I never really liked blender tutorials because of how bland they were and how little they delved into topics in order to keep the viewer focus, your ability to go in-depth on topics in blender without immediately going into advanced territory is what re-sparked my want to try and learn. Keep up the great work and I'll be sure to follow this series closely as you release the following episodes!

These are the blender tutorials I needed! Screw donuts - you're actually explaining what's going on.

I found your tutorials while looking at your Factorio videos. Already loving the presentation, also especially how you explain quirks of the system!

this tutorial is INVALUABLE to me since you're literally the one that got me into factorio modding in the first place.
I really like how everything that you mention/use, even offhandedly, you explain in very simple terms.

A good habit to have is to always edit parts in the edit mode instead of object mode
This way, you don't have to apply changes such as Scale, rotation, etc...

Had to track this down, but if you don't have a numpad on the device you're using you can press ` and then a number to change your view in the viewport. The numbers aren't exactly the same as the numpad for whatever reason but it is an alternative. I'm not sure if there's a way to get the functionality of non-number numpad shortcuts without changing keybinds

This is exactly what i wish i had when i was learning. My knowledge is so patchwork because i pieced it together from so many other sources of varying purpose and competence. I'll be following this with great interest to shore up my general knowledge of blender, and be recommending it to my friends if this is the quality to expect going forward.

I uploaded the wrong version. Subtle typos and a slightly better explanation of one topic. I was SUPER tired when I uploaded last night lol

@@galdocstutorials You may want to remove the old version from the playlist. I saw the old one when I watching the playlist right now :^)
