer OR Magmarizer is available in B2 W2 but they’re version exclusive (corresponding to the pokemon available in your game), trade evolutions anyway, and they’re available on the plasma frigate... post 7th or 8th gym.

i attempted this game as well so far i have 5 of the first section pokemon evolved then i needed a break
