    Hey I work at Ford as a tech if you want to completely disable traction control and stability control for diagnostic purposes you want to have the car running in neutral hold down the traction control button and keep holding until stability control message shows hope this helps

    Hey AJ, looks like you've got a new shop set up. This is Hunter Hayes, from TFR. I came over with Tony Boehm to your shop in Jersey a couple years ago. Hope you're doing well! Loving the content!

    Donuts around a hay bale for science. I like it. Maybe try swapping injectors to diagnose misfire?

    So just for clarification the gt350 would actually fall into Street GT in Gridlife which allows 315 tires so you’d be good to just run 295 square Yoko’s in both series. Problem is the 295 A052 tires for GTA don’t come in 19’s so you’d have to run smaller brakes for 18” wheels. I’ll probably run a few events in Street GT in my GT350 next season so hope to see you out there. BTW, we met at Hyperfest. I was in the blue GT500 that we had the aero discussion about.

      Aero will push me out of street GT.

      I didn’t notice that they did not make a 19. Hmm. No way it’s worth downgrading brakes and buying 18” wheels to run gta now. I knew a spec tire rule was stupid for that series when they announced it a few years ago.

      @@ajhartmanaero The brakes was the first thing that popped in my mind too, won't fit with 18" and you can never have too much brakes on these things. Reducing the brakes size / capability = bad idea unless you're strictly drag racing...

    I've found autoxing in dyno mode, the car is way more tail happy.

      And I know a few gt350s that have had the intake cam position sensor pigtail replaced, usually the passenger side. You could have a similar issue with the coil pack connector

      @@chrisbouchard4719 talked to a guy at VIR that did that but his car threw different codes than mine. I have a complete harness coming to me so should Elemis are that as a cause.

    I was just looking at FORScan and that same cable. $50 for the cable and $50 for the software is a steal. I need it mainly to cycle abs for brake bleeds.

    • @ajhartmanaero
      @ajhartmanaero  2 года назад +1

      Yeah I very briefly looked at using it to activate ABS for that issue but havent had to do it yet. Also, ForScan has a 2 month free trial so I'm only out the cost of the cable at the moment.

    Lawn jobs? What are we, 17 again? At least do it on your neighbor's lawn next time.
    To get square tires, all you need is a few good brake lock-ups.
    Remember, you're not fighting the TC, you're fighting the engineer who decided how much computer help you need driving your car.
